Sadly in the 21st century I doubt any manager would snub Liverpool and Spurs but want to take charge at Ibrox or anywhere else in Scotland.
Would be amazed if this happened but has anybody else thought about Robbie Neilson working with a DOF. Thought he did a great job at Hearts and would have no problem working together with a DOF.

Is there really such a lack of coach drivers in Britain that both Liverpool and spurs would be looking for one at the same time?
{Ed001's Note - Frank de Boer was an option at one time, he was never offered the job to turn down, but he turned down the chance to speak to Liverpool saying he was not ready for such a big job. Liverpool spoke to two other managers, Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers, instead and ended up offering the job to Rodgers. De Boer only turned down a chance to speak to Liverpool and it was a fair few years ago now. I would have to check regarding Spurs, as I am not sure off the top of my head, but I am 100% sure he was never offered the job there, I think they just wanted to talk to him but ended up going with Pochettino instead.}

Pretty sure any "offers" he had would have been a few seasons ago.
If we are to believe the Express (which I tend not to, hence my pinch of salt remark) then his agent says he's interested in the job.

Hi just passing this on believe it or not girl i work with partner works at dialy record. He has said that red bull are putting together a deal that would buy out ashley they would take over the merchandise and rename ibrox to the redbull ibrox stadium in return the will fund to major signing up 2 8million per season plus after 5 year give the gers option to buy back merchandise rights suppose it will be if ashley sells as i say only passing on what I've been told.

Red bull would want a hell of a lot more than just changing the name of the stadium, especially when you look at the likes of Salzburg, New York and Leipzig. Davie Provan wrote an interesting article at the weekend explaining that Ashley wants a route into Europe with regards to his Sports Direct merchandise and advertising.
something which he will struggle to do with Newcastle but more hope with Rangers. The fact that he hasn’t sold or parted way with his shares could be to do with this so it’s wishful thinking that he will part with it fairly easily.
