The press conference for tomorrow will be to tell us all that the stadium is going to be renamed " sports direct misfit academy " and here's a question for you all. how come the Greek lad and young Faure were under 21 internationals? I presume it is our coaching staff who have ruined them, along with the Brazilian. I would like to see them perform under a better coach before ditching them.

Believable44 Unbelievable5

I too would like to see how these lads and the likes of Sandaza, Black and Templeton would perform under a proper coaching set up at Rangers.

The quality of performance has been dire since MacDowall arrived on teh scene and only the unique man management capability of Smith saw us through to the Trophies secured under his stewardship.

The sooner MacDowall and McCoist are replaced, the sooner we will have a better team.

Agree3 Disagree1

The press conference is about another explosive shock to come out of ibrox as its been found the succulent lamb fed to reporters was not real lamb and in actual fact the fake lamb as seen in the papers this morning a few reporters are worries and are now considering to sue the club for real lamb green has denied responsibility and claims it should be took up with oldco and says this is not mmmaaaaahhh problem

Agree1 Disagree2

OP, don't these guys have names? Stop being so disrespectful.
Al

Agree0 Disagree1

My name is wee bill and I posted the original message. Hope knowing my name solves your problem. can't see how, but there you go

Agree1 Disagree0

I think he was talking about the names of the players instead of you referring to them at the Greek and Brazilian guy.

Barry Ferguson going into management, I'd get him in to take over from McCoist.

Not keen on legends taking management rolls but he would make a good manager in my eyes

Believable15 Unbelievable82

Behave yourself mate are u actualy being serious with this comment?

Agree1 Disagree1

Is this the same Barry ferguson who was chased ot of the OLD Rangers?.

Agree1 Disagree2

Are you mad? So swap a manager with 6-7 years experience with Walter Smith, for a rookie? Why? because he's a legend like Ally?

Agree0 Disagree1

Barry Ferguson a legend? You serious?

Agree1 Disagree1

A legend for a dead team, very good mate. Stay off the Dry Blackthorn.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ferguson and legend in the same sentence, your having a laugh mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

Personally I would prefer that we made an enlightened appointment like we did when Souness was signed as player manager.

In an ideal world we would take a similar punt again and perhaps go for someone like Neville or Lambert. We need a winner as manager and unfortunately that is something that McCoist is not.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I wasnt serious about getting him in. but I do think he has what it takes to be a good manager

Agree0 Disagree0

Barry Ferguson is one of the most over-rated Rangers players of all time.
He had more bad seasons than good.
He could not even admit it was his own selfish actions that got him kicked out.
A legened not.

The same captain Barry who got P Le Guen sack because he tried to increase the fitness levels at the club. Now we, ve got a ready made replacement in big daft Lee (i want Barrys jersey) mccolloch
P Le Guen should be invited back as he would use the youngsters correctly and put a style of football on the park that would sweep all before them in years to come.

In the Sunday newspapers 80% of Rangers fans want Ally sacked right now.
Use the rest of the season for new coaching staff to bed in their style and assess who they want to keep or drop.
Change tactics and watch good players play to their potential.
Allowing McCoist to remain at Ibrox would be counter productive, don't give him a job upstairs, madness, he needs a period of reflection totally out with rangers. It also wouldn't be appropriate for new manager.

Believable51 Unbelievable8

So only 20% think he should quit

Agree0 Disagree0

Didn't Ally put in some of the 5mil to buy the old club, if so then CG will be dealing with a share holder not just a manager.

Agree1 Disagree1

I think its a disgrace some bears not getting behind the manager he's a young rookie that will come good give the manager time

It's not like they were rushed, compromised buys!
Alexander signing for the newco, Shiels, Black, Sandaza etc, these were all reasonably performing SPL players.

Believable21 Unbelievable5

Mostly yes m8, but they were very ordinary at best, only ever seen when playing a blinder against the old firm, then losing next few games to poor teams, none of them remotely good enough, Templeton is able to destroy anyone, once or twice a season, too lighweight and doesn't have the football brain of a good player, Ally bought a bag of pups, Sandancer is a classic example, he actually told Rangers they were a small club? ffs

Agree1 Disagree0

I've said before these players were ok to play 1 good game in 5 where they were - they were never good enough for Rangers - even in 3rd div!

So having 2 weeks together a team together what do u suggest we should have done? Very very negative

Ok our defence is rubbish to say the least, but what about the goalie? If he'd blew hard enough he would have stopped the second goal.
Blueice

Believable22 Unbelievable11

Very true my friend let him go at end of season and save the club 10k a week in wages.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ive never thought NA was good enough, great that he stayed, now time to get a good young keeper in, the type we, ve been famous for, The wages we pay would surely get us such a player, and maybe 2 keepers,

Agree0 Disagree1

This is the same guy who stepped in brilliantly for an injured McGregor on our UEFA cup run. This is a guy who has never let us down when he's had to step in and generally performed really well. Granted, he's not the most vocal of keepers and he seems to be struggling a bit at the moment but no wonder! I think even Goram in his pomp would be panicking with this current ropey defence in front of him! Alexander just looks like a keeper stuck out on a limb. You can see the terror everytime he realises Cribari is going for the ball.

For those guys saying 'Look to the future' whenever previous players are mentioned as signing targets, let's look to the future, fine. But let's get back to the premier league by any means first. Anyone saying guys like Boyd wouldn't do that job are either completely devoid of football knowledge or are trolling from the green side of town. Remember that we are effectively fielding the Rangers 3rd team. It won't be that way forever. Pc loyal

you say its only a third division team then why the 6-7 million wage bill, second highest in Scottish football so saying that rubbish I think yr just trying to make yr self fell better about the shocking football week in week out, hibs or st mirren or any other club for that matter would bite your hand of for kind of wages to pay players and I bet they would buy a lot better

Agree1 Disagree1

Your 3rd team has the second highest wage structure in Scottish football, think about it.

Next year CG will want wages down and ticket prices up, he has the fans by the proverbial short and curlies.

Hibs to sign Kevin Thompson til the end of the season, then he will return to Ibrox. Same as Boyd

Believable14 Unbelievable69

What's the fascination with you guys about brining in ex-Rangers player. I thought you were looking to the future.

Agree1 Disagree0

No thanks. These guys had their chance, anyway both are finished.

Agree1 Disagree0

Not a chance he will come back, he is a Hibs man through and through, don't want him back as he will spend most of his time on the physio bench.

to all the ally must go crowd. ain't HAPPENIN. not before may 22nd or whenever this sideshow ends. so stop wasting your breaths. butcher didn't take the barnsley job for a reason and that reason is he's allys replacement. stuart mccoll is not the man. not enuff of an authority with his squeaky voice. don't care wit he's doing at steeltown. tel in. allyoot. happy days ahead. oh and by the way. well done annan, i'm sure that result today will go down in their history books along wi the others that took points as monumental "where were you when that happened " times. just like berwick in 66. WHEN WE'RE IN THE CHAMPIONIES LEAGUE. deecee

Believable9 Unbelievable61

I think youll find the famous Berwick result was in 1967. Mind you that result isn't part of The Rangers' history so why would you remember it?

Agree0 Disagree0

Soory. don't like that number
