I am really really disappointed in what Dave Kings saying today, again we had a chance for real change, no he goes back on his statement a month ago about a director of coaching and now we're getting a manager rather than a coach? We missed the boat 3 years ago on change were missing the boat again now he's publicly telling everyone about a Warchest do we never learn that means paying over the odds for players cause everyone knows money's there.
And 3 x players out of the 5 dear o dear shocking I was so looking forward to attractive football next year with some young guys coming through, I'm starting to think Mr King speaks with fork tongue!

Disappointed though not remotely surprised at Dave Contradiction King and his press conference today.

And I now doubt Mark Warburton will be manager now even though betting on him has been suspended apparently.

This isn't funny anymore ,why doesn't he tell the fans the truth, the club is broke ,we need to live within our means, we might no go up, we won't over invest ,whatever that means, . I have never saw such a shifty looking interview in my life ,and this was from a friendly interviewer, if he doesn't have the 50 was it,30' a mean 20' sorry 13million then say so , the fans know they are in trouble just one of you lot tell the truth, you never know you just might get some help and support from the fans

Bongo wait and see what he comes up with then you can judge. I for one felt quite excited about it all. let's get behind it and see what comes. We really don't know yet so let's leave it to the only people who can make the difference at the moment.

Bongo settle down , for all you know he is negotiating behind the scenes with the person he wants to take over and when the deal has been agreed he will happily announce.

I have to agree there are a few contradictory remarks coming out of our new leaders.Hearts won the league with a good blend of mainly young legs and a couple of experienced heads.
Lets not go back to the spend, spend bull when we have an excellent facility for youth development. The best facility for youth development and the worst record in developing youth- let's change that Mr King. As for 45,000 season tickets well it really is a chicken and egg situation. If an exciting managerial choice with exciting young players come in then a right few seasons will be sold. But a lot of people may hold off to see who is coming in and how we will shape up. But let's live within our means for a wee change.

The season ticket money is only needed to bankroll the whole bloody farce. King and co will sit back using our money to pay the bills then blame others for their non investment ie Ashley retail deal. King already making noises about this and why it will impact on his investment? in fact il go out on a limb and state hear now. that he will.
1. Not get a nomad. due to Ashley and old regime.
2. Shares not re-listed on market. due to Ashley and old regime.
3. Not allowed transparency. due to Ashley and old regime.
4.Not paying loan back. due to Ashley and old regime
5.Ashleys men on board. due to Ashley and old regime.
6. No new share issue. due to Ashley and old regime(speak for no one wanted to buy them.)
7. Struggling financially by Chrizmo after season ticket money spent.due to Ashley and old regime.
Lets hope this is not GROUNDHOG DAY.or Animal Farm.I hope not, but just read SOS latest nonsense. they are so far up Kings backside that they can't see anything but his greatness. omg. Price rises exceptable etc etc etc. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa read latest press releases.omg is there anyone out there actually going to challenge this lots of crap.

Dave king is foolish not to have a director of football coming in. The dof can concentrate on the scouting, coaches and youth policy. Which means the head coach can focus on making the first team better!

Believable6 Unbelievable4

08 Jun 2015 22:50:49
I'm not someone who thinks the sun shines out kings @rse, but why have the added expense of a director of football, the reality is championship football next year, maybe with promotion , but even then, I think this is one of the modern fads in football, for every success story there's probably 3 failures.

BIGWULL, Quite simply it is not a case of trusting DK and then if it does not work out it is make your mind up time. It is make your mind up time now.[ or after the egm.]
You are correct in saying he is the only show in town but I seriously have more doubts now about him than ever I had.
I believe that he was banking on his family pension fund backing his boasts about investment and the trustees have quite simply said no. Trustees only invest in certs for profits and we are far from that. Their best investment would be 'the manky mob' out of Europe by September.
Again we have a 'saviour' who wants our money first on certain promises and a senior player 'begging' for us to commit to buying season tickets. We are yet again in a situation of no options if we want to continue. DK is betting on our hearts ruling our heads and being totally honest all he has done is make false promises and much as I miss going to watch my team I will not return until there is total transparency and most importantly total honesty. Tell us the truth and not what you think we want to hear is my plea.

Bornblue are you suggesting Dave King only puts in the same amount as you or are you telling him how to spend his hard earned fortune.
Who do you think you are , what gives you the right to demand how someone spends their money. He has stated on record that he intends to spend some of his own money but guess what he probably wants to make sure he gets value for his cash. Our last management appointment was a complete disaster and only Mr McCoists playing legend status has shielded him from the the flak he should have got , can you imagine if it had been a foreigner that had managed us someone like Paul Le Guen he would have been absolutely hung out to dry.So I say take the rest of the week to make the appointment but please make it someone who wants to play football.

Would like to replace Bell, can't see Hearts letting us have Patterson, better centre backs than Souttar, Leon Brittain, a bit old! Chris Burke, no thanks. If we are fortunate enough to secure Warburton then I suspect that he will have a number of players on his short list and some of them will presumably be at Brentford

DK Has made a press release to flog the season book, now why would I invest my money, when I don't know who the manager is, what players are going to be playing for us. I Think I'll be keeping my money, until I get more information. For too long Supporters Have been taken for granted, and don't give me it's your Team rubbish, if the product is good enough I'll Pay Not before.

More promises of investment or "over investment"from King today, but he just happens to be pluggin season books at the same time.I think its time he put up some dough before the new manager comes in,just to dispel any doubts over his intentions.I want to see his money before I put mine in.

He doesn't have money. He is relying on you lot again. Plus season ticket prices are up. Strange considering you are in same position again. Sounds all a bit desperate to me. You can cover it all up with his rallying calls for need to overspend all you want. To me it is clear he has no clout.

I think I remember somebody on this site saying we're all daft! The saviour Dave king comes out with the nonsense about use were better off havin another year in the championship! Forgive me if I'm wrong but did he not say before the mighty well horsed use that u need to be in the big league! And now use need to pay more for season tickets without knowing your team or manager! And use are going to overspend to get up to the big league! Like I said before the words down the swanny spring to mind! And they calls us daft 😝😝😝😝😝

It does worry me that there is not a managerial appointment. In reality Warburton and Weir would be the best appointment unless of course one of the five is a top quality European or SPL forward thinking coach that has not yet been mentioned. Appointing McLeish would be like going back into the dark ages, especially if Alex Rae is appointed as his assistant. McCall showed against Motherwell that he is not the man for the job, too much sentiment for previous clubs and no real track record of winning championships! McInnes won't leave Aberdeen, he is not a great manager and the Aberdeen support will be happy with the occasional league cup and third or fourth in the league. Davies would be totally the wrong person for Rangers and has done nothing worth getting excited about in his managerial career!

Didn't realise this was a Timmy site all of a sudden. Still, bless they've little to get excited about back out east. Maybe you are secret green spies hoping to find some valuable information to assist your cause. Just watch as Jam Tarts slide back towards the Championship again and the Tims crash out of Europe at the first hurdle (or 2nd or 3rd if they get more chances again like last season). Still no Timmy treble to celebrate despite the absence of the world's most successful football club, both in terms of championships won and domestic trebles won. WATP.
