I forgot Whitts , Aluko (is he sold?) and Bartman (is he there?) plus Clubfoot played in Euro semi against top Italian team Fiorentina and you have to admit with confidence effort and walters tactics (10 men behind balllafs) he did not look outclassed so big player from that point though he really hasnt played sinc like Whitty.

I would be comfortable with Shagger leaving Alexander in , Goian and Bocca (age unlikely get big move so our new wage structure suit) Edu I RATE HIM - one of posters earlier in year put up stats we only lost 2 games when wew were doing okay in league and the games we drop points in were when Edu was taken off or didnt play, Aluko be great keep but he must have won himself a transfer on last season form, Whitts BYE happy Clubfoot BYE happy , Davis SERIOUSLY off form and not kleader/captain - compare Bacca and him as leaders? BYE not happy but we have cover midfieldFleck and Ness (if get run and keep fit better than all other midfields outside tims) , Naisy sadly our BIG loss he will go but we cant afford to keep him 2.5m AND KNEE INJURY tells just how high he is rated down south not helped by Loyal ex players like Jelly touting him to Everton, Wallace need to try keep with Papac leaving, IF we hold onto those withe the cream of youth Perry McCabe Little and solid pros like Jig one more year Bedoya looked great and scoring unlike Davis last year I AM CONFIDENT AT WORST WE GIVE Tims a run but I honestly think with fighting spirit Walter instilled (If Ally can raise his standard decision wise and tactics maybe with MORE help from Walter) WE COULD WIN THE LEAGUE NEXT YEAR, if you doubt me download Tims v Killie and Hearts you see how easy to score agaist them if pressure is on MIND THE LEAGUE 10 POINTS SAVED THEIR BOTTLE BEING TESTED I WANT TO SEE HOW THEY COPE IF WE NOT IN ADMIN AND PLAYERS FOCUSSED AND BEING PAID FULL WAGES (How hard would you work if geting 25% of your wage and on front page papers for SIX MONTHS YOUR EMPLOYER GOING BANKRUPT?? Had to have huge effect on team), COMMENTS George Blue is the Colour RFC FOR LIFE not just XMAS

Believable12 Unbelievable50

Loyal players like Jelavic? Yes, Jellyfish was immense for Rangers, but he used Scottish Football as a stepping stone to his dream, the EPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

Best midfield performance was at fir park earlier in the season when edu was suspended, rangers won 5-1, the guy is rotten.

Agree0 Disagree0

Id be rotten too with "fans" like yourself backing me on the pitch. Only thing you can doubt Edu for is his consistency, he's shown that when he plays well he makes a difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

A think the jelavic comment was being sarcastic?

Agree0 Disagree0

Will the SFA/EUFA allow Rangers or Newco to play Wallace without paying Hearts. Is this not theft,it certainly is immoral but not convinced that will trouble Charles Green, all part of making money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes it was lafs george

Agree0 Disagree0

Fleck i ask you what has he done in the last two years great yougster then got big contract went to his head never kicked a ball went on loan to blackpool to kick start his career not even in the pool now but still rangers fans see him as a player at least edu gave his all for the team yes he had some poor games but they all do but Fleck come on he is full of his own hipe i hope im wrong but after so long i cant see him get it back cooperboy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts players were not paid on time on several occaisions and they went on to win scottish cup

Agree0 Disagree0

You seen what happened " when players where on full wages and before admin " they blew a fifteen point lead ...

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope you are kidding with McGregor and Alexander. There is a country mile and then some between them.

I would keep McGregor and Naismith and let anyone else go if they want to.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to say for anyone berating jelavic, i think he was loyal to the point he was forced out the door to make money....which btw subsequently vanished! and you can say he used us for a stepping stone to the PL, i need to say....so what, we used him to make a few million on transfer fee's not to improve our squad, it works both ways, look at him now best move of his career, the best we can hope for next season is to hold onto a couple of boys and hope naismith keeps fit all season which is unlikely and just mabey we have a wee goal machine from the youth ranks and mabey kane hemmings will step up to the fore! Lafferty can get on his bike for all i care been a total waste of money and brought nothing to the club, 3.5 million for 3 years of injury, trouble making and a bad attitude in general. The league is not important next season anyway, just making sure our club gets back to a healthy state, we will win the SPL again there is no question so a season or 2 letting celtic get it when they have no challenge doesnt bother me......when we get back to having a competitive squad and we take the league back what will celtic fans say then???

Greens bid railroaded, if its true King has first option on Whytes shares, and he says its legally binding, so Greens only option is to liquidate the club, as if he claims he owns Whytes shares i can see this go all the way to the courts
the circus act continues, who else is going to come out of the shadows with claims
the truth needs to be told now

Believable41 Unbelievable28

Ellis said a few weeks ago he was promised 25% of the shares , this could get really messy, if King goes thro the courts does that mean the sale to Green will be blocked and Rangers stay in administration with salaries going back to normal in June this doesn't sound good IMO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this like another blue knights strategy to trouble the Green purchase? So he wants the shares for £2 also?

Rangers director Dave King has said he has first option on Craig Whyte's shares in the club.
Prospective owner Charles Green has stated that he has an irrevocable deal with Whyte for the transfer of his 85% shareholding in Rangers.
But King says he and Whyte agreed last year he would have first refusal on the shares "at whatever price anyone offers and Whyte is willing to accept".
Whyte said King's assertion was categorically untrue.
King claims to have come to an agreement with Whyte in Glasgow on 29 September last year and, when told of Whyte's denial, he added: "It was verbally agreed over lunch but is legally valid.
"It suited him at the time and I will hold him to it.

Agree0 Disagree0

King has been call a mendacious and glib liar by a senior Judge.
Whyte has been called a liar by a Scottish senior judge.
Who do we believe?

Agree0 Disagree0

Well fellow bears, now the infighting has been exposed to the glare of daylight. Its not looking good execpt for the lawyers. Will Mr Green finance a lawsuit?

Agree0 Disagree0

"it was verbally agreed over lunch"

ahahah classic, ok here goes

I was promised Whytes shares too, over a skype call from my home on the moon.

Agree0 Disagree0

King said months ago that he was suing SDM for £25m and giving the money to Rangers FC.
Has his QCs gone to court yet? Lies?
These promises and promises of shares are not worth the paper they are not written on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Much as I would rather Dave King had the shares than Nanny McPhee I doubt a verbal agreement will get him very far unless he secretly recorded it and even then haven't the South African courts put some kind of injunction on him buying shares anywhere in the world until his seemingly never-ending court case there is over?

I remember big DJ rubbishing this idea but not sounding too convincing. BB

Agree0 Disagree0

Verbal contracts are legally binding under Scots Law, which is an area that Green and Duff & Duffer are likely to be lacking.

The mess just keeps getting messier

Agree0 Disagree0

How could Dave King, under investigation for tax fraud, have any involvement with Rangers. The thought of it is ridiculous. With all that is going on at the club do we really need this aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

King is clearly not a fit and proper person.
Didn't he go public 2 months ago and said he asked the SFA to tell him if he'd pass the fit and proper tests considering he owes the south African Government £250m? That went quiet..... Gues he got the answer and didn't go public with it!

King has also stated several times he does not think Rangers can exit administration with a CVA. He believes it's only liquidation. If that's the case why want the shares of a liquidated club?

Agree0 Disagree0

A verbal agreement over lunch
I've had plenty of those

Agree0 Disagree0

A verbal contract is binding if it can be proven to exist, unsupported nd unreasonable claims are worthless in any court of law.

Anorak.

Agree0 Disagree0

So because he says it is legally binding thats it then. Baws burst?

This is no longer the 60s, where gentlemans agrrements stack up. This is a multi million pound industry and a discussion over a mcdonalds breakfast wont cut the mustard in court of law

Agree0 Disagree0

As previously said verbal contracts are legally binding in Scotland. If whyte disputed this, there has to be two witnesses to back up king's claims ( Scottish law). If he has no witnesses, it won't even get to court

common sense post , regardless of outcome of cva and newco RANGERS will exist in some form or osion or other.
I dont care anymore which.
Bayern is what we should look at. At worst ground share Queens Parkl and then we can be in the driving seat IF liquidation and Ibox is sold to auction, WHO ELSE WILL BID FOR A FOOTBALL STADIUM?
Greed and money , as in 35000 people at worst prepared to go every 2 weeks and 5000 to 10000 traveling away. Business men will NEVER turn down these revenues.
With regard to the signing ban what is the fuss we have been selling our best players and won 3 league titles over 4 years with a mall squad IF we even keep HALF the big 8 players (shaggy dadis goin bacca naisy bedoya wallace and edu) plus the rest of youth squad and mind Alexander was our Euro run keeper never let us down. We have a squad to match at least one of walter 3 title teams and we miss ONE big signing window during that seaso at Xmas I cant see why the panic.
Hearts and Killie have much less talent and depth yet showed up Lennons team for what they are a GOOD solid team but beatable
I am happy if we just survive we will be back in 2 or at worst 4 years
WAY BETTER THAN THE 80s for me. George

Believable23 Unbelievable34

What people seem to forget that all the "lesser players " to a big cut in their wages too.. You can imagine a player getting say 3k per week before now getting 750 ,he'll not want to hang around either ....So it just wont be the big names knocking other doors ....TTTS

Agree0 Disagree0

I just want survival, we should start at the bottom and work our way back up no matter how long it takes, rangers fans will have to take it on the chin for murray and whyte's misgivings but i agree that we can come back strong once again, i just want to know what its to be as it has all dragged on much too long

Agree0 Disagree0

The lesser paid players didnt get their wages cut by 75%, the deal was staggered depending on wage, low earners only took 25% cut. its only the highest paid players, davis, mcgregor, naisy, whitts who took the full cut

Agree0 Disagree0

You seem to believe that the wages will be the same, now lets see, rangers 10k a week down to 3k a week , Blackpool et al 10K a week, its a no brainer

Agree0 Disagree0

Somebody getting 3000 before would now be getting 2250, not 750. They took a 25% drop, not 75%.

Agree0 Disagree0

Since when was Bedoya a big player?

Agree0 Disagree0

He is 5ft 11" average Rangers playe 5ft 7" plus he looks portly so technically he big thatway too. To conclude he big player, oh aye and he plays for America currently about 50/70 places ahead of Scotland so that makes him reasonanly big in Euro/World terms wink George

Agree0 Disagree0

WHO ELSE WILL BID FOR A FOOTBALL STADIUM.....

well its made huge loss for years as a football stadium, but it holds 50,000 - so how about a concert venue....

only need Lady Gaga and others several times and year to make a few million - way beyond what rangers make!!

No ?

Agree0 Disagree0

ASSUMING as we have to ticketus going for the hobbit crook, as we have to and that cva or newco one will happen then ALL season ticket money available to start again plus it does appear a larger campaign overseas in America/Asia then we can compete for a year until signing ban over MIND - no signings translates as ALL money goes to wages which should mean we can keep the 'lesser' player/youth players PLUS at least half of the 'big' name players I DONT SEE WHERE HALF OF THEM GOING TO GET BETTER THAN EVEN REDUCED RANGERS WAGE if we tightening up our spending/overheads, IF we survive we will win league either ths coming season or next as we have big spending money I am sure in a years tim, George

Agree0 Disagree0

Where do you get these figures from.We will not sell anywhere near 35k season tickets for next sseason,we don't even knoe if,never mind when,we'll be playing next season, and in what division.Average away attendance is 3.5-4k outwith the Celtic game.
Our club is heading for oblivion and still most posters on here would rather spout crap like WATP,NO Surrender,No one can survive without us.Not one bit of this helps the club.there's a lot of info available to everyone if you can be bothered to look. We're in big trouble, probably liquidated in 3-4 weeks and unless the present rules are bent or broken,we won't meet the criteria to play in Div 3 next season never mind the SPL.this is before the BTC result, the 2 contract inquiry etc.
think with your head.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers are still alive so we will keep hoping that our club will survive. If we all gave up as easy as u we would already be dead

Agree0 Disagree0

Only need Lady Gaga and others several times and year to make a few million - way beyond what rangers make!

yes lady gaga works for nothing, do you seriously believe that you'd fill an Ibrox stadium which didn't belong to Rangers for music events. No Rangers fan would be seen dead there so thats a large number of music fans also. There are plenty other venues in the glasgow area which includes the new one at the secc which would be easier to fill for any potential music promoter without the baggage. Then theres the maintenance costs

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watch Mark Daly on the BBC on Wednesday. The truth will out IE the illegality will be laid bare for all to see . Resulting in Green and his mysterious backers doing a vanishing act. rangers are toxic pure and simple

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't forget the asbestos still needs to be sorted.

Agree0 Disagree0

There's 5 hurdles we need to jump to get out of this mess. When Green popped up I thought we had cleared the first one. I don't believe we have! He's not the new owner yet. I'm not sure he ever will be. Who wants to pay millions of pounds to pay for David Murrays golden years? Murray lifted those trophies, and now somebody needs to pay the bill, Murray has walked away.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only hurdle is the CVA. once that is agreed we are sorted

Good to see three Rangers first team players fly out to Florida with the Scotland squad for some training together and a game against USA.
They need a well deserved break from the kerfuffle back here. Good luck lads and enjoy 100% Scotland squad wages ;)

Believable28 Unbelievable14

Let's not get too carried away with the "terrible" financial sacrifices the players are making.

Even 25% of their normal wage is still substantially more than the average Gers fan earns in a month.

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't get paid for playing for your country

Agree0 Disagree0

Appeared to be a good sensible, and honest post until the last sentence. What a pity.
It would appear that your "Good luck lad's" message is insincere? Do you follow Scotland?
Previously O.B.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lighten up guys, McGregor, Wallace and Whittaker will be gettin plenty of dig from the other 19 squad lads. Broonie for sure. If they weren't it would be low morale.
Most people in here are over sensitised now and can't take light hearted banter anymore.

Agree0 Disagree0

Any other Rangers players absent on international friendlies?
Only 3 players now good enough for the 22 man squad?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers player should play for Scotland when they're selected. No-one should ever say otherwise.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should we take the chance that any of these three get injured whilst playing in a nothing match for an institution that has offered our club no support

Agree0 Disagree0

All club players the world over risk injury by playing for their country. If everyone worldwide had the Rangers fan mentality there would be no internationals, no world cup. No Brazil, no Spain no Germany no Argentina, no France, no Italy...... Very selfish.
Guess its just because Walter and Ally are not managing Scotland anymore. When they were at Scotland, Rangers players had a record turn out for Scotland. Usually rangers players pretend to be injured for Scotland but run out for rangers a few days later, no injury at all. Bertie Vogts never had a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should we take the risk of these players getting injured ? players make their own minds up if they want to play for their country you dont own the players their not your prisoners

Was at the Barca dinner last night and heard a strong rumour that there is an agreement in place that allows Rangers to pay the players the missing wages and if they do that the reduced price release clause is removed.

The belief is that if CVA is accepted, and they belief it will, that the season ticket money will be used to repay the players and that virtually all will stay. It is believed that Lafferty will be the only one to go.

It clearly still leaves us short of strikers but should have enough to make a fight of it. By all accounts and this came from Jardine they are all impressed with Green, I know its early days but that is the feeling. There is also big talk that the mystery Singapore family are involved in Asian tv and there is a big deal to be done.

They are also setting up academies in the Far East and believe that this market could be huge.

Incidentally a great night, we may never see their likes again.
True legends each and every one of them.

Believable45 Unbelievable54

Sandy jardines a W*NK

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Jardine is hardly going to say 'We think Green's a tube' is he ?

Agree0 Disagree0

"Sandy Jardines a W*ank" Another irrate Celtic fan who has nothing better to do than sit on their arch rivals Rumours page, is you club so un interesting taht you realy have to come on here and spit you vile hatred of a Rangers fan, player and legend?

Agree0 Disagree0

Asian tv deal ,clubs cant negotiate there own tv deals,i agree jardine is a bit of a kN@B

Agree0 Disagree0

To the above ah'd imagine u could if ur not in the spl, bring on sfl 3. u'd be suprised at the support to exit the spl no matter wot :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Who sed anything about a tv deal he sed there invovled in tv and a big deal can be done dosent mean he meant a tv deal

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true, where is the club going to get the money needed to pay the monthly bills .
? From what I can work out, the wages tc go back to previous levels net month and the club had a shortfall of over 1m each month, what has changed ? The club will still have a shortfall but they may also be demoted to 3rd division or have the income from spl reduced by 75%.....surely this will mean an even bigger shortfall? Comments?

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the only money they can take of us is the sky money and money from away gates.Lets be honest that aint really gonna be mega bucks.Ithink the money will come from investers and once the club is saved and we all know the outcome the fans will then be happy to put money in i know i will.It really makes me laugh that everytime something possitive might happen the mighty tims want to shoot us down i really do worry for your state of mind when this all blows over and we are still here lol.Honestly i feel your pain.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of crap. The players are on amended contracts with nothing being mentioned about an option to have that reverted. As far as I have read anyway. Also with the list of creditors being, let's be honest, bloody huge, who the hell is gonna allow the players to be paid their back wages when the local paper shop is still due money. Follow this, think twice, type once.

Agree0 Disagree0

Green backed by wealthy singapore family trust who wish to remain anonymous. Its widely known Singapore is the hub of almost all match fixing activity throughout Europe. Coincidence? Must be something in it for these investors, let's be honest they're not going to profit from the investment

Agree0 Disagree0

Jackanory.... some of you guys have learned nothing for whats went on before.

Agree0 Disagree0

This story is total nonsense. The players all walk away on 1st June and make millions.
How can the club justify not pay Ticketus and the taxpayers our monies but give these players millions?
Also if Rangers stay in SPL (very big if) they get 24 point penalty next season with youth team, no chance of Europe the following season either. ( one third of this seasons points). UEFA will also ban Rangers for 3 years on qualifying years only. If they don't qualify for Europe they won't be banned that year, makes sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

What kind of deal with asian tv family RADIO ffs,

Agree0 Disagree0

Too much wine and wishful thinking. those clauses don't exist as they represent the deferred payments that caused all the delay. Best wishes to the players who won Europes consolation cup

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers will just have to do the usual and not pay anybody

Agree0 Disagree0

There has never been an administration in British football where the manager and coaching staff weren't sacked. Even very very good managers. Why wasn't Ally and his coaches sacked?
How much pay decreases did they take? Ally was on more than one million pounds a year.
If us taxpayers and Ticketus and 273 other financial victims of Rangers are stiffed by a CVA or Liquidation and Ally goes back onto £1m a year, he should be utterly ashamed of himself.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sandy Jardine should shut up and I'm a rangers season ticket holder, green keeps contradicting himself he talks about warchest but then about balancing the books where is this extra income coming from? Above post was right by June were back to a Million a month shortfall and no Champions league to plug that hole , can't think any of the 20 investors will be happy to throw away that kind of money each month

Agree0 Disagree0

For all the players to walk away first they need a club to go to secondly for them to walk that club would need to offer better wages. Now before all you timmys start laughing calm down. When rangers are finally sold once and for all players contracts go back to post cut deal this will have nothing to do with creditors. If a set mount is agreed to acheive a CVA then thats it agreed they wont turn round and say we will only except if the wages stay at there cut rate honestly grow up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe it was a Rangers fan who doesn't like Jardine...

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh dear! almost all of the replys come from celtic fans rubbishing any positive news of rfc. how sad that 1. they are all on an rfc site and 2. they cant accept that rangers wont be on their knees for long. I honestly think rangers will be back to winning ways next season even with sanctions in place and judging by the responses by celtic fans they really fear/know this as well as celtic are no where near as good as they would have you believe. cant wait for new season to begin.
One happy bear

Agree0 Disagree0

I honestly don't know if this post is right or not or whether Sandy is correct - what I do know is that you guys who say it's sh1te have got your heads in the clouds - it's seems perfectly reasonable that players, agents etc would all agree at the time, if the money could be paid back at a later date they would accept it- not saying that's a fact just saying it seems reasonable - another thing to consider - these players (that according to some in this post) are all eager to leave were eager to sign lengthy contracts 12 months ago - assuming they get their money why would they not honour them ? ..... Ps was in Celtic shop yesterday and bought an after shave - blue bottle, Gers crest ....... called "Obsession" - says it all really .

Agree0 Disagree0

As a lifelong Rangers fan and season ticket holder since 1991 Jardine, Kerr and that pr!ck Dingwall are an embarrassment to our club.We should be leaving these dinosaurs in the past and moving on,none of them have EVER said anything I agree with.I will not be boycotting anything on these clowns say so, you see I am a Rangers SUPPORTER,that means I support and love the club and it's players,no matter where they are playing and no matter how good or sh!te the team is.I will follow follow.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Fantastic; great piece. The only words/phrases missing were;

War chest
Off the radar
We are the people
strong as ever

Still too many people lingering in the 'denial' phase of grief. It's over. What you are now witnessing is the death throes.

Agree0 Disagree0

RE: Ps was in Celtic shop yesterday and bought an after shave - blue bottle, Gers crest ....... called "Obsession" - says it all really .

Are you really so embarrassed by the shambles that is Rangers that you think Celtic fans merely have an 'obsession' with what's going on at the (former) club? This is turning out ot be the biggest case of corruption ever to be exposed in Scottish Football history - and we've only seen the very tip of the iceberg.

It's not obsession - it's facination; facination that a lot of the things people suspected for years are actually being exposed.

Are you upset that football fans - Celtic, Hearts, Dundee United etc - are facinated by all of this? We are all watching just to see the extent how much we've all been shafted by the sad excuse for a club that Rangers are. If you think this merely represents 'obsession', then so be it. The truth? It's much more than that. It's like that film Deep Impact - everyone's watching the meteorite for months, in disbelief that it's going to wipe the world out. Well, we're all watching as the meteorite hurtles towards Rangers FC. And when it hits, we'll see what's left.

Definition of obsession: Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety.

Definition of Facination: The state of being intensely interested

Agree0 Disagree0

Calm down mate ..... the obsession line was only a joke .... a bit of banter - that said I'm impressed you went to the bother of looking up definitions in the dictionary.

Agree0 Disagree0

Only a joke? It's the most used line of Rangers fans who are irritated by how many fans of other clubs are interested in this story.

You'll be even more impressed that I didn't need a dictionary for the definitions although, that said, you must be really unimpressed by the amount of alledged journalists in Scotland who can't look up the facts on a story relating to Craig Whyte, David Murray, Campbell Ogilvie etc...

Agree0 Disagree0

When reading all the "we'll be back" Churchillian garbage written by Rangers fans on this forum, I'm affected by two emotions;

1: A melancholy sadness at the sheer catastrophic level of denial among them - it's kinda like watching your old Great Gran in the late stages of dementia trying to find her keys and she keeps on returning to the same spot expecting to find them.

2: A real uneasiness that the 4th estate in this country have facilitated this catastrophic denial among the Rangers fans. It really does point to a serious flaw in our journalism. The fish wrappers in this country do not care one iota about real news and journalism - all they do is print non-threatening speculative crap designed to make the low IQ brigade on either side argue with each other in the pub and at work.

Here's to a Scotland without the Rancid Rangers, and to a Scotland where journalists do not pander to Rangers as their meal ticket.

Agree0 Disagree0

Congratulations Rangers on winning the European Top Trophy this season for entertainment. Chelsea won the Champions league but nobody has been as enjoyable as Rangers. There's been a new story everyday since Whyte took over. Truly wonderful that spiv dodgy mendacious liars are getting shown up.

Agree0 Disagree0

"it's seems perfectly reasonable that players, agents etc would all agree at the time, if the money could be paid back at a later date they would accept it- not saying that's a fact just saying it seems reasonable -"

not saying thats a fact - lol - if there is a debt which is hidden to pay back the players

IT WOULD HAVE TO APPEAR IN THE D&P STATEMENT OF DEBTS AND DEBTORS...

doh! you think there is a hidden debt (dont tell me there are side letters for this toooooooo ) ??

unreal
