After pulling up moshni and Boyd (not proven) for some handbags a t dawn stuff, it will be interesting to see how consistent the compliance officer stays throughout the rest of the season with his judgements

That was my thinking too jg. it seems our relationship has not moved on with the sfa over the last 5 years. it was a nothing situation, where no player was more guilty or innocent than the other, yet only one player has to answer, surprise surprise, a ranger player. total joke when you watch the incident between wenger and jose at the weekend, yet in england it was laughed at, and everyone moves on. unfort. we have bigger problems to deal with at the moment, but if it was the right time i would remove every player at every level from representing the sfa until there was a satisfactory outcome !!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Remove every player from every level? What are you talking about? Surely you can't expect the club to tell a player he can't play for his country because of a fued between the club and SFA? Is that really what your saying?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, that's what i'm saying, the club pays the wages, they are there employer, the club should excpect loyalty and understanding from all its employees on this running feud, which we seem to find ourselves in with the sfa. sometimes you have to make a stand, and do things you don't like to. we have a serious deep running issue with the sfa which if not addressed now could lead to more petty actions aginst our club, and its players, once its addressed then we will co operate fully with the sfa at all levels !!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant thinking. Make Rangers even less attractive for potential players by telling them they can't play for their national side, while very possibly reducing the value of current players due to no international exposure, not to mention cut off the chance of occasional extra revenue such as tomorrows international against Georgia.

Good luck Scotland btw and hopefully all the bears attending will enjoy the game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im sorry but your talking nonsense in my opinion You can't ask players not to play for there country because of a fued with the SFA. For some players playing for there country is the biggest honour they could have so to ask them to give it up just doesn't make sense. Also our young stars playing for the under 17s and the under 21s against better players (holland england etc) is good for us and good for the players development. Its never going ti happen anyway we will never withhold our players from the national team anyway so a pointless arguement and pointless discussion

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross01 - a pointless argument and discussion which you felt obliged to answer twice !!! your talking as if i this would be forever, the threat of it, for a period of time or until a solution was sought and won would be enough. the club can't and should not be used by our fa or anyone else to make any point !!!

I suggest you stick to blowing your horn little boyblue.

Agree0 Disagree0

The whole sorry tale from craig whyte to the present has been one of greed lies deceit and double dealing not one othe following list can ever be trusted whyte green easdales ashley and king as far as the u o f and macoist they have doffed there caps to every one of them we cannot even all pull together to save the club from extinction because make no mistake unless soething concrete happens in the next few months that's how it will pan out

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesn't matter wiether or not rangers told the scottish players that they could not play for scotland ffs none of them have been called up for years

Agree0 Disagree0

BOYBLUE its a chat website therefor i am chating on it mate get a grip of yourself

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross01 youve got it wrong mate any club can stop there players from representing there country ;the club pay there wages end of

Agree0 Disagree0

At what point did i say the club couldn't stop the players playing for scotland????? What i said was they SHOULDNT as its nonsense and doesn't make any sense. Read before you comment Tmwtn

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross01 i know what you said and just so as you know what i said i will repeat myself ;its up to the club wiether the players turn out for there country i know the players would like a call up but club could block it as they pay the wages that's all i was stating

Agree0 Disagree0

Ross01 it happened all the time players pull out from international games then play for there club team days later i remember the sfa or english fa spoke about brining in a law that if player pulled out of international game through injury they shouldn't be allowed to play for club ;i don't know if it was ever implimented maybe ed could put us wide to it

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - there are rules now and the national team are allowed to have their medical team assess the injury to check it is real.}

Ed cheers in responce to my post at 14 i wasnt sure if a law was put in place as i seem to remembers some managers saying the could be fit 2 or 3 days after withdrawing through injury probably trying to fight there corner but its a fair rule imo

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - it is certainly a better way, Giggs would have certainly had a lot more caps for Wales if it had been in place sooner!}

Please someone explain to me when i said the club couldn't stop the players playing????? i nvere said anything like that i said they SHOULDNT!!!!!! Jesus man read the posts before you try and have a go at me.

Wouldn't it be funny if Mike Ashley was secretly a Rangers supporter! lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed039's Note - He would then turn out to be the top of a long line of "Rangers men" who turned a profit by having the clubs best interest at heart)

Doiger and every body that wants to see what mike ashley is all about should clik over to the cro and that will show rangers supporters why this man mike ashley should never be allowed near ibrox nor rangers fc or anything else to do with rangers fc

Agree0 Disagree0

That was a joke. We must keep our sense of humour!

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger i knew it was a joke mate but i was telling people not to be fooled with all this [ashley would be good for rangers]ime not sure of how how to start my own comments [post] so when i post things like i did its the only way i know of how to put my point across i hope you can make sense of what ime meaning

Agree0 Disagree0

Doiger he might be like whyte a rangers supporter from birth lol remember that weasel having the cheek to make that comment pffft

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwtn. OK mate, I do understand where you are coming from. I'd rather see King, Murray & Latham come in with big bucks. Ashley is a good businessman but he isn't interested in Newcastle on the pitch and would be the same with Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

You both are correct about ashley he wouldn't be intrested in us on the pitch however if he did take over he would make us stable and would want us to be playing in the champions league. Ashley is a man who buys distressted Brands and nurses them back to were they should be. In our case he would make us a force in scottish fiootball again make a fortune from shirt sales merchandise and the sell his shares for 75p each when we are back at the top!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would hope Ashley could bring us stability as long as it is long term. It has been sickening seeing all these characters linked with power at Rangers and I know it's the way of the business world but Ashley isn't going to be struggling for his next meal or King and the members of the board, so it would be nice to know exactly why they want a piece of Rangers, when they don't need it themselves. If we knew it was someone who wanted what was best for the club and had the money that would be great, King would be the one for that category but no one knows with anyone. if only these people were forced to make statements and explain their true feelings.

Some sense in the Daily Celt today (for a change) why don't Ashley and King work together? This would be great if they could find that common ground but I think too much water has gone under the bridge, unless they see the light like the way they came forward this week and realise time is running out and they open communication to co-operate with each other with a view to moving the club forward.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never going to happen unfortunatley johns as kings decisisons would be made on what's best for Rangers but ashlayes wouldn't simple as that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kin latham and murray are rangers through and through with red white and blue blood just like the rest of us so that will do for me and lots of others

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope those 3 are the ones to take control.

So Mike Ashley wanted rights on Rangers badge. Money is what motivates him and the further he is kept away from our club the better. Only problem is the sheisters from Greenock are in bed with him and the chances of Ashley taking over and filling his pockets with cash seem likely.
I genuinely fear for the future of Rangers and if anyone can put a positive spin on Ashley's involvement please do.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

PB1, Difficult to be positive about our current predicament, but if Ashley wants profits Rangers must be playing at the highest levels, successfully. The situation developing can only damage us, possibly terminally. That cannot suit Ashley, so there must be a compromise somewhere. Maybe he would settle for the profits from the product sales, if the other 'interested parties' could successfully negotiate a package to save the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only way to show these people they are not wanted is to totally boycott the club until they get to feck these guys are interested in money only

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree total boycot I started my own after the Hibs game and I'm buying no merchandice either, fed up, there is only so much you can take every day for years bad news, I've booked a week end away for xmas with the money I'll save,
