After pulling up moshni and Boyd (not proven) for some handbags a t dawn stuff, it will be interesting to see how consistent the compliance officer stays throughout the rest of the season with his judgements
JG
That was my thinking too jg. it seems our relationship has not moved on with the sfa over the last 5 years. it was a nothing situation, where no player was more guilty or innocent than the other, yet only one player has to answer, surprise surprise, a ranger player. total joke when you watch the incident between wenger and jose at the weekend, yet in england it was laughed at, and everyone moves on. unfort. we have bigger problems to deal with at the moment, but if it was the right time i would remove every player at every level from representing the sfa until there was a satisfactory outcome !!!
Remove every player from every level? What are you talking about? Surely you can't expect the club to tell a player he can't play for his country because of a fued between the club and SFA? Is that really what your saying?
Yes, that's what i'm saying, the club pays the wages, they are there employer, the club should excpect loyalty and understanding from all its employees on this running feud, which we seem to find ourselves in with the sfa. sometimes you have to make a stand, and do things you don't like to. we have a serious deep running issue with the sfa which if not addressed now could lead to more petty actions aginst our club, and its players, once its addressed then we will co operate fully with the sfa at all levels !!!
Brilliant thinking. Make Rangers even less attractive for potential players by telling them they can't play for their national side, while very possibly reducing the value of current players due to no international exposure, not to mention cut off the chance of occasional extra revenue such as tomorrows international against Georgia.
Good luck Scotland btw and hopefully all the bears attending will enjoy the game.
Im sorry but your talking nonsense in my opinion You can't ask players not to play for there country because of a fued with the SFA. For some players playing for there country is the biggest honour they could have so to ask them to give it up just doesn't make sense. Also our young stars playing for the under 17s and the under 21s against better players (holland england etc) is good for us and good for the players development. Its never going ti happen anyway we will never withhold our players from the national team anyway so a pointless arguement and pointless discussion
Ross01 - a pointless argument and discussion which you felt obliged to answer twice !!! your talking as if i this would be forever, the threat of it, for a period of time or until a solution was sought and won would be enough. the club can't and should not be used by our fa or anyone else to make any point !!!

I suggest you stick to blowing your horn little boyblue.
The whole sorry tale from craig whyte to the present has been one of greed lies deceit and double dealing not one othe following list can ever be trusted whyte green easdales ashley and king as far as the u o f and macoist they have doffed there caps to every one of them we cannot even all pull together to save the club from extinction because make no mistake unless soething concrete happens in the next few months that's how it will pan out
It doesn't matter wiether or not rangers told the scottish players that they could not play for scotland ffs none of them have been called up for years
BOYBLUE its a chat website therefor i am chating on it mate get a grip of yourself
Ross01 youve got it wrong mate any club can stop there players from representing there country ;the club pay there wages end of
At what point did i say the club couldn't stop the players playing for scotland????? What i said was they SHOULDNT as its nonsense and doesn't make any sense. Read before you comment Tmwtn
Ross01 i know what you said and just so as you know what i said i will repeat myself ;its up to the club wiether the players turn out for there country i know the players would like a call up but club could block it as they pay the wages that's all i was stating
Ross01 it happened all the time players pull out from international games then play for there club team days later i remember the sfa or english fa spoke about brining in a law that if player pulled out of international game through injury they shouldn't be allowed to play for club ;i don't know if it was ever implimented maybe ed could put us wide to it
{Ed001's Note - there are rules now and the national team are allowed to have their medical team assess the injury to check it is real.}
Ed cheers in responce to my post at 14 i wasnt sure if a law was put in place as i seem to remembers some managers saying the could be fit 2 or 3 days after withdrawing through injury probably trying to fight there corner but its a fair rule imo
{Ed001's Note - it is certainly a better way, Giggs would have certainly had a lot more caps for Wales if it had been in place sooner!}
Please someone explain to me when i said the club couldn't stop the players playing????? i nvere said anything like that i said they SHOULDNT!!!!!! Jesus man read the posts before you try and have a go at me.
