So far Goss has been a gem of a find and perhaps great reinforcement of DOF. I also think there are perhaps another two in first team who will outshine Scottish football.

Would prefer Docherty to start before Goss. Goss is not our player and his club have made it clear that he's not for sale

It's all about points and the best way to that is playing your best 11. No favouritism, no rewarding loyalty for the sake of it, no carrying passengers off form. If Goss is better than Docherty, he starts whether he's loan or not.

Dunno about you guys but I feel we miss Jack in the middle now. Physicallity wise. As Mike says, I’d probs opt for Docherty. He’s a unit for his size!

Really looking forward to seeing the boy Docherty. To be honest did not really notice him that much at Hamilton but everything I hear suggests he has a lot to offer.

I expected a lot more from Ryan Jack if I’m honest, with our midfield options now he wouldn’t start for me, not to say he can’t knuckle down and make the jersey his own but I would expect a hell of a lot more, he’s also a worry going into Europe. no more stupid red cards for handbags please, just don’t get involved!

I think of all the injuries, Mcrorie is the biggest miss without doubt. his energy, drive and commitment are all a big miss. first name on the team sheet for me when fit

Totally agree SG34, McCrorie is a massive miss and our best sitting midfielder and also centre half by a long way. Should build our team around him

Mccrorie definitely been missed. Looks like a great player for us. Holt and Jack different players.

Holt has been excellent at times this season, really improved under Murty. He's quick, good reading of the game which breaks up a lot of play from our opposition and always looks to play quick sharp passes. I was excited about the signing of Jack but his discipline has been a massive issue this season and he's never really been a standout in any of the games he's played so for me Holt on form this season is the better player.

Don't have a problem with holt, he's done okay this season. When everyone is fit, he's a squad player. We need bite in midfield, jack gives us that.

Windlass an enigma to me but his work rate awful and he brings nothing of note to the team. Prepared to wait and see but there must be someone better in wings.

Has brought plenty goals and assists in the last couple of months. Absolute cert to be in the team most weeks for me.
If he can find the consistency (which he has improved on already) then he could continue to be a big player for us.

Really like windass. Workmate an issue but goals and assists put him in the team for me. definitely a very good player there. Will be selling him for millions down the line.

Thomas Cerny's comments about rangers fans swaying referee disicions had me rolling about the floor laughing this morning. It's clear from dizzy referee displays from John Beaton and Willie Columm that they try to keep the opposition out the book until the dying stages of the game, although they are very keen to get the home team in the book as early as possible to calm the heated atmosphere. John Beaton has already been demoted due to the worst refereeing performance of the SPL season. Luckily for Collum, he has avoided media humiliation or he would have suffered the same fate as Beaton. Obismal display, and ironic this guy is a "moral education teacher".

Cerny should have been penalised for that shambles against Cummings, I can’t believe the ref gave that the other way or at worst play on! Anyway, it’s a game of opinions I suppose but if we had drew that game I’d have been fuming

Cummings young guy and great character. We lost a lot of that when Walter left last time and his team departed. Really think we have finally turned a corner and we have the makings of a young ambitious team. In the background rumbles appear positive with share issue and stadium repairs etc. Sooner rather than later we will challenge for title and Glasgow will be Blue again.

Morning everyone. Scottish cup week, Rangers cannot take this game lightly as I think we have a chance of winning the trophy this time, but we have to give it our all and work really hard to do so. As regards the team for Sunday i, de like to see Doherty play Rossiter get some game time and 2 up top. The loan signings in my opinion I think Murphy is decent but has to do more Cummings has to do a lot more Martin I like. As for Windass I have no problem with him he knows he did wrong just get on with it and keep scoring goals. c'mon us.

You are right Robbie, this is a potential banana skin and Ayr cannot be taken lightly. I’d like to see Goss get a rest as this will be rough and tumble and I’d probably go with Docherty and Holt from the start! Cummings and Morelos up top and let’s see if we can start building a partnership! Don’t know the situation with the Declan John injury but maybe get one of the young boys in the team if he isn’t fit.
