Hope this is a wind up

Agree1 Disagree0

Hope not

Agree1 Disagree0

What position does he play?

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree. Hope not. We could do with him back in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonsense! he is banned for 5 years for his part in the initial catastrophe

Agree0 Disagree1

I would say we need someone of his style. What I mean by that is that he was very good with the media. Someone with media savvy needed, but let's have someone from 'outwith' not someone connected to Murray/ Whyte/ Green.

Obviously, it has to be the RIGHT man, this time. Things could get a lot worse before improving. We have not heard last of Whyte yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure if he is banned or not, can you provide proof of this. Also, his name has been mentioned on sportsound, why did none of the journos mention this fact then?

Like I say, I am not sure, so don t go in a wee huff with me.

Nonsense, he is NOT banned in any way for previous failings. SDM had complete control when MB was a director and he never served under CW. Your talking complete NONSENSE.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green has backtracked and will not resign watch the space reliable source

Agree0 Disagree0

Green has resigned due to stock market rules I don't think your allowed to make an announcement like that if it is not true and as I have said on here before my source told me before the clyde game that green was going to resign and it subsequently came true and also the future of finance director brian stockbridge is in some doubt as well. there will be more revelations about charles green and craig whyte in the coming weeks and it is going to be more bad news for us I can imagine. and also can we please stop the rumours about martin bain let's worry about wether or not we will have a club to support next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't think we could still go more backwards, but it seems we can.

Agree0 Disagree0

SDM did not have complete control, Lloyds had/ have complete control of his complete empire.
MB is banned for 5 years as he was CEO/ director within 12 months of the insolvency event. That's why SDM wanted Whyte's insolvency after 12 months but it came too soon, catching all the old board.

Agree0 Disagree0

You do not get banned for being involved in an insolvency event, get a grip.

Agree0 Disagree0

You get banned from being a director, not an employee.

Agree0 Disagree0

Paul Murry to come in as new CEO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Could someone tell me where JIM Traynor is during all this upheaval? He had plenty to say when he joined up. I have a feeling he is next for the chop - he was brought in by Green so any new CEO will not want a cuckoo in the nest. Anyway, he will be no great loss - his cred started to go downhill the minute he left the Herald

Agree0 Disagree0

Donald Finlay for Chief Exec what's the odds on that one

Agree0 Disagree0

Bain will never be allowed to resurface at Ibrox - he was there when the EBTs were being dished out (no one can say he did not know - he was in charge of the contracts/budgets and bonuses)
He was there when players were improperly registered with the SFA.
His period as CEO was during the biggest financial disaster to happen to any club in Scotland - he was at the helm

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I don't want Bain anywhere near Ibrox. This guy was nothing more than Murray's puppet and he was way out of his depth as a CEO.

Add to that, he knew absolutely nothing about football and demonised the Rangers support whilst heaping praise on the mob in the East End of Glasgow.

In an ideal work we need a total change, top to bottom with a consortium of wealthy 'Rangers minded' investors to take control of teh club.

Seen this on tv.

Newcastle youth coach Willie Donachie could join Ally McCoist's backroom team at Rangers - DAILY MIRROR

Believable28 Unbelievable51

Aye get rid of one coach and get in another that will be looking for double the cash

Agree0 Disagree0

It was on tv. Settle yourself no one said it was a fact. This is a rumour page is it not

Agree1 Disagree0

If I was Ally I'd be a worried man!

Agree0 Disagree0

Donachie certainly couldn't be any worse than the two that McCoist has helping him at present.

The club needs new blood and it needs to bring in a couple of younger coaches with a view to who replaces McCoist in teh future.

The Club needs winner and stop this 'Jobs for the Boys' mentality that has been there for too long.

Agree0 Disagree0

McCoist shouldn't need a background team. He should either resign or be sacked. Another shameful performance from his team yesterday, totally outplayed in the 2nd half and please don't bleat about the circumstances he has found himself in. With the cash he had compared to other 3rd Division clubs he should have been able to avoid any defeats! To have been outplayed and defeated at Ibrox twice is JUST UNACCEPTABLE!! Don'f forget when Stirling Albion defeated them at Forthbank they were the worst professional team in the land. I said at the time that should have been a sackable offence!! And look at the foreign garbage he has signed from Brazil, Greece and France, not forgetting Ian Black hope he's a better painter than a midfielder. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. John F
