According to tomorrows sunday mail Whyte will be given rangers 15million to spend. I dunno about you but from whats been mentioned throughout the summer i can see it being spent as follows..

£2million - Carlos Cuellar
£2million - David Goodwillie
£1.5million - Lee Wallace
£1million - Rodriguez or Bartley on loan.
Loan - Weiss
Also another winger and a midfeilder.
take of the ortiz transfer from the 15mill also.

once u take off signing on fees for mcgregor, whitattaker, davis, weir and bougherra the £15mill is gone...

I'd love Zairi to come to Rangers but as you said, everything has gone quiet. If Rangers make a move for Estigarribia then I doubt Ally will buy another winger.

Whyte will tell fans in tomorrows Sunday Mail that the Cuellar and Bartley deals are close to completion. Not sure if the Bartley deal is a loan or permanent move. A bid for Estigaribbia will be made after the Copa America. Rangers transfer kitty has also been revealed as a front loaded £15m.

Much as I like n respect big Davie I hope it's more of a coaching role for the young guys coming through n to help out if main cb gets injured he's slowing down all the time and I'd hate him to become a scapegoat if things wer goin wrong I say this with the utmost respect for the big man he's been a great servant to the club steph

Disagree m8 weir keeps the defence in place and there is no one better at reading the game. he is slow and euroupe may find him out but he still strolls the spl. hooper turned him last season but it was more of a vv good goal than a vv bad mistake.

Temp is NOT a Rangers fan. I grew up in the same area as him and even played for the same boys club as him(St Bridgets boys club). He is a dyed in the wool Celtic fan. I hate to say this bout wee Temp buy he ain't gd enough to play for the Gers. does anyone know much about kane hemmings, could he feature in the first team this year?

Hes a big striker, decent finisher.. sat on the bench a few games at the end of the season.. possibly feature in league cup games but a sub at best most games...

Hemmings is under 19's very gifted young man and i for 1 believe he should feature heavily next year

Seen his goal against linfield. good finish and looks to have pace he also set up jela for his goal

I totally agree he s a very good prospect indeed would love to see him feature a few times this season i think players like hutton, wylde, ness have proved we have a very good future coming through

I seriously hope he goes, he has a powerful left foot but he has horrible first touch and generally woeful ball control and is forever giving the ball away.

Seriously doubt he'll be sold this season though and deffo not for as much as over 2M

I would sell edu for that as i think jamie ness is a better player and will fill edu's place in the midfield £2.5 m and put it towards a top drawer midfielder

I think Edu could be really good when he's confident you seen it end of last season when he did lose the ball he had a desire and won it right back and the Rangers fans were cheering him seemed to give him confidence but if someone offered over 2M for him he should defo go.

He was terrible last season and only remained in the team because Ness was injured and there was nobody else. He was a passenger and we won the title, not with him, despite him His goal against Valencia was good i suppose. (but he scored an own goal in the same game)

To say that Whyte is a penny pincher who doesn't know how to run a football club shows you don't know what the hell you're talking about. He and the Rangers backroom staff have their valuation of players and they quite rightly won't be taken to the cleaners by these greedy clubs and players. If you think that the way to run any Scottish club is to pay over the odds for players and give them vast wages to try compete with clubs in the likes of Spanish and English top flight, when we really don't have anywhere near the same amount of money then you really need a reality check

Realistic Signings for us:
DEFENDERS
Cuellar - (2M) Fee agreed so personal terms the only possible stumbling block
Wallace -(1-1.5M) Not looking likely at the moment but could replace papac or fill the left mid position which I feel is a problem
Rodriguez - (500k) Cheap but good squad player and could flourish under the guidance of Big Davie & Carlos if we get him
Bartley - (Loan/1-2M) Wants to come back and is maybe surplus to requirements at Arsenal.
MIDFIELDERS
Bedoya - (1-2M )young American who is improving could be good squad player
Davidson -(500k) A lot of talk about him in the last few days. Could be useful player in the SPL
Eagles - (2-3M) Very unlikely considering he rejected us before but with the new owner maybe we could tempt him with some extra cash. Or if Eddie Howe wants Big Kyle so badly he could offer him in some sort if swap deal.
FORWARDS
Miller - Personally I don't want him back but I can't c a better option if the Goodwillie deal is a no go. Proven in SPL and would give us competition with Jela and Laff.
