I heard we have made enquiry about signing Danny Graham from Sunderland.
I think he would be brilliant signing for us and not another James Beattie.

Another stiker I'd like us to try and get would be Armstrong of Newcastle United.
I do know 1 thing tho, who ever Mr Warbutton brings in will be the correct signings. Really looking forward to the cup final and next season.

I always wonder if we had gone up last season with McCall would he of stayed on and how would we of finished this season.

12 May 2016 23:25:07
Would he of stayed on? How would we of finished? Do you mean would he have, how would we have.

12 May 2016 23:47:04
If we had gone up with McCall, we wouldn't be playin the attractive football that were playin the now that's for sure, no offence to McCall but i'm very happy with Mark and big Davie boii in charge here now, onwards and upwards,

12 May 2016 23:56:41
Danny Graham is poor mate that the type of player we need to avoid. Not technically good enough for our style of play and would demand a decent wage.

13 May 2016 08:10:50
No offence original poster but danny graham ain't poor and our manager rates him and worked with him at watford, sure he's lost his way at times but that's what warbs is brilliant at ie. taking players who's careers have slightly stalled and bringing them back to their best,3 comes to mind right away, tav, waggy and forrester, I rest my case, warbs seems to bring out the best in players who've slightly stalled which doesn't make them poor players!

12 May 2016 19:21:45
Was talking to a friend of mine who works as a youth scout at auchenhowie he was telling me the rossiter deal is done and also we are signing graham dorrans and also a guy from fenerbache ( never gave a name )

12 May 2016 20:29:55
Bigtrfc see the scoutmaster you know is it the guy that's married to your aunties cousins wee sisters brother i law fae up yonder, still it sounds better than the petrol station rumour, lol.

12 May 2016 21:05:18
Serdar Kesimal, can be the only one from fenerbache it could be. Out of contract and market value 225k. Cb also.

12 May 2016 21:06:51
Also heard Dorrans was a done deal. Don’t shoot the messenger!

12 May 2016 20:40:00
Yeah ok only 1 out of those 3 is true.

12 May 2016 22:13:16
I'll add to this as I've heard that sunderland striker danny graham WILL be a rangers player if he takes a wage cut, the offer from us has already been made to danny graham and his agent, they are currently mulling it over, warburton knows graham well from their time together at watford, danny graham really fancies the possibility of working with warbs once again if a deal can be struck, time will tell on this one!

12 May 2016 18:11:52
Australian paper and HITC claiming we are interested in Aaron Mooy of Melbourne City, it says Melbourne refused us to take him on trial. Can't find much else so could just be rumours.

12 May 2016 19:06:56
Ex St Mirren if I remember correctly.

12 May 2016 19:32:20
Yet another midfielder we are linked to?

At this rate we will have as many as septic.

12 May 2016 21:34:07
I know we don't want too many midfielders. There's an Australian ger that comes on here that swears by Mooy though.

12 May 2016 23:03:22
Gosman, We need about 100 to have as many as that mob.

12 May 2016 22:14:46
Boy from Perth (AUS) I think, has been on here raving about him for a while.

13 May 2016 07:47:50
Aaron Mooy is a great player - think he would do really well at Rangers. Runs all day and scored a few.

13 May 2016 12:59:26
Mooy has two years to run on his deal
Better value players in England
If its goals we want from midfield
We should look at John Moncur's boy.

13 May 2016 00:48:00
Have been in Aus for last 2 years just moved back to Glasgow, Mooy has been best player in the league by a mile gets called the Australian messi lol would be a good signing.

12 May 2016 12:45:15
Any update on the young lad from Liverpool signing a contract yet?

12 May 2016 14:09:14
Personally think it will happen at end of EPL season as he is still a signed player and the window is not open .

12 May 2016 14:11:02
He's going to spurs?

12 May 2016 18:04:57
He's away to Spurs for £6m according to wiki but the reference takes u to the story about signing for us.

12 May 2016 18:31:21
I don't think we would want to risk waiting till the end of the epl season before signing him. It would be wise to at least get him on a pre contract agreement until he is available to sign.

12 May 2016 19:47:45
Albertz you mean that wiki who pretty much anyone registered can edit? Oh an also the same wiki edited 23 mins ago? He cannot move to Spurs outside a transfer window. He is out of contract in the summer and Daniel Levi is one of the most shrewd chairmen in football. He will not pay £6m for someone out of contract he would take the chance with the tribunal!

12 May 2016 20:31:50
I see what u mean swifty, back to signing for us now. U change it to that by any chance?

12 May 2016 20:45:47
He won't be going to Spurs for £6m to sit in their reserves. They would be happy to do a deal with us so that we have him for a couple of seasons and then sell him to them for £4m - £5m.

12 May 2016 21:18:08
Albertz not my thing. I prefer to wait till it is certain before I would preach about things. I am just pointing out Wikipedia should never be cited as a source.

13 May 2016 15:43:54
According to TV, he's in Glasgow right now finalising the deal.

12 May 2016 10:57:56
Have heard that Durrant has left the Club. Contract not been renewed.

12 May 2016 11:07:56
Hope so, can't believe he's kept his job for this long I'm sure MW will have somebody better qualified in mind.

12 May 2016 11:10:36
Unsurprising when you look at the u20 results.

12 May 2016 11:18:41
Tbh i wouldn't have given him a new contract big changes needed at development level and i don't think durrant is the man for the job.

12 May 2016 11:41:15
Think he was on big money too, another jobs for the boys under last regime. Wish him well though, is Rangers through and through.

12 May 2016 11:27:05
We obviously forgotten how great a Gers player durranty was, a footballing wizard Imo, sad that some are happy to see him go.

12 May 2016 11:56:10
Totally agree with the above comments. The old "your a good rangers man, so you'll have a job with us for life" attitude will not wash with warbs.

12 May 2016 12:34:12
Hmmmmm, Rangers through and through but wasnt up to the job and we're sorry to see him go. Does this remind you of someone that some of us were too happy to see the back of but wasn't afforded the same courtesy as Durrant re legend status?

12 May 2016 13:31:02
what a football player maybe not quite up to the job though we have to get the best for our development. wish him all the best as he is a good rangers man but agree that we shouldn't hold on to sum1 that isn't doing well enough just because he is a legend. 9oh and mcoist always has and always will be a legend even if he isn't a great manager the guy stuck with us when no one else would and fought harder than anyone when they where talkin about stripping our titles) . rant over lol.

12 May 2016 13:55:12
think durrant'y should be wished good luck and thanks for everything.
fresh start and a good clear out is what the club needs from top to bottom.

12 May 2016 16:29:50
Rangers man yes
Legend yes
Great player yes
Coach nah no thanks
One of the old guard jobs for the boys yes
This story sounds familier

Thanks Ian always a Ranger never a football coach.

12 May 2016 20:11:12
You lot have clearly forget that every descent player from the under 20s was loaned out.

12 May 2016 20:50:04
Durrant has had his time at Rangers and it is time for him to move on, maybe even retire. He is a legend and was a superb player who could have been one of the best players that Scotland ever produced had it not been for Aberdeen. He has not done badly as a coach at Rangers despite the overall problems during his time at the club.

12 May 2016 23:07:20
Durranty has behaved impeccably throughout. Never on 850k a season. Put up with loads watched best lads disappear plenty would have been bitter or full of excuses kept his council good luck to him some people on here are all to quick to forget.

12 May 2016 23:23:05
Good luck to him if true, it's hard seeing your hero failing. What a player.

13 May 2016 00:20:01
Every decent player is out on loan learning the trade in a competitive environment against men. Durrant is playing 16 and 17 year old kids against 19 and 20 year old players.

12 May 2016 21:25:11
Bongo, how on earth would you know how good a coach Durrant is?
You can have no idea, I know, because I know. Ian, and I know he is very highly regarded as a coach, you have simply disregarded his skills, you know. Nothing about coaching professional football, so you should not be disrepting real football men, and especially not real Rangers legends.

13 May 2016 20:07:40
I've seen Durrant coaching - he's seen me coaching! He's a good quality coach who, at any time this season, has had the bulk of his players out on loan, depleting the side and therefore hampering continuity of selection and results (which are not the most important thing at this level) . Unfortunately he is seen by some as 'old school' and that alone means his time is probably up in favour of one or two 'modernisers'. Youth coaching is notoriously fickle, it changes like the wind, rather like the country's education system. Over the past 30 years or so we've gone through dozens of coaches at that level, depending who is in charge of the department. It's something we need settled for a long number of years or it will never get better. In spite of that, the real cream will always rise to the top.

11 May 2016 23:23:09
Warburton wants Alex Pritchard for a year on loan next season, had him at Brentford when he was there, fantastic player.
