Same reason anyone does anything these days, money. Always so quick to shoot anything down on here does my nut in. He has a house in L. A, injured most of the time would make sense for him to want a higher quality of life away from football. Personally if he was interested at all in coming up here I wouldn’t want him think the only reason some fans do is cause Andy Carroll is the other one quoted and that’s an outrageous option if you ask me.

Reason fans want Sturridge is because his stats speak for themselves. Injuries aside the guy is the best striker England have had for many years. Had he not been so frail, he'd have been unequivocally world class and be on 70+ England caps by now. He's an amazing striker and if we got him, even 10% of his capability would still destroy the SPL.

Your saying it does your nut, and to an extent I agree. But when someone writes FACT at the end of a statement, that's when it becomes annoying, unless they have proof to back up it's a fact. Not read one thing saying he could possible going to america except the odds being short. I have however read that bologna are interested in him. Possible just a rumour definitely not a fact though.

The only FACTs you will see on here is rumour mixed with conjecture stirred with a large dollop of perception.

Personally, I would like to Sturridge play for the Gers, perhaps on a play per game, if he is up for it. But if he can prove that he is fully fit then get him signed --- if he will except £1,040,000.00 per annum - enough for any man posting on here.

sturridge is a good forward but don't think he would fit gers and gerrards work ethic. besides we already have two small sharp guys up front we need a big cf to take advantage of the crosses that barasic tav jones will supply. ps sturridge has shown from yong age he is all about the money. his wages issue would be a foolish thing to bring to rangers happy dressing room.
