The Scottish Football Association faces a £700,000 bill if it sacks Craig Levein, Scotland's highest-paid national boss in history, after deciding against releasing him for nothing following the failure to qualify for the Euro 2012 finals.

What a shambles, looks like Levein will hold on to his job if this is true.

It's ok boys they'll get it back from newco rangers, no problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

F.t sfa! If they are stupid enough to give a manager who is useless then its their problem he is making an ar*e of it

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi CARLING BEAR (LOCHABER BEAR 3)
Hope you guys up there are doing fine miss the crack on the bus and locally.
All the best East Bear (formerly Lochaber). {The Ed039's Note - I am lochaber bear 4 then

Agree0 Disagree0

No way they can sack Levein now.

It's too late to recover, we are out of the World cup. So let things run their course and then sack the pillock when his contract ends.

Agree0 Disagree1

It was a former ger which appoointed him and gave him such a lucrative contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you sack him when his contract runs out?

Agree0 Disagree0

"It was a former ger which appoointed him and gave him such a lucrative contract."

hah there is always one!!

Im just surprised that it took so long for one of the rabid haters to wheedle a way to blame Rangers for the state of the national team.

Perhaps if celtic stopped buying 40 foreign players a season and concentrated on Scottish youth(ones that dont want to play for the republic of irishland) the national team wouldnt be in such a mess!

Agree0 Disagree0

And im just plain lochaber bear

Lochaber Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Some of you people would blame Rangers or ex Rangers players for everything its probably our fault that Greece is about to go t*ts up

Lochaber bear

Agree0 Disagree0

They even blame an ex-rangers doctor for john kennedy having to walk round the pitch when he got an injury. Nothing short of pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

Mibbe all chip in and raise the 700k to sack um

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed
A Lochaber take over lol
East Bear was called Harps locally if that helps? {The Ed039's Note - Whats your real name? I wont post it on the site)

I have said from the start that the real person the blame for all this was Murray. Whyte took a chance and failed. I think anyone would have failed also. Green is not to be trusted and anyone who buys into the share issue would be as well burning their money. It will not help rangers. I think rangers will be gone for good by the end of the season

Believable89 Unbelievable72

Don't think we will be gone for good. PS; but here's hoping that Levein and his muppets keep up the good work, doesn't group A make smashing reading LOL!!, and with their continuing failures help keep money out of the pockets of the SFA.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes bought my season ticket but wont be handing any money for shares to Green and Co, still dont trust them enough and why would you part with your cash to them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers won't be gone by the end of the season. But if they are so will the rest of Scottish football. Even though timmy tried to tell us SPL clubs are better of and attendances up. It's on the news today that all SPL clubs bar Celtic are losing money and the longer rangers are away the worse it becomes

Agree2 Disagree0

Absolute tosh.

Murrey has to be held responsible for over spending but thats it.

The EBT scheem was deemed legal by tax experts and evidence was supplied annually to SFA through our accounts. So no ream fault can be laid at his door there as he took all relevant steps to ensure this was appropriate.

Whyte on the other hand point blank refused to work with HMRC, point blank refused our Finance director access to the accounts, point blank refused to pay PAYEE to HMRC.

So in a nutshell, your post is garbage! {Ed001's Note - what about all the money Murray was taking out of the club in fees? The over spending was purely what he leeched out of the club, otherwise it wouldn't have been in any danger. }

Agree0 Disagree1

Ye something is really not adding up here..
if we put our money in and it fails he leaves a very rich man...
if we don't put our money he has to hold out longer to get his return. no wot am sayin.........
............attila ........

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched doomsday preppers at nxt week its about the rangers fc

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you please articulate your views as to why you believe Gers will be gone by the end of the season ?

Agree1 Disagree0

A lot of people thought we would be gone by now but guess what we are still here & will be for a long time to come CG will get my cash WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

" doesn't group A make smashing reading LOL!, ".

Nope, I see no contradiction between being both a Rangers fan and a Scotland fan. I don't know why foreigners like you support a Scottish club if you are anti-Scottish.

Simply disgusting.

Agree0 Disagree0

The rumour is that 'The Rangers' are already 4 million in debt.

Green is a businessman and he won't put in any money that he doesn't have to which is why he is going down the share issue route.

Agree1 Disagree1

"The rumour is that 'The Rangers' are already 4 million in debt.

The clue to this is in your first two words..............

THE RUMOUR

Why is there never any positive rumours on here, only ever negative dross!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I already have 3 season books for me my wife and son we have been season book holders in the govan front for 8 years now and I owned shares in rangers before we went against the wall . I won't be buying shares again as Greene says we are buying shares in the holding company not the club rangers so if everything went t*ts up again , nothing will stop someone else who Greene passing the club onto to put the club under a new holding company and yet again I would lose my money. I bought shares in rangers football club first time around not a holding company so if we still survive as the

same football team then I think the last share holders should still hold there shares. I won't ma thwart same mistake again .

If Greene has got 18 million already to invest when that should be enough.

Sorry for my rant {The Ed039's Note - rant away)

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason why so many negative rumours is that Septic fans come on here and try and stir up trouble. Get behind the team and the share issue and dont let these muppets stir up trouble

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig Whyte is to blame for all Rangers troubles, our debt was manageable until he appeared on the scene. The outcome of dual contracts under Sir David Murray is still to be resolved.

Agree0 Disagree1

It is a positive rumour depending on your outlook......:-)

Agree0 Disagree0

It dosent really matter who is to blame for where we are today. What does matter ,is who owns our club, for me green is fronting a consortium of whos who,how many are involved in this ,what would seem to me a web of deceit, all these accusations from whyte/green counter accusations being denied, what the hell is happening to this football club someone please get it sorted before its too late.Jimbo.

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think some supoorters realise the extent and nature of dual contracts ,look at gavin raes situation, if thats judged as being wrong then the punishment will be HUGE

Agree0 Disagree0

"I dont think some supoorters realise the extent and nature of dual contracts ,look at gavin raes situation, if thats judged as being wrong then the punishment will be HUGE"

Two words.............

IMAGE RIGHTS!!!!!!

Those will be classed as dual contracts soon enough and then the real greetin and gnashing of teeth will commence from the crumbledome followers.

I will lol......i will lol for a very, very , VERY long time :D :D :D

Agree0 Disagree0

"I will lol......i will lol for a very, very , VERY long time :D :D :D"....do you not realise that if you are correct re; IMAGE RIGHTS..all clubs use this method including YOUR OWN...so lol lol lol all you want but wishing ill on clubs incorporating image rights is wishing ill on your own as well......stop with the " my club is getting kicked lets kick everybody else too" ...pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte didnt fail he got everything he wanted a ton of money with no waste left over and has gone down in history as the last ever owner of rangers
