I am staying in a hotel outside Birmingham called St Georges Park that is an England FA centre. The facilities are phenomenal.
And surprise surprise who do I see in the restaurant but MW the magic hat.
Before we all start adding 2 and 2 and get 25
He was not sitting with any player but he was with 3 gentleman. As you would
conducted himself with class.
This hotel is full of football people Brad Freedal, Jimmy Floyd HB and I am sure there will be one or two agents about.
Lets hope MW is sorting a deal out for some more fine English young talent
MW different class.

500k apparently agreed for o'halloran, intresting to see if this gets wrapped up today.

18 Jan 2016 14:24:53
I'm a little bit annoyed with this saga, it's took a while for us to agree a deal at 500k, one thing about the rotten mob, when they want a player they just go and sign him.

18 Jan 2016 14:52:41
I'd rather we haggled for a price than just stump up cash to make sure we got a player. If the club aren't willing to do a deal at what we value the player at then we move on to another target.

Gone are the days of throwing money at the teams to get players. Build a team of value but always with a view of a payday at the end if they do move on. Seems like the only way scottish football can do business these days.

18 Jan 2016 16:00:13
A footballers value is not just about ability any more, there is also the commercial side of players nowadays.

18 Jan 2016 16:59:42
Hope this deal doesn't go through, the guy is rotten. yeah yeah he's got pace, who cares, he doesn't offer any more than any other player we have.!

18 Jan 2016 17:09:21
Well i'd have to disagree with you Forfarger.

5 goals and 10 assists this season, one more than McKay and he's considerbly taller.

18 Jan 2016 17:38:40
I Think If Mark Warburton And Davie Weir Wants Him, Then He Must Be Pretty Good Mate, i'm Behind Mark And Davie All The Way, If They Think A Player Is Worth Getting Then I Trust Their Decision. WATP *****.

18 Jan 2016 18:01:09
Albertz would you say o'halloran is marketable? I'd say McKay and waghorn are far more marketable.

18 Jan 2016 18:02:46
According to tv we haven't made a 3rd bid yet so how could it have been accepted.

18 Jan 2016 18:32:19
Super ally, are u the real super ally? his recruitment of players was rotten aswell!

18 Jan 2016 18:56:51
TV reckon a third bid will go in this week.

18 Jan 2016 19:54:02
That Means Next Week Then Lol, Its Just Taking Far Too Long To Get This Deal Wrapped Up.

18 Jan 2016 20:03:47
Tjrfc marketable to st johmstone. If he is their best player then he will bring in extra revenue. That's why man u got so much for Ronaldo, his talent and the merchandise sales that would also be lost.

18 Jan 2016 20:33:26
So you're comparing Ronaldo to o'halloran? Personally if we are signing from St Johnstone I'd go for Murray Davidson. Accept we've scored plenty of goals so far and are vulnerable at the back at times.

18 Jan 2016 21:03:00
No I'm not comparing them. I'm just saying that if a team is going to loose a marketable player at their club, they will try an recoup some of the lost revenue in the transfer.

19 Jan 2016 00:17:26
Great signing if it goes through. Also, whatateam you don't need to start every word with a capital mate. Let go of that shift key!

19 Jan 2016 02:18:30
He's a good player for the saints but not the level of player required to compete with Celtic. Which is what we need to start thinking about.

They are not that great but if your honest not one of our players would make their team. Most pundits and other fans seem fairly united on that one.

19 Jan 2016 11:54:22
Luigi I partially agree. I don't like o'halloran but with the goals waghorn has and the performance tav has been putting in I reckon theyd walk into their team.

19 Jan 2016 14:44:56
There is a big gulf between the bottom end of the championship and the bottom half of spl. Where I do believe falkirk and hibs are more than capable of competing with most spl sides, that is not true of likes of qos, livi, Morton and raith.

I'm sorry but I'm embarrassed by how carried away some fans have got. Reality is that we have a bit to go to compete with Aberdeen and hearts. There is a long road left to compete with Celtic. Signing players of this quality is a complete waste of time and money. It also further blocks game time for the young players we already have such as hardie- who could and should of had much more game time, particularly in games like on Saturday.
