I think there won't be any new kit for this season as Ashley rights to manufacture it has been taken away from him and Rangers can't dare bringing out their own new strip.

New signings will be announced when they are completed and I think is brilliant that we are actually chatting about things like signings and not all frees n loans after the last few years.

Need some news about the signings. Like Greg Stewart but must say relieved to see the two strikers being rumoured are out and out number nines.
We cannot go into a competitive season looking to win the title with only a 37 year old as our main point of attack and only main striker expected to hold a starting place, no matter how Warburton sets out the team.

Never posted before so this is my first one. Not a rumour I've heard but more of a suggestion for the Magic Hat. what about Adam Rooney as a striker. Consistent proven goal scorer who knows SPL.

Nikolas Bentdner, Osvaldo and Ronaldinio all out of contract and available for affordable wages I'd imagine. I think any of them could do a job in SPFL Bentdner is only 28, Osvaldo not much older and despite being 36 Ronaldhinio would be silky sub.

Ok Bears, just wanted to know what your thoughts are regarding our CB's. We are all waiting to see who Warbs signs and I ain't a big fan of Taylor, anytime I saw him play I wasn't that impressed also a bit injury prone and would think he would want to be on same money as Barton. Would love to see someone in the same mould as big Amo and someone like Boughera beside him a CB that if the opportunity was there could run with it. Anyways what do u think about having Crooks and Ball in there if he signs?

I'm not sure a centr back that runs with the ball is what we need. One that can win a ball, win a header and pass it out is what I'd like to see.

Sure we need a CB. The way I see it is it's not entirely the CB's incompetence leaking so many goals, its the fact we use Wallace and Tavernier as wingers which puts the pressure on CBs. Barton will help as he's a no nonsense CM, but won't solve the problem. We either sign two top class CBs or change tactics eg if Tavernier attacks then Wallace stays back to keep a back 3 and vice-versa. BTW talkin to a Newcastle fan says Taylor is well past it.

Andy 1872. I like the idea of Crooks and Ball in central defence. Keeping one of them there with Wilson and Kiernan to alternate when required. How about,
Foderingham; Tavernier, Ball, Crooks, Wallace; Rossiter, Barton, Holt; Windass, Waghorn, Mackay.
O'Halloran, Halliday, Forrester, Miller and Hardie would all be good subs/ alternatives and especially, I'd like to see young Hardie given a chance - maybe in the early League Cup matches? King Kenny can be used as a super-sub or play the first hour in certain matches.

What is it with the obsession with crooks? He might be a good player or he might be a squad player. Who knows how he will handle step up in class and all the pressure that goes with playing for rangers. We need to sign proven players to strengthen team as well as players such as crooks for the future.

To be fair Luigi he does look a player anytime I've seen him, but I agree he is not a certain success. I've not seen much of Windass to be honest but his goals record from Midfield looks impressive. For free they're still both a good bit of business, definitely prospects.
