Wee rumour going about that A Hutton has been at Ibrox, discussing the possibility of a return. Out of contract now so wages would be the only issue.

19 May 2016 14:33:20
I really hope this is a roumer we need better defenders than him, he's had his day, why we get associated with Rangers rejects all the time is beyond me, the only one I'd have is Steven Davis.

19 May 2016 14:41:04
I wouldn't go as far to say he was a reject he only got sold to help us out the financial difficulty that we where in a was a great player for us.

that being said I do agree he has had his day and is nowhere near the defender he was when he left us descent back up for tav though.

I doubt this will ever happen and hope its a non starter!

19 May 2016 15:23:21
I agree we need better than what Hutton can offer . I would take davis, aluko and weiss back they would all do a job for us . we need to move forward and create new legends and I think that is what is about to happen. keep up the good work warbs I back you decision making 100℅. do we have fat mike by the short and curlies? fingers crossed.

19 May 2016 15:24:30
Socermark, if hutton was at ibrox today he was probably autograph hunting. lol.

19 May 2016 15:25:48
I've got two dugz both of which are better football players than Hutton. Don't care what anyone says. Ramos and Spurs must have been on the wacky backy when they agreed to pay that money.

19 May 2016 15:31:07
Reject we got 9 million for him so he's hardly a rangers reject.

19 May 2016 15:21:22
Warburton would never sign hutton mate.

19 May 2016 15:32:55
Surely warbs knows better full backs than Alan hutton, I know hutton is in Glasgow because he was seen in silverburn yesterday but hopefully he is up visiting family as he would be easily wanting between 8-12 grand a week. Darijo Srna i would rather take a look at him if he still hasn't signed a new deal.33 but a far better defender than hutton.

19 May 2016 16:27:21
Hutton is shit now, we've got to look forward not back, after 4 years of bad news, we've got a top manager and Gers men on the board.

19 May 2016 16:39:58
If Hutton could get back to a similar place as he was before he left us then I'd love him back, if he's in the place he has been since going to the EPL then. no, just no.

Would be a gamble, but I'd trust MW if he did decide to give him a chance.

19 May 2016 16:42:04
Hutton was named the RB in the under 21 players of the world to watch, just before we sold him for 9m. A reject he is not. He may not be playing his best football, but who was at Villa.

19 May 2016 16:53:11
He's not out of contract at all- he was interviewed last week and said he was looking forward to bounce back with villa first time around. This really is silly season.

19 May 2016 17:09:35
I'm not saying we should sign him, but if memory serves Hutton turned down 2 contracts from spurs at rediculas wages. He wanted to stay but was asked to leave for financial reasons.

19 May 2016 17:11:09
I doubt anybody will be shown round Ibrox just now the focus is on the cup final.

19 May 2016 14:07:29
anyone that saw him in the last game televised for villa would no give him a game for cambuslang rangers he appeared not interested.

19 May 2016 19:04:39
If Hutton came back I'm supposinghe would be on at least 10k prob nearer 15k a week! Now I know we need cover and players competing but if Tavs keeps his place and remember he's still developing then **** having someone sitting on the bench on those wages Tavs ain't on that and all the lad has to do is add to his defensive game, every team would love to have a full/ wing back like Tavs although I'm sure Warbs will rotate a hell of a lot more nxt season.

19 May 2016 21:28:03
I couldn't care who signs for rangers as long as it isn't the cabbage at hibs.

19 May 2016 23:24:10
He stays just outside Kilmarnock, villas season is over, it doesn't mean he's joining rangers! "Steve Davis would do a job". Unfortunately we would have no chance of Steve Davis, if he left Southampton it would be to a bigger club than Southampton.

19 May 2016 19:46:27
Unbelievable, totally beyond belief, now we are so arrogant we don't want a fantastic player, he never left during the collapse., he was sold by Murray to try to balance the books, now some believe this was Hutton fault? You actually couldn't make this up? If Rangers can get Allan Hutton then we should carry him back to Ibrox, now I can only believe most of the posters are young, or don't realize what a £9mill player is?

But to say we don't want him is unbelievable, Scotland seems to want him, so did Spurs, villa, 2 of the biggest clubs in the UK, have we became so arrogant we don't understand this?

19 May 2016 22:28:48
Hutts is a good right WB, could do us well for a few years and would add value to the team for sure, and let's not forget he loves the Gers, he's one of us, always has, so go easy on a fellow blue nose. The issue is money, he must have been clearing £20k + maybe? We can't pay that these days.

The other issue is Tav, but that's a good headache to have.

I do agree that Hutts would an expensive player for us to potentially sit on the bench, for now anyway, but I think we have ambitions of having quality sat on the bench, (rotating) if we don't we simply don't move forward as a team, so let's make it happen now and not sit on our hands!

Can't wait till Sat! !

20 May 2016 08:56:25
@TomTom - you what? Hutton was over-achieving in his last season, has a bit of pace but literally nothing else and now that's going too. I'd take him as back upon £1/ 2k a week at best. Tav is a far better player that Hutton ever has been!

20 May 2016 00:00:49
Hutton signs for Villa
goo.gl/mGczjU

20 May 2016 13:42:01
tomtom I really don't know what u have been smoking but wow just wow he was a 9 million pound player when he left but he is a shadow of his former self and is never worth that now if u have actually been watching football like the rest of us u would know the boy is shit now and spurs and villa aren't two of the biggest clubs in the uk spurs just makes the top ten in terms of size so go back to smoking whatever it is u are smoking and chill the f*ck out man!

19 May 2016 06:58:57
I have heard that both Kranjcar and Barton are waiting to see if Rangers win the Scottish cup and qualify for Europe before they sign.

19 May 2016 07:47:40
I posted that already mate, that the likely delay is for them to see if we are in Europe before confirming their decisions, doesn't mean the will sign of course but it will make the offer more attractive. I done the same myself I was offered years supply of Beanos to join my mates team as a boy but waited until his dad's redundancy talks at DC Thompson was sorted before committing myself, fortunately he kept his job and I got my Beanos and Dandys as promised.

19 May 2016 08:16:01
Pure comedy gold mate Pmsl.

19 May 2016 12:54:43
Think the fact its RANGERS should already appeal weather were in Europe or not next season shouldn't effect there decision.

19 May 2016 11:43:46
Just filling up ma corsa in malaga when a spotted joey Barton and his missus filling up next to me, he noticed I had my Hamburg strip on and said like the top, I said you will be in the colours next season, says he can't wait to get started. Mon the gers.

19 May 2016 13:19:16
Yeah i'm also not sure it hinges on Europe. We have to get through difficult qualification games. So all is guaranteed is a home and away game if we win against hibs.

19 May 2016 13:19:53
theglasgowranger haha brilliant mate actually laughin when i read that, in all seriousness tho if we do get both players our midfield is going to be somethin else what a time to be a rangers fan just now after 4 years of pure hell now were back on top form again plus hopefully europe aswell.

19 May 2016 14:43:17
camoo that's being quite negative though wouldn't u say I think with the squad we have just now plus a few additions we could well be on our way to the group stages at least!

19 May 2016 15:27:42
Stuzo is that another petrol ststion rumour? Its a while fae we had one of them, lol.

19 May 2016 17:41:15
It's true bigj, petrol stations is where it's aw at, we aw need fuel bro so bound to bump into a fit baw player filling up their gas guzzlers, err joey had a seat punto guess it must have been a hire job.

19 May 2016 18:03:04
It's ok looking to sign experienced players but Warbs must have other players targeted if Barton and allegedly Kranjcar don't sign and probably won't demand massive wages.

19 May 2016 18:35:02
Stuzo fecking brill mate, they seat puntos are good on petrol i heard, lol brill mate,

19 May 2016 19:09:06
Think we have a better chance of getting Barton than Krankjar, don't think his Mrs will be up for it but here's hoping.

19 May 2016 19:41:31
Heard his missus is auditioning for river city.

19 May 2016 18:57:06
Of course he will no doubt have a scout report on at least 5 players for each position he feels need strengthening he wouldn't b worth his salt but come on best manager we could've got and him n weir r outstanding.

19 May 2016 22:00:05
I can't be the only one who doesn't want Barton surely.

19 May 2016 22:52:42
Blue baz i see mw said euro football won't be bartons reason for signing if he does sign, and i believe mw.

20 May 2016 07:07:17
James, yeah it sounds negative. I think we have a good team but I remember those tough European qualifiers back in the day and that was with some top top players! I do think however the way we play would be well suited to European football.

I was making the point originally from a player considering signing point of view. I don't think they would consider the European football aspect of due to the fact we'd be probably amongst the lowest ranked teams in the competition (due to entry thru the cup) and have tough qualifiers.

19 May 2016 00:43:41
I'm new on here but have contacts within ibrox, Rangers in talks with Nike and under armour, nothing been agreed as of yet!

19 May 2016 07:43:58
I assume this is for 2017/ 18 Campaign? Rangers have a contract with Puma for 1 more season mate. The way the strips are sold and how the cash is distributed may be changing but the shirt deal with Puma and the sponsorship with 32 Red are not affected they are separate contracts both with a year to run, it's probably beyond that where the deals are being negotiated for.

19 May 2016 08:29:37
Theglasgowranger, if my memory serves me correct this will also effect puma big style as the deals with sports direct and puma went hand in hand as ashley has also big shares in puma and pushed for them to be our kit manufacturers in what was a 5 year deal and not 4 years, which means effectively our puma deal doesn't run out until 2018,so it may be that we have to try and cut a deal to also ditch puma, I do agree the 32Red shirt sponsorship deal is separate and was negotiated and signed off by our ex chief executive graham wallace.

19 May 2016 11:47:04
The puma deal runs until 2018.

19 May 2016 13:31:58
I'm sure I read somewhere that the Puma deal was part of the sports direct deal, now that they've refused to wear the new shirts on Saturday does that mean they're planning something else for next season?

19 May 2016 15:30:32
Adamchook I've also heard about the underarmour rumour, good stip maker, spurs, maybe with mw link to spurs there could be something to it.

19 May 2016 16:51:00
Is there any proof to Ashley having shares in puma.

19 May 2016 18:40:29
Thebear82 yip ashleyhas a 3p/ c shareholing in puma, fat fecks into everything especiaally whhere moneys concerned, but he is a hared person, ide rather be skint wae nowt, than be a millionaire wae nae pals at all, his phoney pals arre only budśsiness assosiates.

19 May 2016 19:19:03
I don't really care who makes the kit.

22 May 2016 00:16:03
Aldo so you would be happy to let poor people make strips being paid about 7 pound a week, while ashley makes millions phew.

19 May 2016 00:11:31
Mark Warburton confirms Rangers are close to signing two new players - Can't remember what site I seen it on but it was part of an interview. Didn't release who it was. These aren't crooks/ windass. Possibly Barton and Krancjar?

19 May 2016 08:30:17
Well i'd hope it wasnt Crooks and Windass otherwise someones dropped the ball big time.

19 May 2016 09:48:44
Does Crooks exist?
He never seems to get a game when ASey are on TV.

{Ed001's Note - isn't he injured?}

19 May 2016 11:05:09
Crooks is injured.

19 May 2016 11:36:39
Yes been injured since March. Played pretty much every game for AS beforehand. Mostly centre mid.

19 May 2016 11:49:32
Deeb crooks just had surgery on his ankle and all went well but might not be ready for preseason.

19 May 2016 00:06:06
Rangers refuse to wear new kit for scot cup final.

18 May 2016 23:16:19
Can anybody tell me what they think about this Australian international Aaron Mooy being linked with the club?

19 May 2016 03:37:15
Works harder than any player I've seen in my life, covers every blade of grass. pretty averagely skillful, decent range of passing, chips in a few goals here and there too.

He's one of the players I'm most hopeful we sign, nobody knows much about him but I'm positive he'll be a massive hit if we sign him.

19 May 2016 07:07:00
Mooy is for me the standout Australian player in the A League along with Craig Goodwin now of Sparta Rotterdam.
He plays in an advanced central midfield position and dictates play with good use of the ball and excellant delivery and composure in his final pass.
For me at 25 yrs old ideal for what i think is our new recruitment policy in that he will give us 2 good years service, we can then sell him on for a significant profit.
He has recently cemented his position in the socceroos national team and to put this into context one of the players he keeps out the team is Rogic of c****c.
I would also like to add that having been through dark times of late i hope never to see a return to us buying players who have no sell on value, for sure we need some experience but feel only Barton or Kranjaer will be coming and not both as i am sure Warbs will have negotiated a slice of all future transfer fees for developing players.

19 May 2016 07:50:41
I agree, buy young hungry players, develop them and hopefully sell them on at a big profit if we can't keep them. Balance it out with 2-3 experienced players with no sell on value to help these young guys develop and the standard of playing staff improve. Inwarbswetrust.

19 May 2016 09:17:17
I have saw him play a few times this year at the nib stadium in perth and on the TV I have been saying for weeks this guy is amazing best talent in Australia, free kicks like the hammer work rate like wee McCall and never wastes a ball if tommy rogic is 3-4 million this guy is worth 6-7 get him quick. Good luck to the worlds most successful club side Glasgow Rangers.

19 May 2016 09:47:16
If he's anywhere near as good at Free Kicks as Jorge or as tenacious as McCall he gets my vote, hope your right mate he sounds like a player 😍.

Read this in an online article about Mooy.

Mooy is already in the United Kingdom and arrived there late last week with his partner, Nicola, and their daughter, Skylar, to spend time with Scottish-born Nicola’s family ahead of going into camp.

Before leaving, he had begun going through offers with the aim of narrowing the possibilities down as he gets closer to making the biggest decision of his football career.
