same person just messaged me sayin Johnathon Dos Santos is comin to Glasgow for season loan deal to build first team experience as Pep Guardiola really rates him but he has no chance of gettin a game infront of Xavi, Mascherano and Fàbregas, ewan chester is my uncle and before you all start sayin he is no longer at rangers of course i know that he is leaving norwich at the end of august but still gives rangers a list of players he has been watchin who he thinks are better suited for the mighty Gers.

Giovanni Dos Santos is his older brother who has played for Barca Spurs Ipswich Galatasary, Johnathon has been at Barca since he was 14. I know ive been right with other posts and this looks quite possible, along with nimely from man city

Too many fans don't understand football if they think it is a striker we need. The problem for numerous years has been a lack of creativity in the final third.

If we create the chances Jelavic, Naismith and Lafferty would finish them.

Naismith aint a striker

Very well said someone with flair and creation, someone like Gazza? in fact we could prob get him for a few pints that must be in Mr Ws budget.

U don't know football mate, we need another goal scorer, someone who can partner both laff and Jelaand could also cover for them if they are both injured. Naisy is a creator not a natural scorer, we have plenty midfield now bedoya, Ortiz and Davis along we Naisy, we could maybe do with another midfielder yeah but priority should be a third striker

Niasmith isn't a striker but when he's in that pocket and those channels behind the strikers, he's brilliant. We seen against Hearts and Malmo that he isn't an out and out striker but when midfiled is creating chances he is deadly. So the first poster is right enough in saying if chances were created those 3 would finish them

You must be right, the one thing we need after acquiring almost a dozen midfielders would be another midfield. Naismith isn't an out and out striker and although I like Jelavic and Lafferty upfront we need decent cover at best.

Of course we need a striker Naismith wastes to many chances and will be used out wide more than up front and that leaves us with Jelavic and Lafferty who struck up a decent partnership towards the end of last season but if 1 of them gets injured then we're thread bare up front and Healy will only ever be a squad player

You don't understand football mate. We clearly need a striker to partner Jelavic... Yesterday Lafferty proved he was to similar to Jelavic (not saying hes as gd as him) but we need a striker to linger in the 18 yard box... a boyd would thrive off Jelavic movement n score goals frm his movement.

To be fair to Ally, £3m could be better spent in other areas for Rangers just now, bearing in mind the plethora of players who could slot into our wide areas (Wylde, Naismith, Lafferty, Kerkar, Whittaker, McKay, Ortiz). I’m sure, in an ideal world, Ally would love to spend £3m to add a guy that clearly loves Rangers, but these are the circumstances Rangers find themselves in, and a striker is a bigger priority than a talented, but inconsistent performer, who likely wouldn’t start every game anyway.

Agree mate, why pay £3m for a guy who spent most of last season on the bench when we are badly needing a striker, to put that on twitter is very immature imo

The boy has exceptional ability, shame we haven't went for him. He will be massive wherever he goes. Hope I see him in our shirt again but I doubt it as his value will explode when he starts to get regular football. He was a team player to the guy in here. He was just better than most our team.
