Many people are saying within the walls of ibrox
that they are not feeling totally confident there will be ANY football played there in the 2012-13 season.
Meanwhile a delay to the start of the league season has not been ruled out by the SFA. What a shambles.
There is so much uncertainty and so little time to fix it.

Believable40 Unbelievable8

Doubt your source but good reality check for fans who think it is a done deal to go into SFL 1 or 3. As bad as it's been, we might not have hit the bottom yet. I still think far too many think Friday will see us in SFL1 and all will be normal the season after next. Wake up and smell the s**te.

Agree21 Disagree8

Tottaly agree no gaurentee of footy nxt fingers crossed tho

Agree5 Disagree2

I agree mate folk think it will be a breeze starting from division 3 brand new squad no much of a pre season no time to gel and that's if were allowed to start this coming season, remember Regan has still to dish out punishment for contesting the transfer ban got a feeling it will be a years suspension

Agree5 Disagree4

I think if there is no football for next season the games up.

Agree7 Disagree0

There is a chance of no football but I can't see it. It may mean banging some heads togther at Hampden but it has to happen for all the reasons Regan keeps spouting.
He's doing all the wrong things but for the right reasons!

McGregor is in talks with Turkish team Besiktas. Looks like he is going to join Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd as Scottish failures in Turkey. Dont think he will last long if he does sign.

Believable32 Unbelievable23

Reality check if nothing else. He thought top teams would have been breaking his door down.

Agree20 Disagree6

Its funny how all the players that left suddenly became rubbish

Agree25 Disagree7

Naismith and mcgregor where my favourite players, i will still follow my team wherever they are playing next season but we are not the same side or club now, its hard to ever seeing it being what it once was. Green and whyte and murray you have all destroyed a foundation i hope your happy.. p.s good luck to mcgregor thought he would have been in epl next season but will always be a legend after that save against haha samaras..

Agree17 Disagree14

Good luck to him. Fantastic keeper and we'll always remember the penalty save that allowed us to win the league. And that save in Bremen en route to Manchester.

Agree23 Disagree12

Moving to turkey .cos he cant take the stick he's gonna get ,running away

Agree13 Disagree11

Sour grapes they are all a lot happier now surely thats the point of moving

Agree12 Disagree6

STV football are saying done deal (3 year contract) still subject to FIFA clearance like the other f@nnys. So he has left a club banned from playing in Europe for a team who are also banned from playing in Europe this season. His agent is a roaster. Oh Besiktas were banned from Europe for a year for failing to pay transfer fee's, players wages and tax. YOU COULD NOT MAKE THIS SH@T UP. He's a mug

Agree21 Disagree9

Why the ill feeling towards mcgregor or any of the players that left?mcgregor was at rfc for 14 years and served them well admittedly in latter stages being paid handsomely, however thats what happens at any job the better you are the more you're paid and at the end of the day these players all have familys and careers to protect just the same as us.lets be honest if what has happened to them had happened to you in your job can you honestly say you would of stayed out of blind loyalty?us fans are different we will always be with team but a cant understand how these players are all of a sudden crap or money grabbers because they have left rfc.

Agree17 Disagree9

Funny enough some of the players that left didint become rubbish ,they were rubbish ,cant say that about mcgregor ,naismith ,aluko ,davis ,doug t.s.o

Agree3 Disagree4

Good luck to all the players that have left. Do you blame them for leaving, we're not even in a league yet. They are just protecting themselves and their families. Footballers careers don't last all that long and they have to be selfish in that regard. I will never be bitter towards those players that left, thanks for the memories.

Agree12 Disagree7

I am pissed off with them for not transferring their contracts that contained release clauses which would allow them to have left the new company for roughly
33-50% of their true market value.
This would have been more of a compromise with the players being able to go to any interested party for small fee.
Theglasgowranger

Agree20 Disagree6

They pay top money in Turkey. And the weather is very nice. Watch your back though.

Agree9 Disagree0

Those players that have left contributed greatly to rangers.they took a huge cut in their salary and still gave everything for the club .they can see what lies ahead for the club and it dosen,t look good why cant you, good luck to them.

Agree5 Disagree6

Cant believe the mugs slagging off the players they were good players when u went to follow them at ibrox good luck guys after all its a new rangers rfc2012

Agree2 Disagree5

Why would a player transfer only to be sold to the highest bidder and let green decide who he plays for and what country they will live in and raise their kids if it was you would you not want to decide no contract more options

Agree1 Disagree1

Theres no doubt some players where good that have left but no 1 has left the club for a good team we will be back in europe before most of them and at the end of the day what they done is in the past we are always slaggin celtic for living in the past its our hour of need and they left

Agree3 Disagree1

"Why the ill feeling towards mcgregor or any of the players that left?"
--

Because they are the same as all the other badge kissing mercenaries.

They should have transferred over under the proviso their exit clauses were still in place, they could leave for 500k each and the club would have had money to build a new squad.

Trust me its more than ill feeling.

Spoke to the chairman of livingston this morning, he owns the butchers next door. Rangers will be put into div 1 after a vote on friday. its not in the hands of the sfl clubs.

Also, the external auditors are proceeding with court action against duff and phelps regarding the 5.5 million paid for the assets which where drastically lower than 50 million value of ibrox, training ground and car parks.

Believable14 Unbelievable40

Better read this then if your man is saying that? he may be lying.. DIRECTORS RAGING AT LEAGUE BOSSES ETC AND ARE QUOTING FOLLOWING read number (3) especially ?

FIFA’S STATUTES ON “PRINCIPLE OF PROMOTION AND RELEGATION” IN FULL

1.A club’s entitlement to take part in a domestic league championship shall depend principally on sporting merit. A club shall qualify for a domestic league championship by remaining in a certain division or by being promoted or relegated to another at the end of a season.

2.In addition to qualification on sporting merit, a club’s participation in a domestic league championship may be subject to other criteria within the scope of the licensing procedure, whereby the emphasis is on sporting, infrastructural, administrative, legal and financial considerations. Licensing decisions must be able to be examined by the Member’s body of appeal.

3.Altering the legal form or company structure of a club to facilitate its qualification on sporting merit and/or its receipt of a licence for a domestic league championship, to the detriment of the integrity of a sports competition, is prohibited. This includes, for example, changing the headquarters, changing the name or transferring stakeholdings between different clubs. Prohibitive decisions must be able to be examined by the Member’s body of appeal.

4.Each Member is responsible for deciding national issues, which may not be delegated to the Leagues. Each Confederation is responsible for deciding issues involving more than one Association concerning its own territory. FIFA is responsible for deciding international issues involving more than one Confederation.

Agree15 Disagree8

And if they are persuing Dufff& Phelps ?then its at least a year out for NEWCO as GREEN and CO will no be accepted as new owners and the whole lot will be taken back and re-sold for true value? if thats the case league will not vote due to indicision in case of true owners etc and then will re-sale club to highest bidder or sell on all assests ie Murray park etc as single entity to maxamise true value? If this scenario is happening its mothball time for NEWCO?
God can this get any worse? we are a total laughing stock, no name etc and possibly no ground? what would future bring? does anyone know? true extent of whats happening? and have league suspected this all along and that why they be takening their time on voting allowing others to work in their favour?

Agree20 Disagree12

Ha that's the worst one I've heard for a while

Agree13 Disagree6

1. External auditors guess what? they audit. They don't take you to court, they don't have the authority. so this part is crap.

2. If and when BDO are appointed (D&P still currently in charge) AFTER liquidation, not before then they will investigate.

3. D&P sold to only bidder and the money raised was better than what could have been achieved through liquidation, so there is no recourse against D&P.

4. SFL clubs (driven by fanpower) will put us in D3 on Friday, have no doubt about it. The sanctions attached to D1 membership would be too painful and promotion to SPL after a year could not be guaranteed which screws up the purpose of puting us in D1 in the first place.

Agree3 Disagree15

Forgive me if I'm being thick, but would it not be BDO's duty, rather than the external auditor.

Agree12 Disagree2

This is infact partially true. BDO the insolvency company assigned by the courts to liquidate rfc plc are entitled, and i have been told they are considering challenging d and p in the courts for the under valued sale of rfc plc assests to sevco.

Agree13 Disagree4

5.5 million was a fair price for assets of a club in the financial state that rangers were in , and as they have not been liquidated yet means they still are in the sh it so to speak surely in this position the season ticket money due tomorrow will also go into the creditors pot

Agree4 Disagree15

Load of cobblers. Ibrox and Murray park are worth more than 5.5m. Get BDO in there and get them sold to Tesco for 50m.

Agree9 Disagree6

Why would the financial state Rangers were in wipe 50million off the price of it's assets? The financial state of the owner of assets may affect the bargaining power, but given that those that were doing the bargaining (Fluff and Whelps) should have been acting in the best interest of the creditors, it seems absurd that they can sell assets for 5.5million that the figure head of the new owners, whoever they may be, and bearing in mind the newly hatched club are in even more turmoil, not even sure if they will play, that figure head reputedly values these assets now at 50million!

Now unlike all you guys I'm no financial whizkid, so I'd really appreciate you bringing me up to speed on this.

And when you are helping me out here, can you tell me if Mr Green's position on this lets you see him as a savior, or a money making asset stripper who may yet make Whyte and Murray look like John the Baptist, at least in terms of honesty and integrity?

Agree2 Disagree1

Ibrox is only worth something when there is a football team playing at it! So when old rangers went to the wall it made ibrox value drastically drop! Also why the he'll would tesco pay 50 million for 2 plots of land, your mental!

Agree0 Disagree1

Just looked at the amount Duff and Phelps have taken out of the "pot" and monies left at end of season?
No one will get a "bean" except them, not going go down well with creditors and or the rest of bloodhounds.
As for rest of reading it would take for ever to digest the crap written about how this and that had to be funded etc and who they are taking to court(ie arsenal shares, looks like nothing coming for them too aaaaaaaaa) and suddenly Green has now also bought the players contracts from old Gers for a "song"
He must been using the Murray terminology of for "every pound you are worth i will pay administrators 50p or less") (this will go down well with Liqidators or future buyers of players) does this mean that players who do sign and then re-sold will have to be bought on valuation in line with Green Duff and Phelps valuations?)? ??
Funny Green never mentioned "owning" the players contracts ? especially as he so good at "mouthing off". This whole farce stinks to the heavens and is getting more smelly every day something new comes out.
Never thought it would happen but possible the whole lot will be taken back after a long process. In that time NEWCO would be in LIMBO? and with old Gers liquaidated, who or what would be playing in Scottish Football from Ibrox? anyone know? Does our involvement in Scottish Football not need accountabuility of things ie not going bust in 6months etc? if so we not getting into 1st Div and possibly not getting into any league until shambles sorted out? which could be year at least? Will last man/women to leave please put out the light ,,,,,, we cant afford a big bill .

Not a rumour guys, this is 100% fact.

I work for Sky and a company wide brief came out to be aware of increased calls for cancellation of Rangers fans sports packages and a list of things that would dissuade them from said action, I don't work for cancellations (or turnaround as it is known) but my dept was also briefed on these procedures even though we can't actually cancel accounts.
Is says to me that Sky are trying to hold on for the vote before readjusting the deal to suit whatever is left of the product that is actually sell-able to a wider audience.
I don't think the Turkeys have a clue exactly how bad this could get for the game as a whole, little or no TV money means decreased advertising contracts and sponsorship throughout the whole league structure.

Should have left us in the SPL with sanctions as now the only measure that maintains "Sporting Integrity" is drop to the 3rd and frankly it's all over as no way will Sky wait 4 years (possibly longer) to get the only show in town that they can sell back on the screen.

Pass the Cranberry sauce please Ethel, this turkey is very dry......

Charli3.

Believable47 Unbelievable29

I don't think anyone is under the illusion that the Sky contract would remain intact after The Rangers/Sevco were (rightly in my opinion) not allowed direct entry into the SPL.
Consider this though, there are a lot of Celtic fans out there that want to see there team on TV, Sky or ESPN would be daft to forget that. I expect some kind of TV deal will come for the SPL, and considering the lions share used to go to the Old Firm, it may not make such a huge imapct on the rest of the SPL as you think.

Agree13 Disagree38

Many bears I know are being offered half price sports package and 4 months free movies ... If the dont cancel
Canny see the point of paying for sky sports aint showing the super teds

The airport bear

Agree40 Disagree13

Scottish football is dead, congratulations SPL and SFA. You took the decision to, instead of help rangers in their hour of need, like the english FA help their teams... intead u opened the door for a long awaited free for all, come along u said, everyone lets kick rangers when their down... well dont top beaks... you have actually killed out game.

Agree39 Disagree25

REMEMBER if sky decide they are not interested in scottish football there are other companies showing football .
ESPN , BBC , BT ( WHOLE NEW CHANNEL looking for games to make up schedule , so not all money will go , as im sure some or all of the above will jump at the chance {Ed039's Note - I wouldn't be so sure, if a company pulls out of a low paying deal, what are the chances of someone else throwing money at it)

Agree11 Disagree23

Your talking sh1te! everyone knows scots have the highest sky sports subscriptions per household in the UK, if they tried to bully the genral public it would be the masses who would tell sky to do one! they cannot afford to loose scottish football fans money because of one clubs illegal actions!

Agree17 Disagree24

32% of sky's subscription comes from Scotland. The facts are that the pittance we get for tv money doesn't reflect the percentage we subscribe to. The have us over a barrel. Typical sky slimy bast@rds. The mob you work for are lousy mate. But I imagine you must already know that. Rangers will be put in Division 1 and your suggestion wont matter. They have already said they will cover 1 year and if (WHEN) rangers are back in the SPL it will be business as usual.

P.s F@CK SKY

Agree27 Disagree6

Interesting post - I did this very thing on Saturday i.e. cancel Sky Sports and had a good chat with the guy on the helpdesk. I asked him if Sky were monitoring all cancellations from Scottish club fans (from any side not just Rangers) and Rangers in particular.
He said they had not been briefed to do so but thought this seemed a good idea and was going off to speak to his boss!
I must say it seemd oddd to me that a global company like Sky hadn't thought to do this in the first place given the potential for such action for people to "vote with their remotes" as things developed.

I suppose either way Sky have to alsl weigh this up to see how it goes e.g. X number of Rangers fans cancle versus Y number of others all depending upon the outcome of league votes, etc.

I did suggest (half jokingly) that there will be a good TV programme for Sky to commission in order to follow Rangers from whatever league they are recovering their way back up from and that it would get good viewing numbers...TBH I think I was doing Sky's marketing & strategy dept' for them.

Agree23 Disagree8

No2 , yes it might not effect the others quite the same but you are just talking about sky,all other sponsors want the product that they are promoting to be on the telly and pay accordingly , no telly no bumper contracts that's business as they say

Agree5 Disagree3

All tv companies that buy the rights of spl do well its only when they try move into the epl that they hit a problem tv money will always be their and if you deduct the money rangers took out of it then any cut will probably break even

Agree3 Disagree5

Read an article somewhere that suggested more people tuned in to watch rangers than Celtic in UK last season. Personally I think sky will try and Rob Scottish football given the chance. Beware lesser tv companies. Remember setanta.

Agree18 Disagree6

Sky are partly to blame for this debacle by not threatening to pull the plug prior to the spl vote. rangers would still be in the spl with sanctions. scottish football needs rangers.

Agree21 Disagree15

To the guy who says sky cant afford to lose scottish football. Would that be because we have about 500 million people living in our tiny country?. Me thinks they they would get by just fine.

Agree4 Disagree16

I hope Sky feel the pinch from the Rangers fans as they cancel their subscriptions for Sky sports. Scottish football needs competition who is interested in a one horse race.
Why should Rangers play in the first division so the SPL team can keep their TV money?
I think it would be fair if Rangers started over in the third division whatever happens to Scottish football happens I just wonder how many teams in the SPL would still be alive & kicking when Rangers eventually get back to the SPL.

Agree21 Disagree6

I only got sky for the old firm games all they years ago , gers against st johnstone , killie , etc are total bull everyone got to agree EPL is far superior only channel I will cancelling is the crappy ESPN , don't get me
wrong I will be climbing walls with no old
firm games , suppose if anything it will help drive the bigots out the game

Agree2 Disagree4

I work for Sky in and above the level of a call centre worker. I would like to take this opportunity to categorically state that the original poster in this thread is NOT an employee of our company or if he is then he is a liar. We have held talks over the current and future coverage of Scottish football and overall as a company we are happy with the projected figures for the coming years from our Scottish based customers. Although we feel sympathetic to Rangers and their fans the ongoing problems are not of any concern of ours as they have been brought on by an individual company out with our control. The financial contract we have with the SPL represents good value for money in our overall brand and leading football broadcasters. Obviously if customers wish to cancel their subscriptions we will do all we can to dissuade them but there has been no company wide brief been issued on how to specifically dissuade Rangers supporters, I can 100% assure you of that. We value all of our customers but can not be seen to be showing any favouritism to any team or try to influence the rules of the game and it's sporting integrity. There are strict laws we must adhere to at all times, and there is the FIFA statutes that govern us as broadcasters. As far as the company is concerned our coverage of the Scottish Premier League will continue as agreed and as already been stated by the company.

Rangers supporters would be silly to subscribe to sky/espn thereby funding clubs that hate us with a vengeance.

Agree13 Disagree0

Don't have sky. I have Virgin and watch Celtic mostly on ESPN, who will probably still show the SPl if Sky cancel. 3b to the EPla n threaten cutting us off over Rangers. They are having a laugh! and I don't find it funny. I will give sky nothing ever again and that is with or without Rangers.

Agree2 Disagree3

@ "I work for Sky in and above the level of a call centre worker."

What you say may prove to be ultimately correct but I seriously doubt that you are in a position high enough within the company to be involved in these alleged 'meetings' if they have indeed taken place. I am basing my assumptions on two things. Firstly, your first sentence (quoted above and contradictory in nature - "in and above"? Which one is it?) suggests that you are actually far closer to the bottom end of the hierarchical structure than the top end, if you do indeed work there at all. Secondly, Sky is a company primarily based upon communication and what you have written (more importantly HOW you have written it) does not tie-in with someone holding a position of influence within the company. Anyone attending these meetings would/should have a basic grasp of the English language and manage to keep the tense consistent throughout the paragraph, for example (I could go on but the purpose here is not to criticise your writing style but to question your honesty). Furthermore, based on your second line ("I would like to take this opportunity...") you have clearly received permission from your bosses to speak on behalf of the company and clear up any misunderstandings regarding their future plans in relation to covering the Scottish game. Why not send Ed039 the e-mail address of your superior/s who gave this authorisation privately, as I have no doubt Ed039 would be more than happy to clarify the true situation and come back to us with the response without it reaching the public domain. If what you say is true then there will be no reason as to why this request would be refused as only Ed039 would have access to said contacts. If confirmed by Ed then I will issue an apology to you within these pages and not doubt your written word again - if you leave a name next time that is. However, I suspect you are pretending to be someone or something you are not and that is extremely sad in my opinion (you may indeed work for Sky but have made the rest up is what I mean by that). I hope to be proven wrong, that way we can all put the Sky debate to bed once and for all.

Dundee director Di Stefano has written to administrators Duff and Phelps revealing he is interested in snapping up the old Rangers before the company is wound up.

The 55-year-old lawman — dubbed the Devil’s Advocate after representing Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and Moors Murderer Ian Brady — wants to revive the club’s fortunes.

And he claims his bid will be bankrolled by a string of wealthy oil sheikhs — if the Ibrox side are allowed to play in England.

The old Rangers is currently in administration and will be liquidated shortly. Charles Green transferred the assets to his newco Gers after buying the club for £5.5million.

Di Stefano wrote: “I’m aware the assets of the company were sold to Charles Green, but I have spoken with the registrar at Companies House that confirms The Rangers Football Club Plc is a company still ‘only in administration’ and is capable of acquisition, transfer and/or assignment.

“I would be obliged if you would confirm your understanding of the situation. My advisors clearly confirm the company is still capable of being sold as a corporate shell including, but not definitely inheriting, the liabilities that Charles Green did not assume in his agreement with you when assets were sold.

“That however, would be my problem and argument with HMRC once I owned the said company.”

The Italian claims Gers have a right to play in English football due to an agreement dating back to the 1880s.

In a three-page letter to the FA’s chairman David Bernstein, Di Stefano insisted that the old Rangers could still enter the English divisions.

He told him: “There is an interested party in the Middle East who may acquire the shares of Rangers and accept all the contingent liabilities if the club is entitled to play in the English league. Having researched the rules of the period and Articles of Association of both the FA and Rangers FC, I find nothing which would sustain anything other than Rangers inheriting the right to play in the English league.

“I could find nothing that suggested Rangers lost their right or were expelled from the FA after their incorporation in 1899.”

Earlier this year, Di Stefano urged the ruler of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, 59, to purchase the crisis-hit club.

Last night sports law expert Dr Gregory Ioannidis, of Buckingham University, said: “Although in theory any club could apply for FA membership, it would have to be according to the limitations of procedural requirements and the rules currently in place. It is also a matter to be decided by the relevant league. In theory RFC could apply for membership but it would have to be from the bottom.” Duff and Phelps refused to comment.

Is this guy for real, between this Gazza wanting to come back and bloomin Subbuteo kicking us into touch, the media really are in silly season.

Believable14 Unbelievable14

This guy nose his onions. He cud be until something. Let hope so. Better that Green in Div 3.

Agree6 Disagree8

So there could be two pretenders to the Rangers throne. Great. One can play in SFL1 and the other in SFL2. They could even ground-share Ibrox. Everyone is happy.

Agree4 Disagree6

However ludicrous this sounds, I'd support both (old co in Engerland, and newco in Scotland) imagine... 2 titles in one season, bet no other club has ever done that lol!

Agree3 Disagree5

If you buy old rangers then you take the debt aswell no one is saying you cant apply to england but they dont want any old firm team down their have they suddenly advertised for corrupt teams and tax dodgers to join their league ??

Agree7 Disagree3

Surely if cw is charged with fraud the ticketus and hmrc debt would be his therefore the debt of the oldco would be circa 6/7 million with the btc still to be decided.it would be interesting to see the reaction of the fans as the oldco must still have a claim to the spl licence

Agree3 Disagree2

Even before any of the tripe you have just suggested. There are rules that stop any team from outside England playing down there. Unless you move the stadium down there and start from the bottom. The rule was brought in after Cardiff and Swansea etc before you start with that keg. If i had a pound for everytime someone has had to come on and remind people about this i could have put forward a decent CVA and saved the club. Get a grip man. ITS SCOTLAND, ITS DIVISION 3, ITS A DISASTER. But the gers will be back. Patience will be stretched however.

Agree3 Disagree2

6/7 million ? was hmrs not standing around 19 million for this years tax alone

CRISIS-hit Rangers have been given the flick by footy table top game SUBBUTEO.

No tiny plastic players will sport the Light Blue this season after the newco Ibrox club failed to sign a contract with the makers in time.

And that leaves arch rivals Celtic as Subbuteo’s only Scots team — joining English giants like Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

The previous Ibrox regime HAD agreed to a new model version of Rangers.

But the reborn club led by Charles Green has still not rubber-stamped the paperwork.

Believable34 Unbelievable7

Romour has it the SFA are going to step in and insist that Rangers get to play.

Agree5 Disagree3

Thats it green has to go! cant believe were not in subbuteo this year. Who gives a s**t mate!

Agree10 Disagree2

Celtic more famous than Rangers? only in Subbuteo!

Agree10 Disagree8

There are bigger problems than SUBBUTEO. Who cares.

Agree8 Disagree2

Wow am absolutley distraught at this news naaat {Ed039's Note - It's heart braking)

Agree6 Disagree2

Subbuteo has been rubbish since they started using printed plastic images of players over real figures anyway. Would anybody seriously buy this for their kid, when you can get FIFA and a PS3? I'm more concerned that Rangers won't be in FIFA13 and have already written to EA Sports regarding this issue.

Agree6 Disagree2

Can't beleive in this day & age people still play subbuteo.
Whats more incredible is that some people care that they won't be able to play as rangers this season.
Lets just hope the real gers are playing in a domestic league in the coming months.

Agree6 Disagree1

Last I heard he was going to court preventing Subbuteo from transfering players to another paint-job. Subbuteo will appeal to FIFA.

Agree4 Disagree2

While there are bigger problems, it demonstrates the fact that green does not think he would be around to collect the Subbuteo money when it became payable. For a club in newco's position not to maximize income is crazy, unless the plan is to go bust.

Agree2 Disagree2

I think a few posters are having an irony breakdown at the moment. Must be all the stress.

Agree1 Disagree1

Are yous gonna boycott subbuteo now aswell ?? that was your only hope of getting a full squad together {Ed039's Note - Ffs, somebody always has to lower the tone, was a decent piece of banter til I seen this)

The spl have now said that they cannot proceed with the double contracts enquiry until the Newco agrees to be bound by its findings!! Don't think the Newco have entered into one contract never mind double contracts.
Also the Tax Tribunal result will not be known for several weeks. Somebody away on holiday?

Believable22 Unbelievable12

Why would we agree to be bound by its findings? We liquidated because of this and craigy shyte withholding tax, why would we then take on the debts etc of the oldco?

This spl/sfa debacle just gets more and more idiotic day by day!

Agree9 Disagree4

Why should we? We're a Newco applying to join the SFL.

Agree6 Disagree4

Who cares about the tax tribunal? nobody will be paying it anyway other that Whyte or Murray!

The SPL have already decided we have a case to answer for dual contracts and payments.

Laughable if true. Since the Newco are not members of the SPL, why should they even entertain communicating with that shower, let alone be bound by any of their kangaroo court's findings.

Iv said all along that if we want to keep our history then we also have to keep the possible use of ebt's. cant take the good history and leave the bad can we, and i personally would rather be stripped of half a dozen titles than lose them all.

Agree1 Disagree1

Are u celtic in disguise? our history shows 54 titles. why should we surrender any to a club that is jealous of our proud world record.
