New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Sadiq put this photo on his instagram story and blacked out the destination for his flight, just a hunch but i’m guessing he’s heading for the famous and will most likely be announced in the next

Never thought I'd say this again, it's been a good number of years since this has happened but. I'm actually excited for the start of the season again.

The past few years it's been "Here we go again" and although I've always supported Rangers I'd probably fell out of love with watching the games and football in general because of it.

With Ally, Warburton and most recently Caixinha as much as I've tried it's been so hard to care as much as I used to, the brand of football was average at best, often it seemed the players went into games half-heartedly while taking pretty hefty wages and not to mention all the other BS surrounding our club it's been incredibly demoralizing.

While the off field BS isn't totally finished our team looks better than it has in many years and the brand of football (so far) is looking good.

I'm excited for the new season and I hope many other Gers fans in a similar place that I am feel the same way and we can start pushing on and challenging on all fronts.

Lets Go!

Your post regarding last three managers and your disillusionment I can concur with but I notice you didn't mention board. IMO it was board who put Ally way out of depth and breadman and Caxhina in place to our detriment. You could say SG is marketing ploy but at least he is getting backed with cash and a team who want to play for unlike breadman or Caxhina. But I still question board in placing last two arses in positions of such importance causing Rangers to waste for number of years.

First of all Warburton was tipped to become a top manager and was seen as a major coup that we got him. It did start well but his arrogance and inexperience proved his downfall. Pedro was a charmer. He talked his way into the job and this is the only appointment I blame the board for. Warburton was a safe choice, Pedro was a gamble.
Gerrard is an even bigger gamble but at this point a gamble worth taking.

10 Jul 2018 11:30:00
Agree Colster. When we appointed Warburton he was regarded as one of the top 5 young managers in England. He wrecked his own career due to stubborness and an inability to change his tactics. All he had to do was come up with a plan B for when plan A didn't work. But he was too arrogant to do that. Pedro was a gamble, it didn't pay off. Onwards and upwards. Finally looks like we have a manager who is prepared to move mountains to be a success and for whom failure simply isn't an option. I was 50/ 50 about SG to start but he's impressed me so far. Strengthened in areas we needed to strengthen and given a few players a kick up the arse. Looking forward to the new season. Let's go!

10 Jul 2018 11:45:57
I have to agree with the Gerrard appointment being a gamble. As a realist, I am fearful that the Gerrard revolution will be a slightly more expensive version of the Ally revolution. Two untried coaches (yes I know Ally was weaned in to the job, but still untried) and the solution being to throw money at them. We watched decent players going backwards under Ally. I hope the same is not on the cards.

10 Jul 2018 19:21:35
@Miller

I didn't want to really go into it with the board as my post was a pretty long wall of text already so kinda lumped that in as "Other BS surrounding the club" I suppose.

09 Jul 2018 19:04:39
Wish I was in adeje I love it there. What a day inside a house all day scraping wood chip (worst job ever REALLY ) sliced into my thumb with a sharp knife took forever to stop bleeding when I finished got in the car and sat on my sun glasses fking good ones too, came out of Asda and my play bag burst and amongst the beans and bread was my cooked chicken Rollin slang the ground beans on toast tonight me thinks. As the saying goes things can only get better. Still smiling tho because I don't just support Rangers I love Rangers. c'mon us.

09 Jul 2018 19:33:51
Nothing can put us in a downer right now mate. We are all passengers on the Gerrard submarine. A post from a member of the revolution!

09 Jul 2018 20:58:11
Brilliant Robbie C, and you know what, if tomorrow turns out equally bad we will still feel that warm glow and be smiling tomorrow night.

09 Jul 2018 17:54:42
Evening all. should we get through the 1st round of qualifiers then the 2nd round I will be in adeje, Tenerife on holiday, anyone know if there are any bars that will be showing the game? cheers.

09 Jul 2018 18:45:13
Forfar bear Union bar adeje shows all gers games and also has rangers TV enjoy .

09 Jul 2018 19:47:26
Forfar Bear. Ibrox Bar In San Eugenio is the place. 10 mins walk up from seafront.

09 Jul 2018 20:07:12
Cheers lads, much appreciated

09 Jul 2018 22:38:32
Forfar Bear you can go meet Ally Tough in the Ibrox bar. Went on the True Blues bus for years

10 Jul 2018 07:54:58
Forfar Bear, I meant to say Georgie Mac at the Ibrox Bar (the boss) is brilliant. He orchestrates the pre-match singing which is fantastic. A great bar for true Gers fans!

09 Jul 2018 17:22:10
Im on holiday and met and spoke with Sean Hessey. For those who haven't heard of him, he played for Liverpool, had 5 years at Killie. He was at Liverpool same time as SG and still keeps in touch with him. SG mentioned his excitement and desire to succeed at Rangers. Sean also mentioned he ran the London marathon in aid of Chris Boyds charity . A really genuine chap who wished Rangers all the best.

09 Jul 2018 19:51:15
Goalie what did he do at Liverpool sing songs. His career resume shows no time spent at Liverpool and was at Killie a nano second

09 Jul 2018 21:32:25
Jboy, he told me he was at Liverpool, I suggest you google Sean Hessey. This will confirm this.

09 Jul 2018 22:11:34
Goalie I did no mention of Liverpool. Soz did spend five years at Killie. Fithty games

10 Jul 2018 00:16:09
Never at Liverpool in his career your on t

09 Jul 2018 15:57:40
Hi guys,

I have been happy with the moves we have made so far in the transfer market. We still have a few to move on I imagine. i'd like to see these guys on the way out:

Fods, Hodson, Alves, Cardoso, Halliday, Forrester and Herrera.

This would leave us a bit more room in wages.

We need (IMO) at least 1 more CB, 1 more AM and 2 strikers.

09 Jul 2018 15:23:28
Must be a slow sports news day Joe Hart? why would we sign MxGregor and Joe Hart can't see either settling as a number 2
John Terry, maybe half season contract but can't see it happening think he'd still attract a fair wedge of cash even at his age
Interested to see what happens over next 48 hours if we indeed get Sadiq and Couilbally in time for Europa league registration or if the Defoe rumours are true.

09 Jul 2018 17:30:13
I’d rather have Terry Hatcher than John Terry.

09 Jul 2018 17:47:11
Just noticed Sadiq only has a year left on his Roma contract, so if we get him on a season loan then he will be out of contract at the end of this season and we will get him for free!

09 Jul 2018 14:07:47
Would love to see us get Ryan Kent on loan then offer him a pre contract in January, he's not good enough for Liverpool but could do a job for us, he can play left right or centre midfield and has good shot power from outside the box, something we lack in general thoughts anyone.

09 Jul 2018 15:41:39
Agreed, I think he would flourish up here and provide more opportunities for morelos, plus if he turned out good then we'd possibly have the opportunity to sign him on a free

09 Jul 2018 16:35:32
Yes Canderside would Def take Ryan Kent, watched a lot of videos of him, a very direct and skilful player again with good sell on potential .

09 Jul 2018 13:59:18
All I can say is. no thanks joe Hart!

09 Jul 2018 15:05:55
Why jo hart we got fods mcgregor n alwick don't need another

09 Jul 2018 15:40:04
Exactly mate, I saw online that rangers and the dark side will battle it out for his signature but do we even want him? Not a chance

09 Jul 2018 17:25:29
Totally agree, don't want or need Joe Hart. To be honest i think its a bluff.

09 Jul 2018 18:04:28
Let Celtic have him he is utter gash

09 Jul 2018 21:46:49
Worst rumour of the transfer window.

09 Jul 2018 11:50:35
I see Keith Jackson is back on having a dig at Dave King again. It's interesting to see him use the phrase "False dawn". I've never heard anyone but septic supporters use this phrase. I usually don't even read this drivel as I believe we're all hardened to it now but just a clear observation.

You will not draw attention away from the revolution buddy. let's GO!

09 Jul 2018 13:43:34
G Unit, you don't recognise the term "False dawn" as a fair representation of many parts of the last six years, really? I could probably list about thirty times when you have all thought it was changing for the better.

09 Jul 2018 18:07:16
Gazo do you recognise the word ‘obsession’. Good to see your lot flapping up and down our country. Stevie Gee baby! Read it and weep

09 Jul 2018 18:16:24
Gazo the only thing that hasn’t changed in the last 6 years is the amount of smelly mhankies who come on here with their doomsday dates shifting from season to season. We are still here and always will be.

09 Jul 2018 19:01:50
Totally agree colster! . how many times over last season have we had the unwashed tell us that we're on the road out. we have no money etc. is it just me that smells the desperate fear that someone's time is coming to an end!? Let's go!

09 Jul 2018 19:50:26
They are like the wee burd in wizard of oz. If the say it a million times then they’ll end up back in Dublin along with all the other goblins🤓

10 Jul 2018 01:57:00
Keith Jackson is second rate journo who knows King is always a story from numerous angles and even you commenting here means he has won. If nobody comments nor cares Rebel will either drop Jackson or interest In King.

09 Jul 2018 10:35:00
The best thing about definitely coming ( if he does ) is that he would be able to show Morelos how to put the ball in the net day in day out at training and pass on everything he knows about playing up front which Morelos needs ie his mentor.

09 Jul 2018 18:00:33
Fair point Albertz, eh . . . don't suppose you still have your boots lol

09 Jul 2018 10:02:23
What about Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic he is a decent don’t think he will be in the Liverpool main squad most likely to get loaned out and since we have first refusal.

I think he would do the business up here

Opinions guys.?

09 Jul 2018 12:21:43
We don't have first refusal on all Liverpool players who will go out on loan. We have first refusal on the ones Liverpool are willing to send to the SPFL.

09 Jul 2018 12:43:57
I would rather it be us than them. If Klopp wants to send wilson, solanke up here then 55 is on its way

09 Jul 2018 13:01:29
He would be unreal signing. can't see it though

09 Jul 2018 13:34:11
What's the score going to be on the 12th then lads. i'm going for 4-0

09 Jul 2018 19:12:49
169-0😁😁

09 Jul 2018 19:51:51
5 nil Middleton Morelos x2 Murphy Arfield

10 Jul 2018 04:14:46
Am unsure if Liverpool wanna send their youth and second string up here to get the #### kicked out of them at Forfar and Arbroath sub standard pitches. This might just prove the gulf between ours and their football.

Review Of The Day 9th July 2018

09 Jul 2018 06:23:12
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 9th July 2018

09 Jul 2018 05:01:52
Rangers should bid 4.5 Million for Mcginn he will not agree personal terms anyway but a bluff tug of war with us and THEM should put the price up if hibs get flustered by the rangers bid we can pull out at the last minute anyway the point is THAT TEAM pay 5 million or more for a 4th placed SPL team 😂😂😂.

09 Jul 2018 07:19:22
Why would we want to strengthen hibs? 2 mil won't make 1 bit of difference to the mhankies!

09 Jul 2018 08:08:00
I'd forget about McGinn. Overrated and eats too many pies

09 Jul 2018 09:48:33
I think we should concentrate on our own targets and players that want to play for our club. It’s not the school playground mate.

09 Jul 2018 12:05:27
McCrorie will play DM and he won't cost us a penny.
Also we have Ryan Jack.

09 Jul 2018 19:05:10
Copland! your spot on. mccrorie will prove to be far better than mcginn given a priority role in the team. have to say I also think Jack has something to contribute! . If rossiter can get fit he'll be the best of the lot
