I'm going to throw myself on a grenade here, but I was talking to somebody who I know is very aware of the goings on at Ibrox and he told me Murty will not be in the job next season. I know it's an I know a guy who knows a guy who knows the guy who wired the hare at Shawford story but there you go.

And for the record I think it's pants as well. I didn't want Murty, but apart from not putting on Cummings earlier and not using Miller then I think he's doing a good job.

Dutch, if someone told you that much surely he mentioned some names of who our new manager is likely to be mate? If he told you its definitely NOT going to be murty, then he must have an incling of who the board are looking at? I would have thought! For the record i think graeme murty WILL be appointed our permanent manager in the summer!

Murty has got all the players playing well they all like him.
If the board did decide to disrupt this harmony in the squad and togetherness and get a new manager in charge then it better be a very good manager.
An that manger will gave to hit the ground running if not then it will be the board that will be packing there bags next we can not afford any more mistakes.

Or its somebody that has worked with murty or nicholl and will keep them on, can't see it though, for the record i'm the same super

porky pies all day long if you said sombody in ibrox told you or knows the goings on at ibrox then name him are you trying to tell us if murty goes and wins the scottish cup and finishes 2nd he won't get the job

murty will get the job full time, only problem is can he get any better tactical wise, after last sundays game he should take notice of how to put opponents to bed once he holds the advantage, not the disadvantage brenda was in

As much as I was sceptical about Murty being appointed, I must say he's been a breath of fresh air when compared with Warburton and Pedro and the players appear to like him and has them playing for him. His inexperience showed on Sunday with the lack of subs at the correct time but he WILL learn from this and together with Mark Allen I can see another good transfer window this summer (hopefully to sort the defence) and give Murty a full season to see what he can do.

I agree although I admit I am at a crossroads as to whether or not I just like the guy or if he is actually good for the club going forward. The way he handles the media is superb and he says all the right things. But I can’t help but think we need a proper manager in. I’ll withhold further judgment as I want to see what he can do when we have the likes of Dorrans back who I think would be hugely influential

Truebluesotrue, can't believe your asking, can murty improve tactically! Of course murty can and will improve tactically with experience of being in the job! He's no dunderheed and is willing to learn and improve and will only get better and better, imo anyway!

The board were split when he got the job and decided to follow the suggestion of Mark Allen, whose choice was Murty after the McInnes fiasco. I believe Allen was not very happy at the prospect of employing McInnes. I hear he has not changed his mind and believes Murty is growing into the job very well and is happy with the way things are progressing. It is also strongly rumoured that they have a host of potential signings they want to talk to. That's why I think Murty will be given another year.

I would be seriously surprised if Murty wasn't given the job next season, because the effort he has put in since taking over and the dynamic of the team since then has been great.
Him and Jimmy Nicholl and a fantastic pairing and will bring silverware back to Ibrox next season, my spidey senses can feel it!

Murty is growing into the job. If he goes on a run now and lifts the cup the job is his and rightly so.
