He says cash and a swap deal, he sounded pretty confident, personally i like to wait and see.

For a start he is not too good for Rangers if hes good enough for stoke hes certainly good enough for Rangers but i cant see this going through hes wanted by other premier league teams and the asking price would be 5 million which is too much for rangers.

How Much do you think Stoke would want for Mathew i reckon > 10 million. That would burst the mythical war chest

in the past 2 pre-season games we ave showed we need to get the squad players in , at halftime in both matches we were 0-0 with basically a strong squad , we Pyrrha youngsters / reserves on and we get beat , tbh a would invest a little on the squad players and a little on the first team and loan deals and this winger ( estabbabgia ) spelling , he seems class watched him in cops America and he looks a player , he ran dani Albee ragged and could do a job in spl , what you'd think ?

what about 1 year deals for pascal chimbonda and giles barnes he looked class at derby before his injury, chimbonda can play rb or ch- barnes anywere up front or the flanks? chimbonda s 32 but still a decent player and barnes is only 22-what do you guys think

They would be good signings for Rangers especially in the SPL but there is a nuber of players i have read about with no clubs or a year in there contract that we could mayby get on the cheap but ally doesnt seem to notice or does he? lol i thought about thomas hitzlesberger who just left west ham hes not a bad player atal.

I know there are some good players with out clubs that would jump at the chance to have a go at a club like ours, i think if we got barnes playing he would be worth a tidy sum in a couple of years hitzlesberger would be like albertz up here but hes on big money (was on big money)

Goodwillie deal far from a for gone conclusion expect this to rumble on for another few weeks at least but for me its as simple as paying the money would be a great addition. Weiss, £1.2million. I personally think hes overrated. Sure he is exciting and his potential but his end product lets him down but I wouldn't be disappointed if he returned. Been on before, I work for the taxi firm that Ibrox Stadium uses for everything.

Spoke to one of the staff who I get on with well, she stated Goodwillie will NOT be joining the GERS.
Barry Ferguson won't EVER be wearing the Gers Jersey again.

We currently are sitting on around about £4million for players and wages.

Rangers ins -

David Goodwillie - £1.5-2m (will be a bear next season)
Bongani Khumalo - Season loan (possible
Jake Livermore - Season loan (possible)
Carlos Cuellar - £2.35m (theres still a chance)
Kyle Bartley - Looking more likely that Wenger will ask for a transfer fee if anything.
Vlad Weiss - Still a good chance he will come back.

Rumour has it McCoist is still interested in Katlego Mphela , not available on a free anymore having signed for Mamelodi Sundowns but £100k is like £1m to the APSL. So wouldnt cost too much.

I still believe Rino Gattuso will be a Rangers player once again within the next 12months , wether its this summer (unlikely) , January(possible) or next summer (likely) , i dont know.

Rangers OUTS-

I dont see any players leaving at all.

Maybe Fleck could be involved in the Goodwillie deal , although only likely to be a loan.

I still dont know about Bougherra , hes stated every pre-season that he wants a bigger club etc etc... then retracts it and says he's staying.

Rangers have been monitoring 2 defenders closely from the Montenegro league. One is Goran Adamovic (24 year old, centre back) and the other is Slobodan Lakicevic (23 year old, defender).

Both players play in Montenegro Div 1 and have been watched a number of times by Neil Murray.

Being watched iff there any good then f***ing sign them coz we need defenders
