mate in the hall was telling me that wallace is looking to replace mccoist with souness would love this

Believable24 Unbelievable113

{Ed039's Note - souness has been out of the game for too long, a young, hungry, progressive manager is whats needed)

I would go for Stuart McCall or Derek mccinnnes

Agree1 Disagree5

We already have one Ed his name is Ally Mccoist why are we looking to replace our manager? We are 20 points clear, still in the cup and in the Ramsdens final, what could any other manager bring to the table, talk of changing our manager is madness.

Agree0 Disagree3

{Ed039's Note - There is so much more a manager could do, there is more to it than putting out 11 players we cant afford that I could coach to this title, I really cant see the arguments for McCoist, some people really need to know how to differentiate between Ally the legendary goalscorer and Ally the "manager". There are those pro and those Anti Ally, looks like we will need to agree to disagree on this one mate)

As a football fan I read both Celtic and rangers pages daily! Agree with you on this one ed! It would have been more of an achievement if it were ally with young low cost players from first or second division with hunger to win! Not players from the youth squad that are Molly coddled or players on huge wages from spl that would never have wore a rangers jersey if the situation had been different! Any new manager could win that league with the resources at hand. Don't get me wrong ally has endured the worst situation ever as rangers manager, but I feel he will find it harder next season with costs cut and in a more determined league! Could be harder to get promotion than a lot think

Agree3 Disagree2

I would replace McCoist with anyone with a pulse, the man is rotten to the core,

I am buying my shares as a fan not as a manager. slimey snake

Agree1 Disagree5

Souness would not be a 'yes' man. Would not suit the board.

Agree0 Disagree3

Del you contradicted yourself there, do you really think we could win the league next year with youngsters? Gasperoto at CH Mckay at CM Mcausland at RB Hemmings CF Crawford at RM Mcleod CM Aird LM Telfer CF etc. me neither that's why some of these players have left or are on loan, so don't worry about us Del, we will be fine. Maybe if you play your youths in the CL every year they will gel into a force to be reckond with, sounds ridiculous dosnt it?

Agree0 Disagree2

Op this will be more shyte to try temping season book sales imo

Agree0 Disagree0

@jyf if you read my post properly I said it would be more of an achievement this season playing young hungry players from the old first division, accies Dundee players etc! Rather than over paid second rate premier league players on contracts that are crippling your club once again! As for don't worry we will be fine? Are you sure? Rangers will never be financially stable until they are competing season after season against Celtic! The way Celtic will lower there class season after season until we have rangers to push us! As for youngsters in cl? A would rather use some of them than the money nl continually spends on maybe future gems that turn out to be coal rather than diamonds!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed 39 someone like david moyes lol doug t. s. o

Agree0 Disagree0

Del, it would have been " more of an achievement " if we won the league with one hand tied behind our backs but that's not what its about. Davie Weir played until about his 65th birthday not because he was the fastest most hungry or even the best player on the park but because of experience. you say you would rather watch youngsters, good for you, but do you go on your own site slating the manager for buying players, I doubt it. I said it before we will be fine so let us sort our own mess out, but thanks for the advice anyway mate.

Agree0 Disagree1

@ Delbhoy- cannot disagree with any of your two replies mate. You are clearly too intelligent for a lot of the let's go bust again bears on here

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear, if you think winning the league with youngsters "would be more of an achievement" is intelligent then Heaven help us. The fact is we do need experienced players in to get us up next year and we can do this by getting rid of players who are not getting a game, buying season tickets, and by making ourselves less top heavy, perhaps some of the board will invest some money of their own money who knows. We could quite easily meet the tims this season and pish as they are we are not quite ready for them yet, the team needs investment.

Just read on ssn transfer centre that we are interested in Gabriel tamas for next season what do you guys think a would like to see him here solid defenderbut his wages would be high a think.

Source-Gabriel Tamas joined Doncaster Rovers on a contract until the summer last week, but reports in Romania claim he is unlikely to be staying beyond this season. ProSport is reporting that Rangers will step up an interest in signing Tamas for next season to play in the Scottish Championship. Queens Park Rangers are also keeping tabs on the centre-half.

Believable9 Unbelievable66

{Ed039's Note - not a chance, this is the sort of rumour that makes us a laughing stock, we do not need new players)

Hearing rumours rangers are planning a magor restructure in the next few weeks with lots of dead wood out the door
Simenson, cribari, s. Smith, forster, Perry, black, shield and Clarke as well as Lee Wallace if a 2 million bid is placed
Roumoured to be coming in
Athos solamou, Kris Boyd, k Miller, m. bougherra and Gavin gunning if they agree to the new wage structure of 5. 5k a week

Believable18 Unbelievable131

@op if this is the case who will be our Lb since your rumour has us getting rid of both that we have and also why would anybody with a brain get rid of Clarke for a couple of strikers that have at best a couple of years left in them

Agree0 Disagree0

Perry recently signed new 4 year contract so doubt he'll be leaving!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bougherra miller Boyd all Walters players has mcoist not got a mind or tactics of his own

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - McCoist and Boyd couldnt even look each other in the eye last night, body language says alot and even without it, Ally doesnt like/rate Kris Boyd)

Get rid of the dead wood as you say. but then bring in former players who are well past sell by dates. Probably true then.
