Here's a wee point to think about.

Imagine watching a team win back to back championships at a canter, in an uncompetitive league, with an ageing, overpriced squad playing unattractive football whilst ignoring the youths.

How often would this apply to any of sir walter's seasons?

Im not defending mccoist and definitely not accusing our walter as I didn't complain at the time, but something a few of you on here need to consider before spewing bile onto your mobile/laptop/tablet

Ps anyone know how to find the latest on BDO, Collyer Bristow, d&p etc and all the court cases?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

How can you possibly compare Walter and Ally. Walter's teams were playing in the top league while Ally's team has been playing in the 2 lowest tiers of Scottish football. There want as big a gap financially between Walter's team and the opposition and Ally's team and the opposition. Walter was successful in the cups and got Rangers to a European final while Ally has made Rangers a laughing stock in the cup competitions and can't even win the Ramsdens cup. Wish people would engage their brain before posting on here

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's a few wee points to think about.
Your hero Super Ally only wants to focus on football. The football he and his teams are producing has Ibrox half empty. We went bust with a policy of spending money we couldn't afford on over priced limited ability no residual transfer fee footballers and in-spite of a custom built facility for youth development your hero has gone down the same route to ruin. We maybe back in the top league in just over 12 months but in what state? The oldest and second most expensive team in the league.
We are football fans like Ally we are only interested in football but in-spite of your tireless defense of your hero his football is mince and for that reason and that reason alone some of us are not renewing our season tickets.
Yes the board are a huge concern but for me Ally boy is every bit as much a concern and AMCC's continued presence and non tactics just take away all the shine off what potentially could have been an exciting Championship.

Stewie and northbear 100%

@1, spot on Stewie.

Nbear I don't rate ally, if you read my posts its clear I don't think he's up to the job. But i'm fed up with the constant attacks on him for non-footballing reasons. his biggest fault is that he's not a very good football manager. Sick of the attitide of a lot of fellow bears on here.

Stewie, I know its comparing apples and oranges but surely you get my point?

Ally could redeem some faith by giving his penny shares to the fans, if he hasn't done what CG and others done and sold them at a premium.
Also he should know the product is very very poor and therefore he has achieved as much as he can, and should step aside, if we can see it he can see it, but on his wages would you or I step aside. I doubt it.

SG 75

Don't really think there has been that much bile directed towards Ally. Most people recognise that he isn't good enough and needs to go. Ally has also left himself open to criticism by making stupid comments about not reading his contract. More and more fans are realising he is hopeless and that under him we will never challenge Celtic for the league

Agree0 Disagree0

Sg75 you have even said in post 5 his biggest fault is he is not a very good football manager and that's the problem though no doubt mr mccoist would not agree with you

Larky bear I think his name was chilavert or sumin like that

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - the Paraguay keeper? I loved him! He was top goalscorer one season, his free kicks and pens were deadly. Last I heard he was going to run for President or something of Paraguay. He always seemed to be a complete fruit loop, so I fear for the country if he takes power!}

That's it Snowbaw & Ed he was a legend. He had a cartoon bulldog on the front of one of his club shirts at one point. He was hilarious.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah he was crazy ed but he, s way off on the goalscoring charts from the Brazilian goalie scored over 100 goals or sumin some quality strikers can't score that amount

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I am never convinced by Brazilian goal scoring tallies. They often add in all sorts of obscure matches, friendlies and youth games etc to bump up the amounts. Look at Pele's totals, half of them weren't even real matches, just exhibition games etc.}

Rangers have said they will be looking at a 10 years developing fee as compensation on losing out on Telfer to D UTD.
United chairman Thomson says as Rifc have only been in existence for over two years, they will only pay any monies due over his two year period at this new club.

What does everyone think about Bilel Mohsni having Lukuaku in his back pocket last night!

Agree0 Disagree0

A miracle

Agree0 Disagree0

Baldy thompson will find out one way or another we are not a new club as has been stated by most people with a brain in there head obviously this baldy wee man doesn't do listening his brain is probably cold due to lack of hair on his head

Agree0 Disagree0

Thompson and the others who went out of their way to ensure Rangers weren't allowed back in to the top flight of Scottish football will get their come-uppance one day. What an person and what a pathetic excuse for not paying up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Going by that logic, you need to come up with 160 million to pay what is owed!

Agree0 Disagree0

N5 I don't understand where has the 160 figure came from

I'm looking forward to a court battle with dundee united - telfer was a player who tupe'd and for those with little knowledge of tupe it means you keep your "service" even if you change companies. Ask the jarvis staff who recently won a court battle that when jarvis liquidated and they were taken on by a new employer they kept their "service" when taking up employment with the new company.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Maybe if Ally was to show he was prepared to give the young players a decent run we could avoid this type of issue. It is not good publicity for the club and does not give confidence to potential investors or current share prices. Always this club is in media for all the wrong reasons. Every positive seems to get wiped away by two negatives

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct edmundo

Agree0 Disagree0

TUPE is for the employee, not the new bosses. It’s a breach of contract if the new employer doesn’t meet the terms of the employment contract.
The telling point is that its a new employer. Telfer has only been with new employer 2 yrs. not his fault not our fault and not Utds fault. its what happens when we stupidly went bust. Give it a break,,,, and let's just enjoy the new season for god sake,,

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed Ally. Are RIFC really going to stand up in court and try to recoup 10 years of expenditure spent on training Telfer?

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2014 12:07:15
I hope all you Telfer lovers now see him for what he is. He was offered a good contract at Rangers but prefers to ply his wares at a team that hates us with a passion good riddance to him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Aren't we cranky today!
The lad just wants some game time! Can't blame him. Maybe he'll regret the move later in life but for now it seems as if he can take a step up in his career. Good luck to him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf the lad has the right to make up his own mind and what's best for him if I had a son and if rangers offered better terms than anyone I would advise him to go to somewhere he would get a chance that's bad crack jyf

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you on about? He made his decision, whether you agree or not. If he supported Rangers, why did he decide to leave? Some people take football too seriously.

Agree0 Disagree0

At least the guy did it to get first football. People forget the Aliistair McCoist turned us down and went to Sunderland at first time of asking from St Johnston and he was a supporter as well?

Agree0 Disagree0

Teller is ambitious and wants to play regular first team football. Not going to happen when manager keeps buying old friends! IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

Bongo macoist still puts his interests first same with his ego ta

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf he was offered the contract after dun/utd offered him one. ally's agent

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf telfer obviously sees this move as premotion ie getting first team football and let's face facts footballers play football he will find out later in his life if moving was the right thing for him to do eh

Agree0 Disagree0

OP, as far as I'm concerned the fact that he has gone to Dundee Utd speaks volumes. Firstly it tells me he wants to play, not sit on the bench and pick up his wages and secondly, he knows fine well he will not get the chance to play whilst ally is our mismanaged. Good luck to the lad.

Which of the posters have renewed or will buy a season ticket for next season?

I have renewed mine, for the 15th season in the same seat.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not me. Game by game

Agree0 Disagree0

For the first time in 25 years. No!

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jun 2014 12:10:15
Definitely not although I do respect the decision of any bear who has renewed.

P. S. Is Dave King on holiday or something?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not won't unless change manager or tactics

Agree0 Disagree0

No not this season and my money is not with Dave King, after following Rangers for over 50 years things just don't appear to be what they should be at Ibrox, game by game and if it gets worse I'll pick my games. And if it gets sorted out to my liking I'll renew! That is my opinion you may agree or disagree that is your opinion!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not me - sorry guys
hope I'm wrong, but can only see us going one way. all the support in the world won't change it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bil72 youve hit the nail on the head mate
