Tonights C4 exclusive, james traynor sending his articles to whyte first for approval, ignoring his employers at the time, looking for a job with whyte?

Yet rfc says traynor exposed whyte. when? after the fact rather than before?

Believable73 Unbelievable48

Rangers fans thinking they were getting Traynors honest journalistic opinion when what was being peddled was Whytes editorial position.
Untenable.

Agree3 Disagree0

If true, and proven, his position at the club is untenable.
I fear whoever released these emails have even more and Jabba will dig a bigger hole for himself, thus reflecting badly on the club.

Agree1 Disagree0

After job offer did not appear it seems.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read the article and it is easily one of the most tabloid esq senasationalist, hollow pieces of guff I've read in a while.
Its almost aimless in its point.

Agree2 Disagree2

Looking for paise on outing c whyte him and keith were the composers of his wealth is off the radar stories that mislead the fans

Agree0 Disagree0

So rfc controlled media, could stop ebt stories and could therefore strip Ibrox of its wealth and history - without fans knowing.

rfc also controlled SFA. is there no end?

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh for crying out loud. It's fairly common for journalists to send copies of stories before they run - particularly if the journalist thinks there's a quote that needs to be exactly right.

That does not mean Whyte had any say - or approval - in the story whatsoever.

I have been no fan of James Traynor over the years but this guy was a well-respected journalist who isn't going to tarnish his reputation by giving a shyster like Whyte pre-approval of a whole story.

There's no conspiracy here. And yes, I'm a sports journalist so I know what I'm talking about.

Agree1 Disagree1

Who sends emails when they can be used at later date??

Agree0 Disagree0

Emails show traynor did give whyte approval. ? article changed by whyte!

Agree0 Disagree0

Did whyte change article. yes!!

Agree0 Disagree0

And this is a man who slaughtered Gordon Smith for taking a job at oldco rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you tape call to whyte, you don't need email to ensure he won't say ne never said quote?? jabba nonsensical.

Agree0 Disagree0

On radio reported other journo in league with whyte, from other newsgroup? not that many newgroups?.

Agree0 Disagree0

"but this guy was a well-respected journalist " read this and nearly wet myself laughing! The guys a clown and not to be trusted.

Agree1 Disagree0

Im sorry to say this but this type of journalism from traynor kept us fans in the dark and was very much responsible for where we are today. In short we found out too late.

What like the warning signs weren't already there? Everybody seen through Moonbeams and Whyte!

Talking of warning signs, a chief executive who continually lies and has no credibility and confirmed reports of debts outstanding.
The mind boggles!

Agree1 Disagree0

So where's the story today then? Honestly there are too many people on here with jet packs pointed towards conclusions all ready to go. You all caused a furore over a non-story yet again. Get over yourselves.

Agree0 Disagree1

When whyte was mentioned to take over within hour celtic fans were sending me texts that he was a con man with lots of his companies in admin and liquidated, the so call reporters in this country should be ashamed of themselves traynor included. He claimed him and wee keith (his wealth is off the radar) were the ones who outed CW. A few replys above someone say JT was a good reporter he knew him as he was a reporter pity he never came on here and warned us above CW because all he had to do was goggle his name

Cammy Bell to join in September.

Believable44 Unbelievable30

Sounds a good deal, good keeper and younger than alexander, if alexander goes, I wish him well as most rangers fans will!

Agree0 Disagree1

Certainly puts more pressure on Alexander if he stays think its a good capture for us. If Some of our players really step upto the mark like Sheils Black & Sandaza then our sides not too bad as of now it's not good enough & we badly need defenders.

Agree0 Disagree1

Cannae see it, is he out of contract in September, anyways stick with alexander after the loyality he's shown

its in the sun today saying a deal has benn agreed

Agree1 Disagree1

I think Bell's a very promising goalie but after Alexander pledging his future with Rangers he should have been given another year at Ibrox - I'm assuming we're not going to pay 2 big wages to Gks. {The Ed039's Note - bell wont be cheap)

Rumours around Ayrshire are suggesting this deal is as good as done

Agree0 Disagree1

So will he be offered £5k-£7k? If so, and Alexander stays, Rangers would have two keepers on a combined wage of £15k-£17k - sensible spending?

Agree1 Disagree0

Cannae see it? Its a done deal

Agree0 Disagree1

Cant see him getting 5 to 7k a week, the guy must be on pennies at killie! Prob more around 2k a week range

Agree0 Disagree1

Recently Killie poached Tesslar from st Mirren they put him on 2k per week. Killie are one of the big payers in outwith the OF. If you think you'll get cammy bell for less the 8k then you're mistaken. Is he worth it? that's a different matter. I'd say yes he could easilly get that or more with an english side.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bell a promising Goal. FFS he's a full scottish internation with a league up winners medal and ten years SPL experiance including playing in Killies short run in Europe.

Agree1 Disagree0

How do you know ed bell won't be cheap especially compared to some of wages we are paying to duds we have you don't know what brlls wage is and he is free agent so only paying his wages and boy is a really good keeper so is well worth getting {The Ed039's Note - Rangers arent the only club interested in Bell, there is interest from English Championship sides as well, so there would be competition for his signature and I believe he would go where the best offer is. We are not talking £2-3k a week here, I believe we would be looking at between £8-£10k per week for his signature)

Agree0 Disagree0

Good keeper but I can't see Rangers paying another high wage earner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour has it he would be on 8k a week. that's 2 million over a five year contract. Sounds a lot but remember we would be getting him on a free contract so 2million might not be so bad for an international keeper. Or is it?

Agree0 Disagree1

If as you say he's been offered 5K then that might be why he's still thinking about staying at Killie because that won't be any more thant he is already on.
