Rip Liam Miller so tragic! I lost my mum when she was 35 to this horrible horrible disease I wouldn't wish that on anyone, my condolences to his family at this sad time

I think he’s overpriced at £7.5m mate but he’s got a good pedigree so who knows. If he makes the national team then he will be worth a ton. He would have to up his game big time for that though.

If we were really offered the sum mentioned for him I can't believe we rejected it because I don't think he was worth half that, misses too many chances and off side too much for me

It's almost impossible to guage a players true value these days due to the vast sums squandered by Chinese and EPL clubs. Seemingly a player is worth what someone is willing to pay but given that so many can afford and are willing to pay way over the odds the word value loses all true meaning. So I personally don't see the point in speculating until a bid comes in that the board deem acceptable. The newspapers are clueless and will print anything regardless of where it comes from and clubs PR departments (Traynor, Lawell etc. ) use this to their advantage to try and inflate the price. If and when bids do arrive, then we can argue whether they represent value or not. In the meantime let's hope he does the business on the pitch.

We will be lucky to get £3.5m, I expect he’ll push through a transfer in the summer to a championship team. I think he’s a good player but too small and naive for the top divisions, his work rate can at times leave a lot to be desired.

In relation to Sundays game against Ayr we need to go into this game with a full strength starting 11.

Our next game is not for another 7 days, this should be treated like a standard league game.

Ayr are missing first team players such as their captain Docherty, along with Geggan and Crawford who regularly play in midfield. Big centre half Higgins is also missing.

Need to go at them and aim to hammer them to send out a message.

European qualifiers in the summer is going to be tougher for Scottish teams so winning the scottish cup would move us up a qualifying phase.

Regarding this weeks game, now this is no disrespect to Ayr but this is a game that we should be able to try something different, would like to see how Morelos and Cummings work together and see if we can get a good partnership between them, would also like to see Docherty start the game and maybe a few youngsters.

There is no way any youngsters will be involved on Sunday as the risk for Murty will be too great. This will be a tough fixture and a full strength team will be needed to progress
