I see that southend Utd have received a winding up order from Hmrc.
I think it would be great if the gers could arranged a friendly game at ibrox over the next 2 weeks against our rising stars with all the money going to southend.
I think it would be a win win as it would give our young boys some extra good experience also create another link with a English side that we could maybe use to loan some of our younger squad members.

TBH I'm a bit surprised at the response of some people.
Ok they have been in the English league. Ok they have no links with us. No they didn't do anything for us.
However I would ask any fan, who can remember that feeling we went through thinking our club may disappear FOREVER, if they are happy to watch another fan go through this?
How would you feel if you thought a much bigger club were willing to play a game or two to help. What would your impression of that club be?
I'm pretty sure you would think - yes they are "The People".
Bitterness is for the other side. Be the club that leads the way!

I think we should offer rossiter to Dundee and middleton to kimmarnock on loan an bring kamara and jones in the now. it would get rossiter and middleton more game time and give us our 2 pre contracts more time to settle for next season.

Hmm no killie they are too close to us in the league we don’t want to help our rivals surely.? Even though they prob won’t play against us but they can do damage against other teams in the league that could come back to bite us in the ass I agree with them maybe going out on loan but not to an spl club.

I would definitely agree on Rossiter going on loan as he really needs minutes on the park so it makes sense that he goes
Not so sure about Killie and Middleton
As far as we m concerned they can suck it up
They were offered money for Jones in the summer and turned it down so I would just take him for nothing in the summer coming.

It would be pointless sending Rossiter on lone as he would get injured immediately after playing a couple of games and we need to get him off the books🇬🇧 A waste of a wage.

Molsgoals - there is no doubt the lad is a player, but half a dozen games in 3? seasons? Its time to let him go and hopefully 'develop' somewhere else, but I doubt he will unfortunately.

If rossiter could stay fit then he might get a chance. I would rather mccrorie got the game time. For me, he is a much better prospect than rossiter. 👍.

I am all for signing experienced players but i really don't think we need Bryson we have enough midfielders plus we will have docherty in back in the summer.

I met a boy down at the petrol station and he said his neighbours dug is good pals with Stevie G and that there’s definitely more to come.
Come on man, the window has barely opened, the only people that truly know are Stevie G and Mark Allen. Until they put on the famous jersey everything is purely speculation.

I see the Killi fans are not too happy with Jones, some say he should never play for their club again. Surely they must realise that the lad has done nothing wrong, he came for nothing and he’s leaving for nothing, he got himself the move to Rangers with his play, but that’s football, some win some lose, Rangers have lost many a time themselves.

I think he was more annoyed at part at the end of his post. Probably not the best thing to post however as someone says all clubs can benefit from the pre contract situation as I’m sure Kilmarnock have.

Very pleased with the business done so far, both these guys are starting 11 signings. Hopefully we can be more consistent now with just the league to focus on for a while should we take care of Cowdenbeath. I’d go strong for that match and try to galvanise the momentum from the last match. Maybe a chance for 4-4-2 with Morelos and Defoe up top. Still hopeful that Mark Allan and Gerrard have a rabbit in the hat!

I see Brentford have put a price in excess of 20 million on Maupay as other championship ship clubs circle.
Therefore we should not be looking at less than 15 million for Alf, whether he is worth that or not is not the debate.
If Aberdeen want 7 million plus for a young defender surely a high goal scoring striker is worth much more.
Reserve players in England, i. e. solanke 19 million and odoi, 35 million . So hold out.

I must say, I think that's the Defoe signing just kicked in, I now realise just what a player he is! His career has been epic and to think we have managed to bring him in!
I am old enough to remember him throughout his career and in recent years I remember wishing he would play for us, like so many players down south, yes he is 36 but I still think his hunger and fight will still be very much alive, AND he'll have a point to prove to Eddie Howe so in very excited off the league to kick back off again and see what he's going to bring 😍.

Genuinely hope i'm wrong but really unconvinced with defoe signing and bar an english league cup win has won nothing in his career. Despite being so called world class striker he's been passed about spurs and portsmouth like the town bike and his goal scoring record is not that great.
Dont get me wrong he will score goals for us but nowhere near as many as some think and for the probable out lay not worth ut for me.

Chin up Rab. He hasn't even played a game for us yet! He has scored plenty down south. It's relatively low risk (he's only on loan) . I am genuinely interested to see how he does up here. I've read stuff from down south, saying he'll break records in our league. Hope so. let's wait and see.
