17 Apr 2018 13:30:24
McBurnie is away to Leeds and some English clubs will be looking at mulumbu no doubt about it

16 Apr 2018 11:57:28
Rumours rife murty has stood down anybody seen anything.

16 Apr 2018 12:09:15
If true well done g on your time as interim coach hopefully u stay on as youth coach again

16 Apr 2018 13:12:36
Problem is who will stand up, sounds like kenny millers mrs has a set on her maybe she would kick there asses.

16 Apr 2018 14:56:28
If murty is a way. Who will take over king. murty should stay till end of season as we promised.

16 Apr 2018 15:11:07
He should go now! 😡🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

16 Apr 2018 16:03:15
If he wants season books sold he shall move him today.

16 Apr 2018 17:22:11
If true Jimmy Nicholl and JJ should take us to end of season

16 Apr 2018 17:59:10
Jimmy and jj and kenny till the next few weeks get the new manager in soon as to asses the team the board have goat to get this right in every way because we as a fan base and a club have suffered enough we have good players we just need the biggest kick up the dung pipe

16 Apr 2018 18:27:50
If murty is away we need the new management team in now to give them a chance to see properly what they are dealing with 5 competitive games will give them a good idea of what's required and is a good head start for the new campaign King must know who he wants and if they really want the job they will jump at the chance to manage our great club.

16 Apr 2018 19:21:41
I know what you're saying HighlandBear81,but imho no good sought after manager will come in this late in the season! If its not murty 'till the end of the campaign,
then it will be personnel from within, who will take the reigns until the end of the season!

16 Apr 2018 19:46:42
Get murty out and new manager in for last games to give him competative games to assess squad to get the bad one's out now it makes sense so next season we can hit the ground running.

16 Apr 2018 20:06:39
I agree with supercooper. No one we really want will come now . I say if Murty has to go which I now believe he must. Kenny Miller should take over in meantime

16 Apr 2018 19:57:29
No good sought after manager will come to us because the director of football has said that if the manager wants a player but he (Mark Allen) feels there is a player in the academy who in 18 months time will be good enough to play in the first team then that’s the route we will be going down. He should not have any say whatsoever in who the manager has playing in the first team and that is a major problem for us trying to get any new manager in and I believe is one of the main reasons our number 1 target knocked us back in December.

16 Apr 2018 22:40:57
Thats a blessing mate, that delboy mcinnes knocked us back! Number one target, i'm laughing my head off at the thought! The only thing mcinnes is no.1 at, is being a total bottler mate! Big bullet dodged there!

17 Apr 2018 01:27:32
But your choice isn't doing too well, supercooper, is he? Lost the dressing room, causing friction, gutless tactics, gutless response, a waffling, stumbling, youth coach who is miles out of his depth.

17 Apr 2018 02:46:40
Couldn't agree more. McInnes arriving would just have put the tin lid on it, as the saying goes. To be fair it looks as if he actually was the number one target which, if true, fills me with dread for the decision making still to come.

17 Apr 2018 04:17:45
Apparently kenny’s getting his jotters today and Lee Wallace has been suspended by the club. A farce from top to bottom. Time for protests. We’ve been an embarrassment long enough now.

17 Apr 2018 05:36:02
Its obvious that a lot of fans are frustrated with the uncertainty and lack of transparency of the board in finding a new Gaffer. The players and management are letting us down. I hear a lot of fans saying they want to boycott, revolt etc.
But I have one question, hopefully someone can answer. Wasn't Club 1872 formed to help preserve the Club and give the fans a voice? What are they doing to represent out dissatisfaction? Instead of working on fan dream experiences. I seriously would like to know. Thank you in advance for answering that for me.

17 Apr 2018 08:03:07
I'm glad people are starting to question this board. They've been the total opposite of the open honest and transparent board we were promised

16 Apr 2018 09:47:57
Something clearly isn't right in the dressing room and that must be down to the manager. I thought we made good signings in January with Goss, Murphy, Docherty and Cummings all brought in. We've played well in some games but something isn't right. I don't believe we are as bad as 4-0 suggests. Watching the highlights again there is no way either of the penalties should have been given, very soft. How Morelos didn't score three goals I'll never know. Gordon is either brilliant against us or lucky. I put this down to a very bad day at the office and hopefully changes can be made for the last five games to ensure we finish 2nd. Get rid of Martin as he is a liability.

16 Apr 2018 11:15:41
Would have more respect for you if you weren’t trying to give excuses both penalties were correct. Not heard a single ex player including a number of your own say different you got pumped end of totally outclassed by a better team

16 Apr 2018 11:17:59
Doiger ask yourself if that had happened to us in their box and they weren't given We would all be up in arms Mcrorrie penalty was as clear as it can be never saw holts as I'd chucked it by then
I'm surprised at your post you're generally reasonable with your posts but think you're wrong here bud

16 Apr 2018 11:18:50
Should have taken the £11 million for Morelos but that's hindsight.

16 Apr 2018 11:25:57
Well said. Yesterday was terrible no one can question that but there have been positives since January. We need three high quality new players (as a minimum) to go straight into the team, there are around 8 positions where we have players who in the right set up can do a job. At this point it is essential that everyone holds their nerve and doesn't get hysterical. We mustn't through the baby out with the bathwater here, we must build on the progress that has been made and not go back to square one yet again.

16 Apr 2018 11:37:50
There was no £11m for Morelos!

16 Apr 2018 11:57:53
Doiger sorry mate but in my opinion you are totally wrong, we are lucky that they never scored more than 4, they strolled through the game and never got out of second gear, first half we couldn't pass, kept giving the ball away, didn't get the ball to Murphy or Morelos the list just goes on,
As soon as Alves came on the defence looked more organised and he was winning everything in the air Martin was having another nightmare game,
We are all hurting after yesterday but at least we all now know that we need a manager who can motivate the players,

16 Apr 2018 11:58:58
ok first of all we were atrocious and they deserved to win absl no question they strolled it and the score cld have been bigger. fact

however 1st pen was a tug a yard outside the box take off your green tinted specs timmy

if that was a pen for us the open line wld be in meltdown with all the usual conspiracies and establishment refs guff . it was a red card but never ever a pen.

that decision would not have changed result but it was still wrong decision just like sterling pen for man city at spurs - it was a yard outside the box

if you can’t see that have another look i know a good guide dog if you need it

16 Apr 2018 11:59:44
Penalties were both correct decisions stone wall we just didn’t turn up tactics were poor no idea why we played Halliday I know Windass is not everyone’s cup f tea but the thing he can do is run with the ball getting us up the park, we were stuck in our own half Celtic were all over us, but I agree with you TomVallance we can just condem all players we showed in the home game we can compete with them to a degree, they are still a good bit ahead of us, but with a good manager (I’ve no idea who) who can get the best out of players and three or four quality additions especially at the back and a midfield player who can compete with Brown we would at least make a game of it, Murty has been hung out to dry by this board he’s never a manager he was the U20s coach for Christ sake, theboard really need to take a look at themselves that three managers they have appointed wasted millions and we are no further forward unless there are changes soon we could end not even in a Euro spot and next season will be a fight for second again, my fear is fans will drift away season ticket sales will decline I’m old enough to remember sitting inside Ibrox with less than 20000 fans, the ones I have spoke to are loosing the will my renewal is just short of £600 not cheap but I fear we are becoming the new Leeds Utd a big club who got it wrong fans drift and the ones who are left just accept it, right now we need leaders right from the boardroom to the pitch, look at yesterday we had no leaders on the pitch no one to drive us on a manager who doesn’t command respect, why did the board come out with that statement last week basically saying a new manager would come in next season we were about to play our biggest game and the manager was undermined, we have to stand firm we need to stay together and the board need to act

16 Apr 2018 14:35:52
I agree thinkaboutit, I have followed Rangers for 57 years, and this is the worst team I have seen, and there have been one or two horrendous displays. Murty's tactics were totally wrong, we sat too deep and against this Celtic side that is suicidal. I thought that Tavernier was the only player with some sort of pass mark yesterday, Halliday reacted through embarrassment when he raged after being taken off, I personally would have taken Dorrans off instead of Candeis as he offered nothing all game, as for Martin enough has been said already. What has Cummings got to do to get some game time just now, the lad proved often enough against us that he can be problematic in big games, Morelos has had his chance and blown it in the big games, he tries hard, but whatever was offered from China or wherever should have been accepted. I look at the journeymen that Motherwell have brought in, in particular the man who replaced Moult, and wonder what the hell Mark Allen is getting paid for. If the rumours of GM having stepped down, I wouldn't blame him, and thank him for at least trying to get things sorted, too much for him though.

16 Apr 2018 15:38:56
Haven't seen or read anything bout Murty going back to youth but we can only hope. Silence from board regarding successor is deafening.

16 Apr 2018 17:49:43
They were both 100% penalties that is a fact

16 Apr 2018 19:40:19
If Murty didn’t fancy the job then all he had to say was no thanks, he didn’t and it’s not worked out for him. He shouldn’t be above criticism though.

17 Apr 2018 09:42:26
Got to laugh at that Trev, comment, a tug outside the box means it wasn't a penalty, maybe if Dembelle had been tripped outside the box and then he had stumbled inside the box, you might have an argument, but a tug and then he ran strongly into the box before getting more or less wrestled by McCrorie, are you allowed to drive with those blue lenses?

16 Apr 2018 09:05:14
Big Bruno carried himself with more class than our entire management team. Comforting Halliday and Candeias then actually trying to lead on the park. He hasn't been as good as we had hoped but respect to the big man.

Anyway, Halliday losing the rag, Candieas losing the rag, Docherty fighting Morelos in the tunnel. it is obvious tbere are players who care about the club although not all of them are good enough to pull on the jersey (Halliday) and players who don't. I would be shipping of Morelos as soon as possible, we need big game players.

As for Murty, he has been awful and glad the wool has been pulled from over people's eyes now. The dressing room looks to have turned against him. We need a great manager to challenge them. I would be looking at -

Clarke
Bilic
Preudhomme

Please no Pardew or FdB.

16 Apr 2018 11:17:30
Wish everyone would stop getting on Morelos back, yes he’s not scored against them but how many of the others have. It’s not a 1 Man team, he tries his heart out. First season here and he’s second top goal scorer.

Since dorrans has came back in to the team we have weakened it. I’m not worried about our strikers etc I’m worried about our midfield not one of them is even good enough to get on the bench.

16 Apr 2018 11:31:37
So72 why billic but not fdb?

16 Apr 2018 13:53:28
So72, Well said, spot on with big Bruno he came on and showed his class and experience yesterday, won everything in the air and organised the defence, we are selecting players like Halliday who are Rangers fans but don't have skill, class or experience, headless chickens comes to mind, and by the way Martin had another nightmare game

16 Apr 2018 15:14:50
Frank de Boer's last two jobs have been a disaster. Bilic's West ham stint ended badly but he had character and definitely the fire to put people in their place

16 Apr 2018 18:35:46
What do all you bears think about Mick McCarthy?

16 Apr 2018 08:35:12
Lot of rumours going about Murty has been told he’s back to the 20s so where or who does that leave in charge

Don’t you think it’s strange they played 4-3-3 yesterday and correct if me if am wrong but is that not what de Boer plays his system if he’s going to be the manager just shows the players in the team are capable of doing it

16 Apr 2018 11:23:43
Ajax and De Boer play 433 what I found strange was when he took Haliday off when all he needed to do was move Dorrans up the park to form a 3 with Candeias and Murphy and keep Docherty and Haliday as defensive midfielders but he elected to keep Dorrans as a defensive midfielder and neutralising his attacking qualities
