Hearing from one of my good sources that Rangers will offer a contract to Northern Irishman Chris Baird who plays for Fulham in the Championship and is out of contract in the summer, apparently Frank McParland was down watching the Fulham vs Cardiff game at the weekend as Baird came off the bench to help his team win 2-1, he is 34 years old but he has a lot of knowledge of the game and is vastly experienced and could offer a lot of experience in that holding midfield role that Rangers have been missing, he can also provide cover for anywhere in defence.

He is on loan from Derby County but they are looking to terminate his contract at the end of this season so he would cost nothing.

29 yo Feyenoord striker Imers (think that's how you spell it) is on the radar. Currently on loan at Cardiff amd just so happens Macparland was down watching Fulham v cardiff game at weekend. don't know too much about this guy but think I read this on the Ibrox Loyal page. Would add top flight experience but again I don't know enough about the boy to further comment. Anyone else know much about him?

Even with a year left i'd imagine he'd conmand a swven figure fee then Suggs? Could probably find cheaper better suited alternatives elsewhere.

Cardiff were ready to bid £4.5m for this guy about a year ago.
