Ayrshire debt collection company owner Paul Mackenzie joins Paul Murray at the helm of the blue knights

Believable36 Unbelievable42

Least he's working for us then eh?
PaulRFC

Agree0 Disagree0

100% True he is a die hard bluenose and successful business. Company just been sold for over 30M

Source: I work with him

Agree0 Disagree0

Good he's plenty money, he's going to need it i think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Class in sure he will have plenty of clients that are celtic fans,

that way he can collect their money and put it into our club aswell lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Debt collector must be a lovely man!

Will raise the present calibre of the present board.

Maybe he could assist D&P.

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue Knights will evaporate into the night same as the tax money has done.

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats a joke a debt collector, he'd be too busy at board meetings

Agree0 Disagree0

Reluctantly i agree. blue knights wont do a thing. they will blame d and p..... would be better off with some blue nun!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry an ayrshire debt collector..... with money? sorry cant see that, dont think many in ayrshire pay their debts back lol

Sorry couldnt resist.

Evinguu

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres plenty of debt to be collected from Ibrox lol , he'll be kept busy .

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul murry aint getting nowhere, hes banned remember

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you sure joining is the right word.
Maybe its chasing lol

Agree0 Disagree0

30 million is nothing. How much is he actually able to invest?(give away)

Agree0 Disagree0

Waste of time joining the knights cos the Arabs and the fortress cant be matched. If Murray wins the bid it will be a sympathy vote from Duff and Phelps.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it justme? this guy has 30 million, our debt is at worst 90 million at best 45 million, just how does this get us out the hole? Are we to believe he is going to put in the full 30 million? If he is a good business man then I don't think so, this rumour is L.O.S.

Agree0 Disagree0

We must be realistic, Rangers was worth £1 only a year ago, and has lost 15 million since then.

Anyone who pays more than 15-20 million is nuts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Worried about Paul Mackenzie - have you seen the web stories about his company Mackenzie Hall and their dishonesty! Warned by the Office of Fair Trading! A few steps away from Craig Whyte

Rumour now that the Administration technicality is a way out for D&P. Their agenda is to get out of the mess. Court likely to appoint KPMG.
The oversight was spotted when D&P were reviewing their procedure for entering Liquidation. They spotted they hadn't informed FSA on Administration. D&P have projected their last invoicing based on their meagre Rangers cash holdings.

Believable26 Unbelievable30

Why would they want out - the longer they are their the more they make and the higher their profile. It was Whyte who didnt make the appointment correctly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how if sum1 uses a few legal terms they just assume every1 will buy it. Utter nonsense.

Drew

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh that would be the Icing on the cake, D&P Whytes buddies, take what's left of our cash Do a sharp harp and leave some other wolves with the pickings, Who is this Whyte guy and what have we done to him in the past? Because this is starting to look like a determined attack to destroy our club at every turn of the page their is another trap for us.
Billy K

Agree0 Disagree0

Lot of speculation that Duff and Phelps may well be out of their depth here, but it was HMRC and their lawyers that spotted the error.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never ceases to amaze me how many celtic fans come on our site and talk drivel the technicality is whyte is not the legal owner of Rangers. The rhat whyte shuts down businesses for a living as many a celtic fan has said on here yet he forgot to inform the FSA LOL LOL

Agree0 Disagree0

Duff and Phelps and this FSA nonsense appears to be so similar to Whytes shambles to be unrelated?

Agree0 Disagree0

Utter nonsense because it was not Duff and Phelps who discovered this

Agree0 Disagree0

Any money CW is a tim. I hope he faces legal proceedings and goes to the wall for this.

Agree0 Disagree0

The FSA nonsense isn't a shambolic situation. Like Whytes shambles everything is pre planned orchestrated and deliberate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Canny be a tim, he`s too clever to have thought up this scam.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone who thinks D&P have not projected their last invoice against Rangers cash holding is niaive.
D&P are a business and their highest priority is to make a large profit for D&P shareholders. Create employment for D&P staff and take advantage of business situations to sustain income for as long as possible. These wolves will take bites out of the sheep and tell you the wool is still good for market.

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres certainly a lot of wool getting pulled over the fans eyes, thats for sure.

I hear the compliance officer from uefa .Paying SFA a visit next week..I also hear Porto are interested in rangers case
All to do with one of our Dutch players at the time

Believable31 Unbelievable35

Pray tell . What on earth are Porto going to do. NOTHING. Same a sRangers were awarded nothing when Marseie conned there way to Euro Final. Oh did I not hear all the timmys saying hard lines.

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt there is much Porto could do so long after the event unless it was through civil action though of greater concern will be the action that was taken against Marseille. They were stripped of the title. The same could happen here if proven.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard it was German club and inquiry involves National team and other SPL clubs (using fraudulent methods to increase coefficient) ecrement has been officially fanned

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes it's the compliance officer, but he's the senior individual in a small delegation.

Agree0 Disagree0

What dutch players?

We played them wi mcleish

Agree0 Disagree0

Just a technical point on Marseille. It's common misunderstanding that the conned their way to the CL final. In truth they might well have done but were actually found guilty only of bribing a fellow French team to make their last league match before the CL final an easy win. They were stripped of the league title and relegated but the CL title still stands. I think if they had been found done for CL games, and thwere were allegations, then depending on the time that had elapsed, the title would have been awarded to Milan, or, if it was in a short time frame a new final organised. Its not really then an equivalent to the current situation as much as suspicion lingers

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was the game before the last group game v Bruges that was fixed? Very different . I may be wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

The game marseille fixed was in the French league against Valenciennes it had nothing to do with champions league hence why they didn't lose their title.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only player signed from Porto would have been Nuno Capucho. And surely Rangers did Porto a massive favour by taking him off their hands!

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct, the referee was Monsieur Craig Leblanc.

Agree0 Disagree0

The difference is Rangers don't need to bribe the authorities in Scotland , the head honchos are all Rangers men , its a bad day when it takes other countries complaining to highlight the corruption , that is Scottish Football , no Scottish society .

Agree0 Disagree0

The head honchos are all Rangers men? The ice cream is melting, the conspiracy theory is coming back again! Timothy get a grip.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is that why Celtic all of a sudden are the team with fewest yellow and red cards? Compared to last season when they hounded the referees, sent death threats to them etc etc......

Agree0 Disagree0

Fernando Ricksen was apparently receiving an EBT when Rangers knocked Porto out of the CL.
Read that in yesterday's Scottish Daily Mail. Could still a load of dung though!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yous dont even know what yous are talking about

assembly@thebluenose.co.uk
Have you given yet, to help our beloved club?
Every little helps as they say!
Keg FOLLOW FOLLOW

Believable17 Unbelievable39

Usual Timmy posting rubbish, all over the RTC site, more interested in our club that their own. WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Waste of your time. you should have bought 2 tickets for sunday to experience how it feels to sit through a reasl game of bootball

Agree0 Disagree0

Keep your money its throwing it away

Agree0 Disagree0

Good lad, why not £100?

We need to keep getting cash into Ibrox. As soon as D&Ps wages stop we're liquidated.

Agree0 Disagree0

50 quid your aff yet heed not worth a penny!

Agree0 Disagree0

Say bye bye to your 50 bangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Donate a penny to Rangers online... costs 20pence on paypal charges to process... Hail Hail :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Somebody said I should give to the bears, so I gave £50 to the Polar Bears...all that ice melting.

Agree0 Disagree0

They do say "A fool and his money are easily parted". What happens with your donation then, will it help with pay your courts costs.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like throwing buns to a gorilla.

Agree0 Disagree0

Timmy?
I'm as blue as you pal! All the negative comments & tight ar**s that's real Rangers supporters for you! NOT....

Agree0 Disagree0

If you are a bluenose then well done. Just very wierd coming on and telling everyone like you were giving a billion....

Agree0 Disagree0

What does it matter how much is donated! We need as much money as possible. Can't believe all the negative comments, some even by so called Rangers supporters! Donate and help save our club.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes it does cost 20p to process... but payments by paypal have to be accepted at the other end of the transaction

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of you need to get real, do you honestly think that your £50 is going to help make a difference to our club which is in a shambolic state. Even after the millions are poured in by whoever buys the club, it will be many YEARS before we see any light at the end of this. Keep your £50 in your pocket, let the guys with real money to burn, invest. You need that cash more than Gers and no one will be thanking you either. Get real and i have put in thousands into Gers over many years, enough.

Rangers charged by SFA on 5 counts of Breach of Rules.

Starting to look as though there is something in this double contract story!

Believable43 Unbelievable29

Always has been, can I also ask Who suggested Whyte speak to Ticketus? Mark my words if that comes out the s**t will hit the fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Source please.

Agree0 Disagree0

It has nothing to do with the double contract story, is about craig white not being a fit a proper owner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh no honest rangers why us b

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you make this up after you had finished your colouring in book.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's on the BBC web site - stop slagging off people posting real news!

Agree0 Disagree0

One charge is about white the other 4 is the club and to the other colouring in post, the only colour i see is very black b

Agree0 Disagree0

So are the SFA going to look into this with other clubs then, or does the witchhunt by Liewell and Regan only affect Rangers?

Agree0 Disagree0

Witch hunt only directed at rangers! Use re the only 1 cheating, stop tryin to blame every1 else bar your selfs!

Agree0 Disagree0

BIG QUESTION.
why did ticketus give whyte the money ?

Agree0 Disagree0

More of the unwashed getting excited about nonsense. No 2nd contracts they didn't exist so go and enjoy a good season for your club instead of being sad and bitter.

Agree0 Disagree0

Help ma boab. Things are looking murkier.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fans only know how to be bitter!

all will be fine

watp

Agree0 Disagree0

This has nothing to do with the non existent double contract's ...read the full story ...If you really want to know what its about just ask your nearest Celtic supporter because they have turned into tax/law/judge/jury expert's this season ..I'm pretty sure they'll turn the story round to their way of thinking and think its fact .

Agree0 Disagree0

The Big Hoose will be staying open, sorry to dissapoint Celtic fans that come on here with their obsessions....(they are use to dissapointments)

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor bears having yet another pop at Celtic when it's their club breaking the rules. violins out boo hoo

Agree0 Disagree0

We get charged for bringing the game into disrepute. Be interesting to see if Gearts get done also after not paying there players on time for how many months in a row now. Ed just wondering did this rule just get added that's mentioned on bbc website. Or was it around when Lennon was abusing and bad mouthing referees most weeks until they went on strike. Did Lennon not bring the game into disrepute with his actions last year. {Ed001's Note - it has been around for years.}

Agree0 Disagree0

This is just the tip.i am f sick no more games
for me or my boys at the big house all crooks and it has been going on for years!
no more money from us.good luck and good
night.very very sad...

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts not paid their players cos you owe them £800000

Agree0 Disagree0

It's got sfa to do with any contract. It's posts Like the OP which get all the jelly and ice cream fiends excited. You'd think with a cup final 3 days away they'd be big news. Second biggest club get second rate press. A few pages in on the bottom corner of the page.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yes bring mr lennon into it it must be all his fault, remember when lennon got the touchline ban and ally got a slap on the wrist.buy yet again always someone else to blame never you. b

Agree0 Disagree0

This is Liewell feeding his puppet Regan, nothing more than a witch hunt! Anyhow, the big hoose is staying OPEN!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is Lord William Nimmo Smiths report and recommendations kicking in. There's no legal rep of Rangers/ D&P who can challenge this becAuse it was investigated by a senior law lord. That's like saying walk the guilty bast**ds into the dock before evidence is heard.
The only issue is how hard/ appropriate the penalties will be. Whyte will be banned from holding a position in Scottish football. But the SFA cannot touch him as Owner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when do we owe hearts £800,000. For Wallace? Next installments due in June. All dues paid to hearts to date.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Wallace debt for £800k makes hearts creditors. As Rangers in administration ( cannot pay its debts to creditors) the due date is irrelevant.

Agree0 Disagree0

The due date is absolutely relevant. Are you stupid? So we owe hearts 800k. No argument there. However it s nit due til june July. So even if we were not in admin hearts would still be in the poo. Contractually they never expected to receive next payment til summer so hearts finances aren't of rangers doing.

Agree0 Disagree0

To correct initial post; it's 5 charges against Rangers and specifically 2 against Whyte.
All charges very specific against specified rules. Nimmo smith knew the difference between the club and Whyte yet hapless D&P seem to be posturing all 7 should be against Whyte. Laughable.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts are a creditor and like all others will be offered the same CVA regardless of dates.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love rankers fans somehow blaming celtic for them breaking the rules

Agree0 Disagree0

When was it mentioned that rangers blame Celtic. Only that rangers seem to be the only team that have investigated and charged with bringing game into disrepute. When recently Celtic and Hearts have done so but still no investigation or charges.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Big Hoose is staying open!
Cause its a Public Toilet!

FC Porto allegedly keeping a very close eye on the 2nd contract story. Expect action to be taken against Rangers if they are found guilty. It is alledged that FR was a player with Rangers at the time who was on a 2nd contract when they beat Porto and Rangers went into the last 16 of the CL. Another space to keep watching!

Believable46 Unbelievable35

So when marseille were found guilty of cheating after beating us in the playoffs for the final we are now entitled to reclaim loss of revenue, .

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, can Porto actually do anything? Or is it UEFA we should be worried about should this be the case? {Ed001's Note - they could complain, but as someone has pointed out, there have been numerous instances of match fixing and cheating that hasn't gained anything for the clubs cheated. The most likely punishment, if any was to be given, would be being stripped of trophies won at the time.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Take it you are just another Celtic fan obsessed with rangers. Why do u not think about your own team!

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly. rangers were cheated and it was` proven. so IF and WHEN we should be found guilty i expect similar for porto. thats right . nothing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop talking craig whyte ffs give it a rest!

Agree0 Disagree0

So much speculation. I look forward to the day this is settled once and for all.

The all knowing Big John

Agree0 Disagree0

Nameless post talking sh1te

could only complain. little that would actually be done.

ryan

Agree0 Disagree0

Ooooh, i wonder who tipped them off? eh?
You know this is turning into "Dhim-world" Everywhere you look there are affiliated Celtic men, lawyers, blogging, and tweeting each other, urging one another to ensure that the DR and Current Bun,get to hear about all things Ibrox.
There's even ex "tic" managers like Strachan and others coming out with statements like"We knew they were at it! etc. You couldn't compete with the worlds most succesful club on the park, so got down and dirty off it. Enjoy your title maybe even treble, and no it isn't tainted, you's won it fair and square. Enjoy it lads and lassies, because i'll let you in to wee - "not so well kept secret" - The Famous Glasgow Rangers will be back, and sooner than people think. -Stevie-A-Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post stevie - upto real rangers minded people to make sure this world doesnt turn completly nutty and into a "dhim- world"

ryanrfc

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with above post. enjoy it you've won it. stop being so bitter. there will always be a rangers in one form or another. celtic fans are all gloating about possibility of rangers going bust. they think if that happens there will be no competition. they should be worried about what a new rangers could do not what we've already done. rangers fans will never forget the 54 titles and the players will always have their medals. the tv footage will still show gough, ferguson, amoruso and weir lifting endless trophies. we will always have our history.

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldnt deal with yous on the park eh, forgetting Strachan won 3 in a row are we

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is FR

Agree0 Disagree0

And Ben Johnson has TV footage of his 1988 100m victory, doesn't mean a thing if you are stripped of the titles

Agree0 Disagree0

Guessing Fernando Ricksen from the team sheet. I couldn't think either!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wow guys calm down check my post it says alledgedly....do people struggle with the meaning of that word?

Agree0 Disagree0

I have posted about this but in a domestic sense before wife is a law clerk and her firm is as this article says awaiting the findings of second contract investigation. If found guilty of second contracts there are now 7 clubs signed up to pursue massive damages for lost revenues. Mad Vlad initiated this and expect more clubs to join if found guilty. the latest story this one could push damages claimed to figures beyond the big tax case amount. for anyone burying thier head in the sand the story about porto comes from phil mc ghlion (spelling crap i know) the man who broke the big tax case story that most rangers supporters trashed at the time because lawyers smell blood and are ruthless if they think there is a buck in this and they will drive this more than anyone wifes firm is in talks with a number of other scottish clubs. and remember the other bonus for other clubs here the longer they keep rangers down financially the longer they do better in europe. and lastly if porto have jumped on this you can be sure the lawyers involved are looking for others to sign up

rango bango

Agree0 Disagree0

Timmy shot down in flames again. Away back to your melting icecream.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic couldn't compete on the park back then because rangers cheated Celtic and the rest of European football with the two contracts! Porto might well complain but the fact a European club will do so will bring into view of eufa and normal media who continue to dig. Rangers fans need to wake up to the fact that liquidation is a mere sideshow to the biggest scandal in European football that's about to break

Agree0 Disagree0

Once again Phil two names appears in a story about Ranger's ..The guy is obsessed..should concentrate on his social work career

Agree0 Disagree0

Now why would the SFA/FIFA bother investigating when obviously they should just ask the experts in finance and lawyers that frequent Parkhead. There is a term Innocent until proved guilty-Rangers have been accused of cheating but nothing has been proved, if The gers are found guilty then by all means go crying to whoever about how ra sellick have been cheated, but if they are not guilty then you should just get on with things. Of course like most things if Rangers do win then it will no doubt have the paranoid mob scream conspiracy again

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic couldnt compete back then cause they were PISH, infact, they still are PISH, your only winning the league this year as Rangers are in dissarray..FACT.

Agree0 Disagree0

If and I mean if Rangers used two contracts how does this mean we cheated? We paid the players and the players won titles. Is that not what every team does??

Agree0 Disagree0

Worlds most successful on the park!?! Haaahaaa next season you lot will have jumpers for goal posts ! GBNL

Agree0 Disagree0

Can anyone tell me who is going to buy the club, pay off the clubs owed money, pay the 9 to 15 million outstanding on this years tax, pay the council their money, pay the players their wages, invest in a team. Remember this is a club who has sold their season tickets for 4 years, sold their catering, sold their merchandise.

This is a huge pot of money and we have forgotten about the big tax case.

I see no hope for the club, with 50% of the fans saying it will be al right whilst dismissing every report from every source.

Remember nobody would invest when the debt was 18 million.

there is only one way out of this and it may be less pain to start again over the next 5 years rather than be saddled with debt for a decade or more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah like porto

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeez, how can you not get it? The players were being subsidised by us taxpayers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pish but on the way to a treble, no debt and a first team worth millions on the park, rangers cheated because they didn't declare all the money they paid their players when their opponents done business in good faith, listen to the facts and stop being sheep waiting on the big man wi the money to come and help you's. Rangers are uninvestable

Agree0 Disagree0

To the guy who likes to use FACT as though it in some way makes him accurate, the only fact in any of this is that Celtic are winning this years title because they went on a lengthy unbeaten run. Rangers may be in disarray but you need to win all your games. Celtic were in disarray for much or Rangers' 9 in row but it didnt tain that either. One other fact though. David Murray has at least admitted players were paid outwith contracts. The EBT case will be determined by a legal decison if these payments were part of 2nd contract or otherwise. for the game itself though, it matters only that he paymenrs were made. These are against our rules.

Agree0 Disagree0

Without trying to repeat myself, it doesn't matter if Celtic were in disarray or not rangers had a bigger transfer budget than everyone else by using tax payers money to outbid the rest, to the "fact" on registering players, they were overseen by the sfa but worse than that the man that oversaw it was there when the bet's were implemented!

Agree0 Disagree0

This is turning into a witch hunt, how far back can you go with these thing.
Remember the case of Bernard Tappey (spelling) who waned Marseillaise back in 92 when he bribed his way to the champions league final to rangers cost.
Would Rangers then not have claim on that.
Assuming of course that none of the rangers team at that time were on double contracts at that time. Wht an irony would that be ha ha ! 1trueblue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Trevor steven went to marseilles for 5 mill came back for 1.5 mill in16 months thought that was strange.Souness in 2 jobs in english football blackburn and newcastle gave SIR DUPED MURRAYS team 7 mill b ferguson 4 mill l amaruso 3 mill tugay and the classic ja boumsong singed for 0 got 8 mill 9 months later the whole rotten evil tax dodging empire must be called to account not for the pleasure of us TIMMYS but for TRUTH JUSTCE AND THE AMERICAN WAY lol

Agree0 Disagree0

You sound like a right yank with that last statement..the American way ...lol......

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as I'm aware Marseille were found guilty of domestic cheating, according to a poster in another thread in their game against Valenciennes, pending when that game was played it may or may not have impacted on Rangers, truth is I don't know but bottom line, they were found guilty within their domestic league and stripped of the title accordingly.
As for the guy claiming on the park (in Scotland) it was eleven v eleven, true enough but where people have an issue with what may (or may not) have been going on at Ibrox at the time is that without the use of EBT's and/or two contracts Rangers either couldn't afford or attract some players that they did sign. If the figure of £49m is to believed that is a lot of players for a lot of years. That in itself has longer term implications, the trophies won generated more cash and between that and the money saved on EBT's etc this money was used again and again to perpetuate the whole thing. This is what is the concern of most people, if true and if it is proven, it is financial doping.

Ticketus attempt to have case adjourned but Administrators win right to go ahead with attempt to invalidate 4 years of season tickets bought for more than £20m by Ticketus.

Case will drag on for a number of weeks. So no bidders will know status of Ticketu s case ahead of tomorrow's deadline.

Believable26 Unbelievable19

Case expected to last 2 days

Agree0 Disagree0

But won't start for at least 2 weeks

Agree0 Disagree0

It started today!!

Agree0 Disagree0

What ever the initial outcome this case will drag on for months... whoever losses the initial judgement will appeal to a higher court for a review.... which will take several weeks maybe months to list... if ticketus loss, watch them go for an injunction ruling to prevent the administators doing anything with the freed liability.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Mar 2012 14:30:18
Ticketus arguing at court that the season tickets are owned by them are not loans but assets just the same as Ibrox or Murray Park are.

D&P described to the Judge the deal needing to be cancelled as crucial to the value of RFC in any sale as it accounts for nearly half of RFC's revenue for the next 4 years.

Believable7 Unbelievable9

The admins have been told that it will be at least 2 weeks before a decision is made at the court of session.

Nae sale tomorrow then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thing is, how could ticketus buy Rangers season tickets from a guy who didnt own Rangers at the time they were bought? CW had that £24 million for our season tickets 28 days before he actually bought Rangers......how is that even possible?

Agree0 Disagree0

Little precedent for being able to breach such a deal, so legal tussle could drag on for weeks.

Agree0 Disagree0

The ticket sales are only an asset if they have been secured against assets of rfc ( ibrox and mp). future sales of a company have no asset value if the company is liquidated.
it is logical to assume ticketus insisted on a floating charge over the assets of rfc to protect themselves from the btc.

Agree0 Disagree0

Were ticketus secured against Ibrox and MP? Even if Rangers were liquidated the tickets would still be valid because they are for whoever will be playing at Ibrox next year? Just a thought.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be interesting how the Blue Knights proposal stacks up. Is it a condition of Ticketus puting in fresh capital to the purchase on the basis that the full amount loaned to CW is paid back over time, in which case RFC will carry this debt on their balance sheet for a very long time? If it's found that the Ticketus debt can be cancelled by RFC and it's CW's debt, will Ticketus still stay part of Blue Knights or withdraw? If they withdraw, will the remaining Blue Knights have enough working capital to purchase and run the club? Interesting times ahead....

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems that in effect Ticketus paid off our debts to Loyds via Craig Whyte. So if Ticketus are deemed to have no hold over the season tickets and instead it is Whyte who owes them does that not mean that Whyte paid off our debts and in that case surely it would mean that he has the rights in terms of secured creditor or the like? Or has Whyte been duped into duping Ticketus to pay off our bank debt? All very confusing.

Agree0 Disagree0

The Blue Knights might be in a better position as they would not need to service & repay the Ticketus debt.

There could also be other potential investors who don't want on-board just now due to Ticketus being involved.

The Pilot!

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a season ticket holder in BF have had the same seat for the past 6 years i know believe ticketus are laying claim to that seat which they purchased at a discounted cost so if they want to see my fat a55 in that seat again i want the same deal as them i want it at a vastly reduced cost say £50 per season for the next 4 years

Wounded Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

If u ask me al ticketus have done is gave craig whyte a loan to buy rangers so its him that is liable and not rangers u can not secure against an asset that u dont acutally own at the time of applying for aloan that like me saying to them all give u my house in spain that is non exsitent if u give me the money thats not how it works so its there own fault they have
got involved in this mess and i am comfident we will get out this deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Confusing!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly my nut is done in, back and forth we are getting somewhere, We are Going Down, All is going to be al right, Oh S**t big trouble now, surely to God Rangers have a legal team who advise on such serious matters, it won't surprise me to wake up tomorrow to find that infact Rangers are due a £20 million inTax rebates, Craig Whyte had infact banked the ticketus money in the wrong bank account and it is all there, and the Electricity board cut off the supply to Ibrox over a £200 bill. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON.
Kev.

Agree0 Disagree0

So if Ticketus deal is unwound and CW purchase using company assets deemed illegal, my understanding is that Lloyds would have to hand the cash back to CW to pay Ticketus and RFC have the debt with Lloyds back on the books! Only cash where it needs to be after all this is the original £1 coin which we assume is with SDM.

Agree0 Disagree0

No, the £1 would have to go back to CW!

Agree0 Disagree0

Heres something that has been bugging me.
OK cw borrowed the money using tickets he did not own.
Has anyone concidered what he has done/did after taking control.
After the sale from sdm cw owned the club and tickets could he not have then re structered the agreement

Agree0 Disagree0

Re-you cannot secure an asset u dont actually own --- is that not what you do when applying for a mortgage...you see something( a house or business) you want you then apply for the money to pay for said property you then negotiate deal and lender gives you the relevent funds to pay for the property once it is established that the seller has accepted the price..in CW,s case there was no other buyer for Rangers at the time so therefore ticketus had no reason not to give him the money as the deal was a slam dunk and they wewre going to make a tidy profit from their initial outlay...Johnny G

Agree0 Disagree0

If it is all found to be illegal.. and lloyds give the money back to CW who then repays ticketus and the lloyds debt goes back on the rangers books,

does that mean that SDM is then back as owner of Rangers??

Agree0 Disagree0

CW can not personally buy the shares of a company using the company's own money !

He must have bought the shares for a pound, the same overdraft with the same floating charge on the assets( Ibrox and MP) was transfered from SDM to CW.

He then gets the Ticketus money and pays off the overdraft and the floating charge is taken over by Ticketus.

CW has spent £1 on RFC and he wil llose his £1, he never put a dime extra in nor did he take a dime extra out, I guarantee.

Agree0 Disagree0

CW did not need a loan (I hope) to buy Rangers shares, it was only a pound ffs !

He paid the company's overdraft off with company funds, nothing illegal in that.
He obtained these funds by selling future ticket sales and the lender insisted on a floating charge ( Ibrox and mp)>

Simple really, he persuaded LLoyds to let him take over the overdraft because he showed them the 24 million offer from Ticketus.

Quite clever.

Agree0 Disagree0

RFC owe Ticketus 24 million pound. They paid the money in good faith. No judge is going to write this off on some technicality. This will drag on for years...if Rangers could drag on for years. As it stands ticketus should own rangers unless the taxman closes it down.

CW will never getaway with his dubious dealings

Agree0 Disagree0

Thre is only one answer to this debate and that is what did Craig White secure the money against he says he is liable for the ticket us money! Untill we find out we wont no. I dont think he could have secured against Ibrox at the time of the deal although he could have secured it against his Company and then transfered RFC to this Company. But he does own the Company he did pay £1 for it so is now the legal owner.

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen you keep saying white owes the money to ticket us and not rangers, he borrowed the money against 100.000 seats at ibrox,do you think he borrowed it against 100.000 seats in his office.or if you say it is season tickets where in any of his other part of his company dose he have season tickets b

Agree0 Disagree0

He owns rangers. he can sell any part he wants.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ticketus is the hot potato.
Everyone including Murray says they never knew. What if they did know?
Ticketus is being invited into bed by P Murray because, yes they have a huge financial hold over the club and most importantly they know who put Whyte in contact with them.
Whyte had never used Ticketus before. D Murray had previously used Ticketus.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte bought Rangers for £1.
Paying the Lloyds debt was one of a number of side 'agreements'. But he bought the club for £1.

Agree0 Disagree0

Internal Rangers business, rangers sell future seats to pay off Rangers historic debt to Lloyds.
You don't even need to bother with CW being involved.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look, Lloyds have nothing to do with Ticketus. Zero. They got £18M that they were owed and there is no possible way they can be legally obliged to part with that money

Me being stupid maybe, but if were out of admin. doesn't that mean CW is back in charge? Also can HMRC not now appoint there own administrators if we go back in?
Don

Believable27 Unbelievable22

Technically yes, but D&P will likely now make sure they have the right documents (if they want to be paid!!)

Agree0 Disagree0

You're not out of admin dummy. Rangers have still suffered an insolvency event and the fact that the FSA were not notified means it is a technicallity. HMRC will not contest the appointment of Duff and Phelps and I'm sure they are more than happy with the work the've done so far ().

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a technicality, Duff and Phelps will be appointed and the appointment will be back dated.

Agree0 Disagree0

D&P obtained court order on 9th March that proctects the adminisitration from creditors pending Monday's hearing, so no creditor can move against them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Duff and phelps have taken management of the club whilst this technicality is sorted. craig whyte wont be back

Duff & Phelps - They sound like a comedy act. Well they keep on Duffing and they need help! What a fiasco! Whats next!

Agree0 Disagree0

Porto will see you lot away if the two contracts are found to be true. hail Hail

Agree0 Disagree0

Its such a small technicallity it will take TWO DAYS legal work - and the costs involved to sort it out.

We did not file with FSA is all they have to say - Judge say sorted! Case dismissed. It should be 30 seconds work...

But our justice allows anyone else who turns up on the day to argue the toss - and two days are put aside for the arguements which will ensue - with a top laywer for D&P to defend thier rights

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig Whyte will never get a say in any dealings to do with gers again. Inless he is aloud out of JAIL because believe you me that is where,he is going.HOPEFULLY FOR A LONG TIME Signed THE GHOST> I Remember me ,From his past.ROT IN H-LL.

Agree0 Disagree0

CW has done nothing illegal to my knowledge, he bought the club for a pound, sold future tickets to pay off overdraft. RFC got knocked out of CL incurring a 10-15 million loss, after January transfer window failed to recover this loss, he called in Administrrator.

Agree0 Disagree0

Regarding comment C.W. has done nothing wrong.Where does this person read watch TV. Documentaries @news.C.W. will not run from this one.2. Years bread @water. I agree with THE GHOST.

Duff & Phelps at Court of Session this morning and confident of having the Ticketus deal thrown out.....guess they just need to be formally appointed as Administrators now for everything to be hunky dory!

Believable16 Unbelievable35

Ticketus deal thrown out? are they not part of the consortium of the Blue Knights?

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not to get it thrown out, its supposedly to suspend it. Instead of them getting 100,00 season tickets from now till 2015 D&P are trying to suspend it so they don't start getting it till 2015.

"The administrators believe are seeking legal permission to breach the deal for four years’ future season ticket sales. This action does not mean Duff and Phelps are questioning whether or not the agreement is legally binding, but the insolvency firm are seeking the court's approval to not pay Ticketus the money earned from season ticket sales until 2015."

Donny

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought cw bought the club for a £1, and the ticketus money was part of a debt restructuring therefore cw still owns the club he bought for a pound. how can he not return if he wants to regardless of d and p.

Agree0 Disagree0

He can't return because he's already called in the administrators. If he hadn't then HMRC were off to court to do it for him. It's a legal process when a company isn't paying (can't pay) its debts and makes sure CW doesn't choose how any remaining money gets spent.

Agree0 Disagree0

The complexity of this mess is mind boggling and I can only make sense of it by going backwards in time before CW took over.

Rangers had an 18 million overdraft secured against Ibrox and Murray Park.
In effect Rangers were worth £1.
Exit from group stages of CL and cups ensures a 10-15 million loss for the club in 2011 ( yes I know its crazy).
Bank would have not increased overdraft and SDM would have put club into administration. What would Rangers have been worth even ignoring BTC ?

Now we are expected to believe offers will come in ranging from 20-100 million. It just doesn't add up, if Rangers were worth £1 a year ago and have lost another 15 million then why has their value risen ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Duff and duffer being confident about any thing does not fill me with confidence ! they seem to be blundering their way through this , OR are they playing a blinder

Agree0 Disagree0

So, we go bust in 2015 now? thats gonna tempt investors

Rangers are set to launch a raid for Motherwell midfielder Stpehen Jennings as soon as their transfer embargo is lifted.

The SPL giants will have to rebuild their squad in the summer following the financial woes that are currently tearing the club apart.
jennings will be available on a free transfer (talksport)

Believable10 Unbelievable40

"launch a raid"? - pass the hat around more like. Unbeleivable.........

Agree0 Disagree0

Talk about re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titantic!

Talks**te more like it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hardly think there is anyone at Rangers devoting any time or energy on next season, they are currently occupied with more pressing matters, like imminent liquidation.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah bit early to be looking at possible transfer targets lol. Hopefully D and P will have the ticketus deal made null n void. Just how could CW sell our season tickets BEFORE he actually purchased the club is beyond me.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope Govan Billdodgers are successful in their pursuit of Jennings , what a signing ! Neil Lennon will be s**ttin his kecks lol .

Agree0 Disagree0

Jennings is nothing more than a hammer thrower so unless we are going to get rid of Big Jig I cannot see the sense in this.

Agree0 Disagree0

He'll be retired by then.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as he is prepared to accept a 75% reduction on any agreed salary, then this may be an option

Pass the biscuit tin my man and we can see if we have a spare pound to sign him.

shoud brian kennedy's bid to buy rangers be successful he will lure graeme souness back to the club as well as pffering walter smith a director of football role.

Believable20 Unbelievable18

Good thinking that lol, 2 of the guys who overspent to put you in the situation in the first place back in charge, put Murray in charge of contracts and you are back to q

Agree0 Disagree0

More chiefs than indians. That's really going to help the wage bill. Oh, I know lets get them in on an EBT......

Agree0 Disagree0

No. BK's offer is unlikely to be attractive to D&P anyway. If, and it's a long shot, BK does end up owning Rangers he'll cave to call in a lot of favours to get people like Smith on board as these poeple don't come cheap. His reluctant ownership would likely only be temporary.

Agree0 Disagree0

Graeme Souness is his best m8 but looks like hes blowing smoke up his own pipe to me could be wrong. My favored option would be Blue Knights (football side) AEG(maximizing stadium income) but that would probably be too simple for this conundrum

Check this link in today's Daily Rubbish. Now two American firms allegedly interested in bidding, though I'm not sure I like the sound of Club 9 Sports. Also, the Blue Knights bid, Brian Kennedy plus the Singapore bid. Surely the administrators will look on one of these favourably?
I posted the other day enthusiastically dismissing gloating Celtic fans and got some flak.

In life, you have to be positive and never give in. I'm not deluded and don't think it will be easy whoever buys, but if the debt can be wiped out/resolved at least there will be a chance to run the club within its means. If this means no more big money buys so be it. Let's be honest, the OF will never win the Champions League in a million years. Europa League maybe. The days of excessive wages to prima donna players must be banished for ever.

Believable33 Unbelievable15

The most positive and realistic outcome will be a CVA and a sale over the next few months, assuming they do not run out of working capital before this happens. The biggest obstacle to this process is HMRC who may refuse to accept the CVA.

Agree0 Disagree0

I like your post and like you I don't expect us to do well in Europe so if ever we do it's a bonus. Some fans expectation are way to much. I just want us to come back debt free and profit making and if we only succeed at home then so be it.

Agree0 Disagree0

When did you ever make a profit?

Agree0 Disagree0

All going well and its £1.00 CVA then Brian Kennedy will get my vote he is a solid business man who will take us forward .
Im very wary of the blue knights if im honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post - im also wary of the blue knights, i dont think they as a collective have the clout to keep us going, also te share issue buy in is reportedly a minimum £1000. bit steep after season book, away tickets, travel - considering most of us have families. i would back the americans or kennedy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Here we go again, sniff of money and all caution is thrown to the wind. Who ever takes over has to budget for the worst case, HMRC win and demand all the money owed, roughly 85 million. Now keep that in mind because who ever takes over must be able to put that bill to bed before even taking into consideration the monthly running cost of 1 million. We will not be out of admin before the end of April so the sums keep adding up ergo the 5 months between the closure and starting dates is an addition al 5 million. This means that we are lookiing for someone who can sustain a out of pocket of 90 to 100 million pounds before there is any revenue generated at the start of the season. Also consider perhaps the guys who can afford this type of payment will want to maximise Ibrox for cash generation, in short Rangers will be a small part of a big entertainment wheel (other sports i.e. boxing, concerts etc)and the revenues will not go towards, building the team but to reward those who have put up the money to buy what we know as Glasgow Rangers. The aware that these operators dont care about Glasgow Rangers football club, but the money potential that Ibrox and Murray Park have in staging events to generate cash for the investors So please take time to stop and think about the why's and wherefore's before accepting "benefactors" put forward by the popular press

Agree0 Disagree0

Finally some rangers fans talking sense and seeing that all will not be great after buy out but at least they will survive.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as the old school are removed.
If the old board remain there will be little change.

Business as usual by the members who cant recall.

Agree0 Disagree0

Glad to see a sensible comment. The whole thing is a mess and everyday brings more stones being overturned. I'm from other side of City but can't believe that SDM felt he was "duped" by CW. This is a man who made millions so surely not dumb. No, it's time to take it on the chin and then make the best of what's left. Rangers (in whatever shape, form or name) will be back as other clubs have done in the past. I feel for the real supporters as I know how they feel having seen Celtic so close to this situation.

Agree0 Disagree0

I applaud your new sense of realism, however there is one undeniable fact, Rangers was worth 18 million one year ago and has lost a further 15 million this year. Why would anyone pay more for a company that is now worth less, it simply does not add up.
