Witout stirring up all the old stuff, what would your reaction be to Rangers signing a Eire international? Personally I don't care who wears the Hoops as long as they do the business on the park. Although I was glad to see Roy and Robbie Keane play for Celtic. Clubs need a base of players that care about the club, but after that sign anyone that improves the team. Isn't Kirk Broadfoot a Celtic supporter or was in his youth (not 100% sure if it is him or Wittaker (sp). Sensible answers only, like I said I'm not starting a riot over it lol

Who says the wage bill has to be cut by £1 million?

Ally McCoist himself said the wage bill would be getting reduced by £1m this summer.

And whoever said we would be signing Chris Baird and Sebastien Pocognoli on pre contracts, well guess again. They are under contract to Fulham and Standard Liege until 2013 and 2014 respectively.

A big rumour i'm hearing is Craig Conway on a free. And another is a swap deal between Rangers and West Brom, involving Graham Dorrans and Steve Davis

I thought I'd give it week before I posted about the last old firm match, which compared to the 80's and 90's was pretty timid.

What I can't stand is the media and politicians reaction to this. . . Reports of 30 arrests, and increase of domestic violence. Do we have any statistics from Strathclydes Finest of how many arrests are usually made during old firm matches?

Do we have any Stats on Domestic violence for any other day of the week, cause as far as I'm concearned a wife beater is a wife beater and it doesn't take a F**kin old firm match to light that match, and make a scum bag beat his partner.

Couldn't agree more mate, alcohol is a bigger problem in Scotland than an Old Firm match. Women will be sitting every saturday night terrified of what is going to happen when their man comes home. How many of the wife beaters were under the influence of alcohol, and that will be their excuse. Fukn disgrace to accuse either club of being associated with this nonsense, once they leave the stadium the club can't stop him doing anything. I bet there were more supporters shaking their heads at the antics of both clubs than the rats who used it as an excuse to kick fuk out their mrs. Patheteic.

This summit and all the hullabulloo, seems to coincide with the massive cuts that are happening with the police force. As usual it's all to do with money, i read something in one of the papers about a bust up in an old firm game in 1971, it was almost identical, the poster below is right, if there was no football these cowards would still beat their women up, i just do not see the connection between football and domestic abuse, i may be wrong but surely it has more to do with the individual and alcohol, anyway i am sick of it all and i'm away on holiday, hope it's all to do with football again soon.

Amazing to think that this team last year Kris Boyd we were all desperate to keep Boyd and look at him now. You are right if he had stayed he would have been a true legend. He's gone and I wouldn't have him back (unless he took a massive pay cut and accepted he was third choice)
