Just back from tonight's game and whilst it was only the pars! It was a good good performance tonight! Alves is rock solid, candeais is a cracking wee player with great work ethic and pace, morelos has goals in him no doubt! Dorrans absolutely strolled it and windass seems to becoming more and more confident on the front foot!
All in all a cracking nights work.

Not sure about Pena signing. He looks well out of shape from the daily record pic today. Begs the question what checks we did on him before paying over £2M?

I wish people would just give the new players like Pena I bit of time there where some on here slating morelos at the weekend and he got man of the match tonight give them support not grief.

I see Mick mcCarthey stating rangers go no where near a million for waghorn and saying they got him for a snip. why the undisclosed fee? It seems we just wanted shot of all the players and don't seek to make a bean on any of them. I guess we're at a loss over all still on the garner fee last season

Coldo, my point is that nobody has a crystal ball, and therefore commenting that a player will be a failure after such a short time, is rediculous. Many a player has not started well. PATIENCE is the name of the game, unfortunately too many on this site, don't seem to have any.

You make a fair point about giving a player a chance but the patience criticism is off the mark. We've endured 5 years of toil and have stood by the team. The only other team I can think about who has suffered as much is Leeds United. They have a great history and fan base and should be in the Premier League. Our supporters have shown unbelievable patience and rightly expect things to have turned the corner and want to win the title. We want to beat Celtic but let's do better than beating other clubs by a single goal.

kfraser, we are speaking about a player not the team as a whole. We came back to the SFPL 1 year late so the fans patience was never in doubt. I stand by my point that we have to have patience with the new players. Don't forget this is a team with 5 new signings trying to play together in serious games. Not every striker we sign can be a Colin Stein.

Bluetoon, when you pay 1mil for morelos, 2 mil for herrera, 3 mil for pena the least you expect is an encouraging performance. I accept that morelos done well tonight although against dunfermline. Prior to tonight neither had an encourage performance in any of the friendly's / europe / league. I never said they would fail, I said that so far I don't see it. Plenty of players have been give time and failed, plenty have been given time and been a success. I hope they do come good, of course I do. I'm just sick of the patience card, or different culture card being played. We spent over 5mil approx on two mexicans and so far not a sniff.
