Pretty decent transfer window no doubt about it.

Now we need to push on and I'm sure Mark Allen is already looking at summer signings, what and who do you all think we need?

For me off the top of my head i'd say out:

Hodson
Kranjcar
Halliday
Alves
Pena
Herrera
MoH
Rossiter (pending fitness by May)
Morelos (if these bids of £8m are true)

I may have missed one or two but we have a big squad and players off the wage bill. With 9 leaving (my opinion) i'd say we need to bring in 4 or 5 (quality over quantity)

A centre half I have no one in mind?

A right back I have no one in mind?

Central midfield i'd do all we can to bring in Scott arfield who's out of contract this summer, failing that I would bring in James Macarthur who's also out of contract.

Right wing/ midfield I'd bring in cadden from Motherwell as back up and to eventually replace Candeias.

Up front I'd look into will grigg from Wigan, out of the names I've mentioned he would like cost the most.

If morelos is sold we could look at signing the players I mentiomed above along with the current loan signings (Murphy, Cummings, Martin) for less than what we get for morelos. Add a few for pena and potentually Herrera say £1.5m for them both we could hage made more money than we've spent and improved the side along with reducing the wage bill.

Sorry for the long post lads, nightshift and bored haha.

RB Alan Hutton
CB someone faster than Bates but also young with potential
CM I think were a bit heavy at the moment
WM Chris Cadden for sure
ST Devante Cole being behind Cummings but ahead of Hardie in selection

02 Feb 2018 01:26:45
Cole has signed for Wigan

02 Feb 2018 01:28:06
Like us to sign Martin Murphy and Cummings for a start! Cadden would also be good signing imo!

02 Feb 2018 02:38:43
The problem is who's going to take the guys on your list? we can't afford to pay anymore off.

02 Feb 2018 08:04:01
Sebrofg I agree it all depends on getting rid of certain players.

Murty4me we are heavy in midfield but if we managed to get pena, halliday, Krancjar and Rossiter of the wage bill it would surely make room for one in there?

02 Feb 2018 08:44:38
I still think there’s a player in Rossiter. I know most won't agree but if he can sort out his injury’s then I think the wee man would be solid in there.

02 Feb 2018 09:33:39
Stuart I agree we are heavy in midfield but it is dross ie Pena Kranjcar Halliday I would happily swap they 3 for McTominay Goss and Hyndman if it was affordable and possible what's Zelalem up to these days 😂😂😂

02 Feb 2018 09:43:59
whats the fascination with will grigg? i think he's pretty useless and we already have the penalty box type striker in cummings. we really need another striker in the mould of morelos for when he leaves in the summer and grigg is most certainly not the guy.

02 Feb 2018 11:04:46
Rossiter will never be fit

02 Feb 2018 14:53:24
What about big Hanley solid CB could form a good partnership with Martin and only 26

02 Feb 2018 16:49:12
Mc Arthur just signed a deal with palace

02 Feb 2018 16:49:35
Cadden, Cummings and Murphy all in for me!

02 Feb 2018 20:30:37
tav is ten times better that hutton is now so i'd stick with tav as he has formed a very nice partnership with candias

02 Feb 2018 20:38:30
rossiter is playing with the under 20's remember the boy is still young and he will heal well because of this.

he had couple of serious injurys but he will be a top player for us as long as we have the patience with him.

put it this way if we get rid of him just now it wouldn't make sense as he has been getting treatment with us and we have stuck by him I think if next season he can get a full season staying fit he would be our most valuable player in English teams eyes.

which in turn will be good for us please stop with the get rid of a player because he has had a hard time of it stuff as this does nothing for the boys confidence

02 Feb 2018 20:39:35
No thanks, seen milk turn quicker than Hanley!

01 Feb 2018 20:02:04
strange how we were offered over 8 million and the levy for that Chinese league is no more than 7 plus they denied any contact makes me think we tried to off load him because we need money badly it stinks.

01 Feb 2018 22:51:15
Or maybe you're buying into the tims propaganda and beleive the administration nonsense? Maybe we don't need to sell him presently and we have maybe kept hold of one of our prized assets to cement second and even dare I say push the Celtic mob a little harder till season end!

02 Feb 2018 07:34:14
Well according dodgy Dave, we need more 'soft loans' to see out the season. I don't see admin happening and we've had a good January but we do need money / investment

02 Feb 2018 13:10:41
A good January, only income was from Aberdeen game (have to wait for Fraserburgh money) . Our wage bill increased, so the squad improved no doubt. The overall financial picture is poorer.

02 Feb 2018 14:45:57
A good January in terms of players coming in and beating the sheep.

02 Feb 2018 14:47:48
Our wage bill has almost certainly increased but given that we knocked back multiple bids regardless of what was offered it means that there is no need to panic. Had we sold Windass and Morelos when the first bids were made there would be more reason to worry. I understand your fears given the current situation and what happened in recent years but look at what's being spent on stadium repairs and expansion at auchenhowie as evidence that the board are planning for the future. Admittedly I support the board more than most and some would say I'm displaying the blind faith that led to our past troubles. Personally despite his obvious faults I admire King for taking the lions share of the flak when others were tasked with the day to day running of the club. IMO he will step aside in due course and someone like A Johnston will take his place at the helm. All business men wriggle their way through loopholes and the men running other clubs are no different.

Keep Believing!

02 Feb 2018 20:31:33
the soft loans will be turned into shares as has been previously stated.
and didn't u see a bbc journo having to apologise for saying there was no bid made as there where at least two bids made and initial bid of around 7 and second one of around 8 mill.
no bbc journo would ever apologise unless they where caught talking baws so i'd say that's proof enough the bid was made.

but as stated by the club we won't weaken our team as we have a target of closing the points gap on celtic for the rest of this season.

and selling our top goalscorer and the top goalscorer in the league would make no sense when we don't have a ready made replacement.

for me morelos is going to form a partnership with cumdog and hopefully they will both be putting goals in

02 Feb 2018 20:34:55
if there is a loophole to be exploited that makes or saves our club money then our top guys have a responsibility to take such a loophole as long as like feared by some it will hurt us in the future.
but this hmrc crap is nonsense as there are a hoost of clubs down south that have used the same ebt system that we did and nothing so far has materialised into a court case of a repayment of money to hmrc.

as usual they try stuff in Scotland and byt the time they get to all other clubs they will have covered their arse and destroyed evidence of such transgretions.

but when it was all happening man u Liverpool chealsea and a host of other top sides down south di use ebt's

when rangers done the ebt scam and it was a scam I admit it wasn't actually illegal in those years.

does anyone else think that hmrc will be as quick to chase down these other clubs the same way the hunted us down .
something tells me that this will not be the case

01 Feb 2018 16:17:36
Oh dear, the bbc journalist that said no Chinese club bid for Morelos and rangers made it up has now apologised on his Twitter and stated that more than 1 bid was made for Morelos, what a twit!

01 Feb 2018 17:04:33
Mhedia

01 Feb 2018 17:36:05
Probably a bell end tim who couldn't wait to get the story out and now crawling back under his tricoloured duvet and having to apologise.

01 Feb 2018 19:47:37
So rangers will let morales go and we will get him bak for the rest of season 7.5m my mate is a x pro player and he nose everything

01 Feb 2018 21:50:08
Knows!

02 Feb 2018 02:29:25
bbc reporter got it wrong?
whats happening to this world that isn't normal is it? lmfao
part of the obsessed lot I'm guessing

02 Feb 2018 02:34:51
Wonder if Timalloy will pop his head up and comment on this one, very much doubt it!

02 Feb 2018 07:40:26
You will probably find that the bbc reporter is timalloy

02 Feb 2018 20:35:36
all media are against us which in my opinion makes the lot of them propaganda agents.

01 Feb 2018 11:40:16
Has new investment been mentioned for us? Thought I heard someone say it was on SSB. Just looking for any more info? Been checking news now but nothing.

01 Feb 2018 12:24:25
Think mark guidi said ther was something big ment to be happening between now and the end of the season take that with a linch of salt tho

01 Feb 2018 13:14:00
will it not be the new share issue as there is talk of this going ahead before the season is out

01 Feb 2018 14:50:13
Anderbear i'm sure Ronnie will be able to fill you in on this as he seems to be in the know

01 Feb 2018 16:32:28
Aye jump over to the tim page and ask thèm. They will tell you all the ins and outs of what's hapnin.

02 Feb 2018 02:17:05
Mark guidi
Said on ssn that he had heard there was something big coming at rangers but he didn't know whether it was fresh investment or dave king leaving or whatever else. Its took legs and wings and it folk are just making up their own conclusions.
