Has the Rangers logo changed at the top of the page ?

Believable11 Unbelievable2

The logo on the Celtic forum has changed also.

TTG {Ed001's Note - the rules regarding copyright have changed, we had to change all the logos or pay each club money every year for the use of their badge.}

Quite frankly, Paul, I do not believe anything that is written about the Sevco/Rangers brand.

Would any of us have thought in January, that they would be where they are today WITHOUT any 'interference' from the EBT issue?

Just who in their right mind would be investing in Sevco/Rangers at this juncture, and why would they be investing?

Rangers fans refused to put their hands in their pockets when the club was 'flying high' in the top-tier with regular access to Europe; so why on earth is there any confidence that they will invest now?

I have said before that I do not believe that Sevco/Rangers will last out this season, I am still of that belief.

Believable28 Unbelievable12

Good post it really makes you wonder .a bit like same old same old the leader speaks and the fans follow follow pardon the pun , but in reality when are the rangers fans actually going to take ownership of their club for too long you have been led up the garden path and you seem quite happy to go there again

Agree16 Disagree15

Op if you ain't a rangers fan then it's not that you can believe what is written its more like you don't want to. When Murray was trying to do a float he had already missed the boat a lot of fans were unhappy with the fact that if they invested it was only going to be used to wipe debt. Why invest when he turned round and said if no one bought he would cover it. This time is different if we invest the money will be used on building a team when we get back to the spl CG did promise 30/40mil to build a team capable of winning the spl. Now before you laugh and say if green raises that much through a floatation he will pocket it and be of. Maybe right but that's what you lot hope happen. At the end of the day he could be legit and telling the truth now all us gers fans know how much you lot would hate that to be the case see you are scared that we will be back that's why you are always on here trying to convince yourself otherwise. But hey ho see you in a couple of years

Agree11 Disagree12

We are fools for not buying into the club in the past and now we are fools for potentially buying into the club LMAO.

Literally can't win with that lot!!

Agree12 Disagree8

At this juncture in time, we have to believe what CG says as he is the owner of the club. How do you know he will not benefit Rangers in the long run, you just assuming because of Murray and Whyte did that he is the same. Let's give him a chance and see what conspires. Maybe you've got all your 12 fingers crossed hoping we will go under again and this time won't come back, It probably upset quite a few Celtic fans that we are still around.

Being a retired insolvency practitioner, I dealt with companies at the end of their lives, rather than when they were 'going'. However – and this is one for the lawyers or practising accountants on here – would the 'current' Rangers company ('Limited') not have to metamorphise to a PLC before there could be any question of a flotation/sale of shares to the public at large?

Whilst I'm on – what about the creditors – remember them?

Further – does anyone have any idea when:-
a) D&P are actually going to make their Report to the Court of Session, and
b) when the Liquidators are to be appointed?

Believable14 Unbelievable5

BDO were appointed, no?

Agree4 Disagree1

I know the source is questionable but Giovani Di Stefano says Rangers are becoming harder and harder to liquidate, when I say Rangers I mean RFC 2012.

Agree3 Disagree3

There is only one reason why the old rangers hasnt been liquidated yet someone believes there's a reason to keep it alive why I don't know you don't know the only one who knows is the person who stopped it going through. But I have a idea why just like other people will have there own ideas as why. Celtic supporters will probably want it to be so they can't get away with skipping debt. Rangers fans will probably dream it could be something else. Either way I don't think the old club is dead yet life support machine yes the drama continues lol

Agree2 Disagree4

Mr De Stefano says more than his prayers to be frank.

Agree3 Disagree1

B) BDO will be appointed when Admin complete.

Agree7 Disagree0

So does that mean D&P are still in charge of RFC? Are they still getting paid for working with, the soon to be liquidated, company?

Agree6 Disagree0

Rangers Football Club is a football club based in Glasgow, Scotland, currently playing in the Third Division of the Scottish Football League. Their home ground is the 51,082-capacity all-seater Ibrox Stadium in the south-west of the city.

Founded in 1872, Rangers were one of the ten founder members of the Scottish Football League, remaining in the top division until the end of the 2011“12 season, during which the company became insolvent and entered administration. After failing to agree a settlement with creditors, Rangers' assets, business and history were sold to a new company, to which the club's existing Scottish Football Association membership was subsequently transferred. Though an application for admittance to the Scottish Premier League was rejected, a successful application to the Scottish Football League secured Rangers a place in the Third Division for the 2012“13 season.

WE STILL OWN OUR HISTORY!
Our pathetic ex owners own the debt they ran up.
BOOM!

Agree5 Disagree12

They're no longer called Rangers football club, they were & had to get a new name because liquidation was looming, thought you would have known the name of the new team you started following this summer! L1888

Was glad to watch scotland fail yet again. Wrong team, wrong manager and wrong people running the game in this country. Levien in the papers saying they can win all 10 games! ha! What a deluded little man! That muppet should never hv bn put in charge in the 1st place, a cuple of no bad results against the old firm n he became 1st choice! Let's face it, you wouldn't even put him in charge of a pot noodle! Regan, Doncaster and Levien must go for the sake of scottish football, absaloute shambles the lot ae them! Roll on nxt wk wen these waste of time internationals are done!

Believable34 Unbelievable15

The couple before him left very quickly sfa wanted someone who would stay the course

Agree6 Disagree10

Levein is making a fool of himself and the fans. A must win game and he plays 1 up front. Serbia are a decent side no more and if Scotland have genuine ambitions to qualify for Rio then beating them was a must. Scotland will not qualify for Rio and the sooner Levein goes the better. How can he say that it will be hard for any Rangers player to make the squad while playing in the 3rd division yet play Hutton who isn't playing any club football?

Time some people got a grip of reality where Scotland are concerned. They are MINCE, the manager is MINCE, the quality of football is MINCE. Thats alot of mince.
Steven Fletcher (probably the best forward Scotland have at the mo) does not want to play for them whilst Levein is in charge. Do you blame him? See the Daily rag's sunday edition is out to character assissinate him again, because he is on holiday with his pals and Scotland are struggling.

Agree14 Disagree1

@3: like Scotland can get a manager like del Bosque.

Agree2 Disagree3

Number 3, remind me what playing and manager experience did Walter smith have before he was manager of oldco?

Agree1 Disagree7

Its Craig Levein as manager of the national team who is useless and lacks experience with the evidence to support it. Walter Smith was not under discussion. Stick to the point.

Agree6 Disagree1

This must be the only country in the world (UK not just Scotland) that comes away with, not experienced enough, not qualified etc. Germany and the like are happy to go with inexperienced managers international football has always been over-rated, i do like watching world cups, euros etc but qualifying i can take or leave.

how bad were scotland today, to all our tim girlfriends who like flirting with the FAMOUS GLASGOW RANGERS................ its no G.R.F.C. U say. it was then, it is now, and it will be forever xx

Believable25 Unbelievable26

Glad you got that off your chest? Lets wait and see what BDO say.

Agree12 Disagree6

BDO - Do they not make dart boards?

Agree4 Disagree0

Alot of tims on here are going to feel really stupid if there predictions dont pan out like BDO taking back control of rangers, making rangers change there name, whyte still involved somewhere, or ticketus waiting in the background for there money!...mark.

Agree0 Disagree2

@3: just like so many Rangers fans felt stupid when the truth about Whyte surfaced, Rangers went into admin and then liquidation? all of these were predicted by others and denied as 'timmy conspiracies' by those with their heads in the sand. It seems the sand is still covering the blue-tinted spectacles of many. Once bitten, twice shy doesn't have any relevance here, or so it seems.

anyone else think after watching yesterdays game charlie adam should not play again for scotland, hes offers nothing except maybe a decent dead ball not good enough to warrant a game for scotland, liverpool soon realised he doesnt offer much as did rangers
he has been at two big clubs in rangers and liverpool n not made the grade, hes made millions off one good season with blackpool and will continue to get over paid for that season
i hope u print this ed i know its not a rangers rumour but i know gers fans still have a view and follow ex players careers,wot do u think ed {Ed001's Note - I just think he is being badly used, the manager is more at fault than the player. Scotland can't afford to just write off talented players, there just isn't a large enough pool of them to choose between. You have to allow the better players the chance to play their game, or you may as well just give up.}

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Charlie Adam good dead ball? Did you watch the game? His corners and free kicks were shocking.

Agree13 Disagree1

I have been a member of the tartan army for a good few years now. I have to say I have never seen a bigger unorganised mess than what I watched today. I know a lot of you might slate me for being a part of it but to be honest I don't care. I am scottish and proud of it.

I hate to say this I really do but I dont think adam was the worst culperet. KENNY MILLER. A name i never thought I would never slate in rangers blue or scotland blue. He wasn't at the races today.

You have to look at this as long term and he can't be in those plans. in 2 years time will he still be number 9, I don't think so. Then again in 2 weeks time will Levein still be Manager?

I F£$%&*G hope not

Agree12 Disagree2

Correct poster he has been at 2 big clubs blackpool and liverpool

Agree4 Disagree7

Scotland & Rangers fan here - as soon as I saw the team lineup with 1 up front I knew we'd not win the game. Levein is far too cautious, to play that system you need good wingers and Morrison n Snodgrass ain't them. We were better when the subs came on (in the 81st minute ffs) what chance have we got with clueless Levein in charge

Agree9 Disagree0

Ed001, I'm not disagreeing with you. Given you are a Liverpool fan and have seen quite of bit of Adam, how do you think he should be used? {Ed001's Note - he needs to played in a free role, he was looking good for Liverpool initially, with Lucas allowing him freedom to just play. It was after Lucas suffered a season ending injury that his game suffered, he was given more defensive responsibility and it just didn't suit him. The last thing you want is him running back towards his own goal, he lacks pace, he lacks any idea of how to tackle and he lacks completely in the area of defensive positioning. Give him freedom going forward, well he is a completely different player, while he still lacks pace, he has a way of finding himself space and time to use the ball. Then you just need to provide him with some movement to find with a pass or to create space for him to move onto the edge of the box and shoot.}
