Steven Gerrard has put it out there tonight, that any club wishing to buy our top striker alfredo morelos, will have to pay at least £16million to get him. Nice would be totally wasting their time, bidding £8million, which gerrard states is only half of what el buffalo is worth! But in his interview gerrard knows that if a bid of £16million were to be tabled for morelos, then the rangers board would sell him, no doubt about it! Rangers just can't turn down that sort of money, although we as supporters and Steven Gerrard don't want to see morelos sold, especially so this month!

That is no surprise the lad is worth every penny we will struggle to find another striker like him to replace his work ethic goals assits when he is sold.

Even at £8m that represents 700% profit. I hope he goes for much more, and not before summer, but realistically how much is he worth? If clubs want to overpay bring it on. Some ridiculous valuations at 20m.

Unless we can get into the champs league, keep a hold of him and he does well in it, we will never get 20m. Scoring against the likes of Kilmarnock is just not appealing to any team looking to spend that much.

Obviously it depends where he goes, if he goes to a market whereby Callum Wilson is valued at £75m then I think £15 for Fredo is not that unrealistic. Aberdeen want £7m for McKenna! It’s a sellers market and we have him on a long term contract, u think he will go but not until the summer and hopefully we get the European qualifiers with him.

Apparently Nice boss Vieira has targeted Alfredo as a replacement for outgoing Balotelli. Talks in paper say he will test Rangers resolve with £8m bid, would fully expect board to knock that back.

It’s a sellers market at this time of year, no one with any ambition sells their best player, I have confidence that we will knock back bids unless crazy money is on offer.

There is no way Gerrard and Rangers are going to sell Morelos for 8m! That kind of money is nothing in this day and age!
You have boys down south that have done nothing at EPL level and fetch a price tag of 20m to other EPL teams ie Dominic Solanke C'mon because he is on the books at Liverpool what as he done to merit that worth?! He plays in the EPL (the most overrated league in the world) but the thing is he hasn't been playing!
Rangers and Gerrard are starting to build a team We certainly aren't going to be losing one of our stars for anything less than 15m!
For the record, he is worth every penny He has an international cap for Colombia and is only just turned 22yo He is going places but he can also go places with Rangers if we can get the Champions League.

I'll add a bit of fire to this why not.
I was on the motorway traveling from glasgow to visit the grand parents earlier in the month. My uncle was driving (not a football fan), I was in the back seat. He said he was overtaken by a Rolls Royce with Viera as the private reg. I looked I'm up and seen he was managing Nice thought it may of been ntcham.
