Looks like Daly and Clark to sign up pre's this week, Daly stating that he's already done a medical and Clark letting us know he's a diehard (bout time we had a few). If nothing else this is a bloody good start from Ally Mccoist under tight constraints. If he can land Berra/Wilson or both then I'd say that the standard is at least looking up. Here's hoping the lad Law will sign aswel. Looks the part. Optimism?!

Good positive post mate I would also like to add novo and boyd to that list for there experience and to influence the good young players at the club. jmgers

Berra? come on son have a word with yourself will you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Like the positivity. would like to see Law / Wilson / Hately added to Bell / Clark and Daly and I would be a happy man with that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Berra? You must be a Celtic fan, Berra is garbage.

Jagiellonia Bialystok are offering Queen of the South striker Nicky Clark a tenfold rise in wages to move to Poland next season, with Rangers and Sheffield United also keen on the 21-year-old. (Daily Express)

Agree0 Disagree0

What's the diehard stuff about?
NC would have signed for ANYONE else if they had offered more money.
The lad isn't daft - he's got the best deal for him (at the moment!) & if he kicks on he'll be off just like the rest.
While he's here let's hope he continues and gets better from last season

Daly is only going for the cash, can't blame him, he's near the end of his playing days. But unless he gets his finger out, the fans won't take to him he is LAZY. if he could get away with it he would take a chair onto the pitch.
Arab.

I would be seriously concerned about the players coming from the SPL to Rangers, they obviously aren't doing it out of love for the club are they. Rangers are losing money hand over fist and are still at least 3 years away from the SPL and a chance to earn some decent money. On the subject of money, only 8million left of the share money, this club is losing money at an alarming rate and it is not sustainable. I am a Celtic fan and believe it or not I really don't want to see you go down the tubes because I fear that this will be the last time. You are all talking about signing 6-7 players from the SPL, where is the money coming from to cover that and don't think the season ticket money will cover all of that, it has already been proven it wont. Think it is time for a step back and a reality check but then again that would mean admitting something is wrong.

Agree2 Disagree0

Does that mean you won't want Daly there because he is not a die-hard? It's that sort of thinking that is holding the club back. Good footballers and good professionals is what is required, regardless of whom they supported as a boy. Looking for "Die hard players and this WATP rhetoric becoming a sick joke now, just like the boardroom really. Same sort of people who want die-hard players in are the same sort who called me all sorts of vile sectarian bile on train on way back from Linfield friendly, as I wasn't joining in with THEIR sectarian chants! Never mind who they support, their background etc, are they good enough?

Scotsman reporting The Scottish Sun has a tape of Malcolm Murray being sacked by Ahmad three months ago.
Ahmad and Green only allowed him to stay until end of season.
New angle I suppose: he's already been sacked.
Suppose it would've been too obvious if the tape went to KJ at the DR.

Heard the tape but don't know if its gen. If that is Imran then he sounds like a bit of a Tw*t but I hope its a fake as if that is Malcolm Murray then it don't instill me with confidance that he has been our chairman because he don;t sound too on the ball for somebody whose suposed to be a city sliker & he obviously had been telling tales outta school.

Ally to open talks with christoph berra and tom hatley next week

Believable52 Unbelievable48

Never in a million yrs will Berra play in the Scottish 2nd, I know he's crap but never!

Agree0 Disagree0

Berra is surely a £15k a week player. Can we afford another?. Take him or Wilson in a heartbeat. Just what we need. Don't disrespect Perry too much yet as I feel he'll come on for either of these 2 telling him where to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Berra would surely have to take a huge wage cut for the new wage structure - no chance!

Agree1 Disagree0

Dont b so daft. When r we all going to realise there isn't that kind of money to pay players those wages.1 million a month is being lost and you think we will sign a player who can command 15 000 a week wages down south.

Agree1 Disagree0

Berra would need to take a massive wage cut, but Tom Hateley might be a more realistic target to. bring to Ibrox.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tom Hately would be a good signing.

Berra - not convinced. Think Zaliuska would be a better bet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Berra is currently without a club after being released from Wolves. I think if he gets an offer from any championship team of better he will go. He would probably be after a minimum of £8k a week also and he isn't worth that and we can't afford that! Sebo23

Agree0 Disagree0

Berra is absolutely Useless

Agree0 Disagree0

You're welcome to Hately his defensive qualities and distribution are terrible.
