If Jelavic was out for the old firm I would still think Rangers would beat celtic , he's not a 1 man team agree if you agree

Believable10 Unbelievable8

I hate the 'one man team' speech! One guy doesn't make a team but 'one guy' can make a difference! Look at Barca (hypothetically) without Messi. They would still be top quality but wouldn't be invincible at all.

bears this is a good find on the boy from argentina i know its only clips but the rest of the team seem to want to give him the ball (i wont even begin to compare him to the god that was " Laudrup " but he can keep the ball in a similiar way and can make u cutting pass good pace and touch. if it is possible to keep him with beaties wage, then get him to adjust to the scottish mentality because thats what it will be this saeson with no european games :( give him a bit of time he looks and stress looks like a valuable player for our team, someone who makes you sit up that wee bit at games when hes got the ball (something thats been lacking for a few years, even when we had vlad last season he didnt play that often) just hope it all pans out in our favour for a change. depressed listening and reading all the doom and gloom about our famous club. only us guys can get behind the team on matchdays and put the board room struggles to the backburner for a bit. well first time poster in here and thot i had to say something. in the Gaffer we trust WATP.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Unless you live in Argentina that is a very kind assessment on the trialist. How do you know all the boys want to pass the ball to him? I hope the boy is a cracker but it's daft judging him just now at this early stage!

As i said just going with the link i saw 15 mins worth what i saw in most clips he likes to push on from the halfway line forward at pace and alot of the play went through him

You know, there is a person responding to posts on here who thinks that snide sarcastic replys to them is very funny or very clever or both. Obviously a Celtic fan and always in the same almost cowardly fashion.

The guy never leaves a name and its always a one liner like

That counts you out.

You need spell check

Or what was that you said about Celtic.

If he replys to your post then shame him because after all he is acting in the Celtic way.

Oranjeboom

Believable2 Unbelievable3

If he replys to a post how do you shame him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Shame on you mate. Leave a name and get a sense of humour.

Agree0 Disagree1

Funny that whenever someone says anything on here some people don't like, they must be a Celtic fan. Or when someone makes a wee joke at Rangers' expense, they must be a Celtic fan. There are supporters of other clubs who like to indulge in banter but obviously many on here who just can't take it and are paranoid. It could also be Rangers fans who have a sense of humour and are realistic about the state of the club.

Take the blinkers off, lighten up and drop the paranoia - after all, it's always been Rangers fans accusing Celtic fans of being paranoid. Pot, kettle?

Agree2 Disagree0

Bet your a Celtic fan

Oranjeboom

Agree0 Disagree1

Bet I'm not. Bet you think everyone who makes points or jokes about Rangers you don't like is one though. Bet you have a massive paranoid chip on your shoulder. Bet you don't like me for saying this.

Bet you I don't care and I'm laughing at you.

The Bookie

Agree1 Disagree0

Well its true what they say, you can`t beat the bookie.

Agree2 Disagree0

Mate, its a banter page. I just go fishing, can't help it if people take the bait. At least you got a name sorted. Nice to see that. Keep it coming, remember its just all banter.

We are the people

Oranjeboom

Agree0 Disagree1

I'm not the original poster (check with the eds of you must). Just thought I'd make a salient point about some Rangers fans assuming all those they disagree with are Celtic fans. I support neither of the Old Firm, if you must know, and find their constant squabbling and paranoia quite pathetic.

Yes i agree dont think he is defensive material. quick and strong good winger.

Good afternoon Ed. Do you no what's going on with young Darren Cole? I haven't herd much of him recently? {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out, he has dropped back into the reserves but he is expected to have a future at the club. I believe a loan bid was knocked back from Sheffield United, that is, I am told who they actually wanted to take on loan initially.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye I'd take him at Celtic like. Thought either we or you guys might've made made a move for him as he was a standout all season for Motherwell but fair play to Hearts they got in there early which is pretty much why I reckon he ended up there rather than the OF. Don't know why their new manager doesn't rate him.

See Rangers back in court today over unpaid law bill. You bears one of our ex directors Hugh Adam warned about all this years ago. I hear talk of the Rangers fans will do what the Celtic fans did under Fergus McCann, and buy shares in the club. Mr Adam says that when they tried it in 2002 only 3000 fans responded. He clearly states that Rangers THINK they are a global club but they are not. They may have a big fan base in scotland but Celtic have huge Irish,American,Australian,Canadian,South African fan base which is why they easily raised the money they needed. NO rangers share issue will succeed today either. I fear administration is looming. Please dont shoot the messenger, read Mr Adam,s Thoughts and this from an Ibrox insider. Wee Bud

Believable3 Unbelievable5

I have never read as much sh--e in all my life that i have supported Rangers I have been in various parts of the World and have seen a lot of Rangers fan bases in these parts more than that mankey mob you support now away back to that planet you came from cause your certainly tuned to the moon.

Im pretty sure mr mcadam's words were taken from an interview from 2004 or somewhere like that.

Agree1 Disagree0

I posted about this the other day.Saddens me to read and see the way the club I love is being dragged down by this charlatan Whyte.Mr McCoist will be made the scapegoat and lose a lot of his own personal credibility,we know this is hurting Ally and he is starting to look tense/worried.To read about lawyers not being paid,Mr Bain taking us to court and the impending taxcase makes for a dire outlook for us.Hopefully we can come to some agreement with HMRC to allow some money to be released,as let's be honest, the signings were a total disappointment to what the CHAMPIONS should be buying.I've been following GLASGOW RANGERS for over 30years and will follow them the rest of my days. These are dark times for us but we THE PEOPLE have came through tough times before and I am sure we will again.Lets not bury our heads in the sand,we know there are serious financial problems at the club,we should be able to discuss them without getting shot down for having a different spin on things. We will come through this,I assure you of that but it is going to be a long hard slog and the true fans will accept these problems, help to deal with them and keep backing the club on and off the field. Not discussing these problems isn't going to make them go away.I wish some of my fellow BEARS on here would grow up and allow adults to voice their concern over OUR club, admitting problems is the only way to find a solution.Sorry for the rant but I have only recently found the site and was astonished by the way some RANGERS supporters are failing to accept that this is a time when OUR CLUB needs our support. Here is a link to Hugh Adams piece, another TRUE BLUE that the glory hunting fans chose to ignore while THE GERS were being ran into the ground. Thanks ed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Hamilton, yes if you tell the truth on here, you are accused of being a tim or a traitor, but all these issues need to be addressed and the idiots calling people names are the ones who will drag the club even further down, read what Mr Adam had to say, then think what Mr Bain and some of the old board said when Whyte took over. Wee Bud

Agree0 Disagree0

Havent gers agreed to pay the solicitors fees? Somewhat negates your whole argument somewhat.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers paid, AFTER the deadline and it went back to court, it was the JUDGE who told Rangers dire consequances would follow if bill not paid. I read the court transcript. Rangers ARE in financial trouble and its time all you fans realised it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks very much Wee Bud.Even look at the second reply,we know it was paid but should legal action have been required for it to be paid? Our great club, THE CHAMPIONS are in dire trouble,of that there is no question.Do we just sit and pretend it isn't and let them beat us down,or do we stand as one voice and back OUR CLUB,show them that THE CHAMPIONS will never be kept down no matter if there is millions or not,it may take some time but we will always be the CHAMPIONS in my heart and in my head.As fellow BEARS we should be discussing the facts we know, and encouraging the less patient among us to back THE GERS.What can happen? We could encourage these doubters that we will get there, explain the facts to them and let them ask questions without accusations of being against the club. Our club,THE CHAMPIONS needs us all more than ever.I am not scaremongering, just trying to get people to realise the truth. The time for denial has passed and the time to regroup and carry on is upon us.If you aren't prepared to listen to facts that are there for all to see, basically you don't really have RANGERS best interests at heart. This is very real and we need to address the issues that are staring us square in the face.

Rangers Team Saturday without Jelavic

McGreggor

Whittaker, Bocanegra, Goian, Papac

Bedoya, Davis, Edu, McKay

Naismith

Lafferty

If Goian is out Perry will need to play at CB. If Lafferty isn't fit then Naismith needs to play up front with McKay playing behind, and Wylde coming into LM.
If Papac is out Bocanegra will probably play at LB and a make shift central defence will have to be played instead.

Team for Dundee Utd

(4-4-2): McGregor; Whittaker, Goian, Bocanegra, Papac; Bedoya, Davis, Edu, Wylde; Naismith, Jelavic.

Subs. Alexander, Broadfoot, Fleck, McKay, Healy, Perry, Ortiz

Veterans Davie Weir and Lee McCulloch are still unfit and are joined on the sidelines by defenders Lee Wallace and Kyle Bartley, though the former is hopeful of being fit for next week’s visit by the great unwashed. After missing both last week’s Northern Ireland matches, striker Kyle Lafferty must also be doubtful for the visit to Tannadice

On today about the matt mckay debate from yesterday 1 guys reply talks about feeling sorry for kyle hutton. I think u are corrcect in feeling sorry for the boy but matt mckay is a completely different player from hutton were I feel sorry for huton is the dimwit brothers ie mcculloch & edu get to start before him, mckay on the other hand as you say can pass, tackle, score goals his movement is great and I can guarantee all the bears out there in bear world his delivery from set pieces is excellent so 2 the guy who made original post that stays in australia don't worry about the people who post on this site as most of them are thick as a concrete floor when it comes 2 discussing football players ie the guy who is comparing hutton with mckay
