Before the game everyone thought we are losing this, but I thought we could have and maybe should have won I also thought the players showed grit and fight and got wired in well done guys . ok it got a bit to rough at times but watching our guys standing up to it was great to see. Never a penalty unreal desision . Young Mccrorrie in Def, mid was superb he's a natural in there, Hallady held his own at full back thought he did well tonight I like the keeper and Alfredo is a hand full when he's in the mood and does a lot defenceivly too good point Rangers . After reading a number of posts after the game I’m sure we’ve been hacked by a number of Russia trolls. We fought for everything (most players) and played better than we have of late - especially the second half. We are missing some quality which we’ll need to fix but at least we worked hard and should commitment (again most players)

Probably the first thing is that The Rangers (as we've always been called) aren't skint. We have a huge turnover which is increasing year on year. True we are running at a deficit at the moment and will continue for the near future but that's to be expected and being funded by the board. You are also right that investors are not looking for a return on their money. There is not one club in Scotland where investors would put money into football looking for a healthy return. All investors do it for the club they love nothing else.
Stevie G was our number 1 target and lot of others were interested in the job. King said in his statement they would back him as much as he needed. Could be as much as 20/ 25 million depending on players leaving etc. I think people should stop spouting what they 'wish' was happening at Rangers and start looking at the facts.
When you say 'King should leave now' who else would come in? King and the other 3 bears are basically underwriting our losses at the moment and I don't see anyone else willing to do that, do you? Nonsense statement coming from someone who knows nothing.

I really hope fans aren't being so gullible and getting there hopes up with all these ex Liverpool players that are out of contract next season. There is no way they will be at us next season I think that out the lot the only one believable is Charlie Adam. The rest will probs be off to America, China or maybe out on loan to a big club in Europe. I mean come on the likes of Torres, Sturridge, Milner etc they are on 100k+ a week. There is not a hope in hell! If we tap Liverpool for players it will be the 17/ 18 years in on loan for a season or 2. Attacking Midfield. Candias Windass and promote Middleton. Would get rid of MOH Dodoo Forrester Pena. So think we would need 3 attacking midfielders all first squad picks.
Strikers. Give Hardie another contract and Morelos. Miller and Herrera to go. So think we could use another 3 strikers.
So really in my eyes we could be doing with adding 13 players at least promoting 5 at least while getting rid of at least 12 and the 4 on loan and Miller Bates Niko Wilson those have left or leaving as out of contract.

Some of the posts on here are down right crazy! A few years ago we were playing teams like Peterhead and Queen's Park! We have just made one of the biggest appointments in the clubs and in Scotland's history! And people are still moaning, do you really think Dave King is going to come out and say we are going to give our new manager X ammount to spend on players, every other team would just hike up the price of anybody we try to get. Get behind the team and stop putting us down, the only way to topple Celtic is a united front of board, manger, players and supporters!

I agree to a certain extent Goph, but not so sure about the price hike just because we had loadsamoney . Every club including us will try to get the max payment for players.

I know what your saying mate, but l only think that applies to players that clubs don't want to or are knowing are going to leave, if a club want a player to stay they will be looking for every last penny for him, but if a player is not in there plans for the new season they will take a reasonable bid for them, no point telling them we have plenty of cash they will just up the price, it's all just hypothetical at the moment anyway, I think most of our buisness will be players who are out and contract and also loan deals.

The price for a player is the price for a player. How much exactly do you think a team would up the price? If anything teams would be more likely to do a regular type of transfer. An instalment or appearance type of structured deal instead of demanding full payment up front. Why not give the fans, other investors and other teams the confidence to deal with and be interested in the club again?
If DK had it all sorted out believe me you would know about it. The main thing he is after right now is season book money so there is cash coming in. Slightly off topic as but for an astute business man his handling of the take over panel has been farcical. He has known for months what has been required of him dragged your club through the papers and basically been told by the panel step by step instructions of how to transfer funds yet he is pi55ing about setting up a UK bank account in the 11th hour and complaining about not having enough time to move funds?
His statement today about critic's CL money is just more of the same nonsense and a smokescreen. The real question should be what happens if rangers don't get a run in Europe.

They are not only worried but totally sick that Gerrard is our new Manager. For some strange reason they thought he was one of them. Had a few of them on here saying he would never come to us and laughing about it but they now seem to be quiet.

Obvious this is a rumour page but what I don't get is. why would Gerrard sign if there was no money to spend. Not saying this is 20-30 Mil. I think there is is 10-15 and the sale of players will make it 15-20.

I would expect funds to be available for SG to improve this group and think they will be working over time to off load as many players who won’t be seen to be in his plans to add to funds or wage structure.
No doubt Gerrard will have sat down with Mark Allen with availability regarding out of contract players and loan signings .
If Gerrard is to be a strong leader as a manager This will be our best attribute which will filter through the group making us mentally stronger
