What I don’t understand is surely footware can be designed especially for these pitches ie a Cross between trainer and boot? Seems to me it’s always the studs that are getting caught.

The plastic pitches aren't as good as grass. Bit hard on the joints. if it's not safe to use why are our kids and development football, amiture teams, ladies teams even professional teams playing and training on them. I think murphy got injured can't blame the park.
Secondly rangers shouldn't struggle playing 2 games per week. Professionals that what the train. For and get paid a lot of money for. Maybe more chance of injury. That risk is always there. I watch jounior and amiture football as well as played myself. I worked all day trained at night then played games midweek, and Sunday. If they can't manage 2 games per week it's a disgrace. That's what they get paid for.

Surely we can get better than a 38 year old free agent. With only 2 recognised centre halves it’s likely another centre half will play a large part of the season and a 38 year old isn’t the answer. Not so long ago we were trying to get a young player from Millwall for £3m.

Personally I think we need 2 centre halfs as cover. I'm sure aidam Wilson is out on loan and the other young boy Bradley looks a bit raw just now for the first team.

Mastour is absolute rubbish. If you've ever actually watched him you'd know how poor he is. He's a Moroccan Barrie McKay - lots of ego and his substandard career is because of it. Couldn't get a game for a diabolical Milan and his loans were garbage.

i heard from a source who is a registered scout for an english club living and working up here who is a massive blue use. he goes to games as a scout and knows rangers scouts personally.

Ovie and Kent (Murphy?) not up to it and won't be enough for us. Our balance has shifted way back. If our squad remains the same we won't score enough goals. Me personally we are 3 not 2 short. ATM FB and CB required. I was at the Maribor home game and watched away, a better quality attack would have put 3 past us on last nights display, Celtic are better than Maribor.
My point is, we are so close we can smell it, we just need 3 good footballers and we have a good chance of stopping them.

I agree with Ejaria not being what we need I just don’t know what he brings to the team, a lot of sideways passes and slowing the game, I’m not sayings he’s bad just not what we need. I thought Kent did well considering we were at a tough away ground against a well organised killie team who caused us a lot of bother last year.

Ejaria has improved and puts in a power of work off the ball. I thought him and Kent had good games today. All round good performance by the team. A CB and a striker is an absolute must and if Murphy is out we might strengthen there as well. It could lead to young Middleton getting more game time thou. Very happy Bear have absolute faith and trust in my and SG 🔴⚪️💙.

I thought Kent and Ejaria played well today on a terrible surface and his pass to Arfield was class to help set up the 3rd goal they are improving every game they are young lads who aren’t long in the door so let’s give them a chance but with windlass away and Andy Halliday playing well some people need a new wipping boy I suppose.

A changed team from Thursday, and to be honest not the first pick eleven for me, but as stevie says you have to rotate the squad. Anyway another good TEAM performance today everyone working and doing their bit on a bloody awful pitch, last seasons defence would have folded under those long high balls. El buffalo seems to be getting better week by week, and there's even a smile on his face!, if any members of our board suggest selling him now they need hanging! I like Lafferty’s versatility and have warmed to the idea of him coming in. The price must be right though and for me I’d like it to be in addition to another striker, a real number 9 who is capable of 30. We can all dream though 😜. Come on Mark Allen, pull a rabbit out the hat here!

We scored 3 today which really should have been 4. I thought kent was a threat all day, infact it was his skill and pace that created what should have been the first goal. I do agree to an extent that ejaria still has a lot to prove, but its early days. Celtic are not better than maribor, our defence showed steel and strong character in maribor, we passed that test with flying colours. We will score goals no problem. We will get another couple of bodies but we don't anymore full backs. Bit of a strange post TJBB👍.

Bear Mode91. Yes, I don’t know the answer but I know it’s not enough because he’s a winger and I can’t recall him him having one assist - but he might have. The point is, his contribution is limited and that is disappointing and something that should be addressed. Murphy on the other hand has had something like 16 goal involvements in 21 games - that’s a contribution.
And no, I won’t stop pointing out where I think we’re not so good.
Like most, I think the improvement in our team is fantastic but we’ve played 2 league games and I’ll mess my shorts when we win something, not before.

This is pathetic moaning and griping again- even though we’re looking good and playing well individuals being signaled out as “not good enough” it’s a team game - Kent and Ejaria both contributed well in this team game, to say at this stage they aren’t good enough is pathetic! What’s next we going to moan because Arfield is premier league standard and hasn’t scored enough goals- even tho as a team we have a winning mentality? Ufa reporting (as per daily record and Scotsmen) that they may not be issued visas for Thursdays match on time due to the time required for processing of visas. The result of visas not been issued apparently being a walk over for Rangers.

they will get the visas, the mentioned window is standard processing time. the pressure is on the home office to approve quicker but it will happen i'm sure. how can international fixtures ever be planned with enough time to suit normal embassy processing rules. the officials do and will make exceptions in these circumstances.
