Looks like Rhys McCabe first to reject newco

If thus is true i have no respect for him at all. This time last no one had heard of him. We give him a chance to play 1st team football and now does one. A real shame as he looks a good player. Shame no loyalty! You were a no body. Now you think after 1 year you are a somebody :-(

To the first reply: what would you do if your future was up in the air, you didn't know how much or if you would be paid next month, what your future contract would be, if the newco would be secure or if you'd be asked to take another wage cut? Would you hang around if you had bills to pay, a family etc.?

McCabe needs to look after himself. Shown faith in him? Rubbish. A boy like McCabe reaches the level of first team breakthrough via a combination of coaching and personal talent/effort. The latter being the most important. He'd have gained the same level of support at any other club. We do not have some magnificent youth formula. We're not Crewe, we're not Barca. We don't give youngsters that something special. Now, if the boy can find a better pay packet, and more importantly for him at this age, a better coaching structure elsewhere, then he should take it. Nobody is more gutted than I at out current predicament, but lets not kid ourselves on about youth players and loyalty. When we could afford it, we shunned young talent at the expense over overpaid senior pro's. Let's become the club from hereon in who nurtures young players. Maybe if that had been the case in recent times, guy's like McCabe may have looked more favourably on staying at Rangers. We can only reap what we sow. Good riddance Whittaker and all the bank breakers. Lets focus on the future.

Rhys Mcabe has walked away from the club after rejecting offer to join newco! very dissapointing, a club that showed faith in him and then he walks! 1 other unmaned player has also opted to walk away, with papers arriving from his agent today at Ibrox, i now fear the worst!

Your having a laugh showed faith in him by cutting his wages and jeopardising his future he Is quite wright to walk its about high time the fans get off there arse and save the club your still waiting for the blue knight but he ain't coming !

So far there is no newco football team & Rangers as we use to know them are an exstink spedies

Both players have delivered solicitor letters by courier this afternoon.

If as you say you have followed the gers for 37 years then you will know, that the fans will always follow the gers home and away no matter where we are, and who are these fans who are walking away? they were never fans in the first place!

This young man has not had nay contact from Green and co ,,, he doesnt know what may happen in th eweeks to come ,he may even get "shaffted" on the way.. and has looked out for his own future good on him .

Rangers supporters groups fighting over the £620k left in the fighting fund.

Pay to small creditors FFS and get rid of it. Least we can go down with some dignity.

I donated to this fund and am pissed off, it was meant to be used to pay small creditors. They decide to pay Dunfermline and not pay Dundee United, a club that will vote on their future.
They then decide to spend money on the pitch, it is unreal. I emailed jim Hannah four weeks ago and no reply.
How can they be do unaware of The fans feelings?

Get the money paid to the small creditors now never mind arguing over it

Give it to the hmrc and start another one and give the money to green to bump you's this time

Bbc Scotland reporting 4 clubs saying NO.
Hearts, Dundee Utd, Aberdeen, Hibs only one more sinks gers.
Also reporting D&P need to send lord hodge report within 3 weeks.

Why does RFC not just go to Div 3 voluntarily.

Every day there's more bad news.Apart from all the NO votes pouring in,I see Lloyds Bank showing concern about use of ticket money(The Telegraph)When is this nightmare going to be over?I can't take any more of this gringing down,day by day.

Its just a slow painfull death.I wish they would just shoot us in the back of the head and be done with it.These morons who are in charge now couldn't even set up a bank account where season ticket money could be secured.what chance have we got?

Trying to buy nottingham forest, herd they got some money troubles there aswell but could be a root to the english game

Did Green himself not say in the early days that his motivation to buy Rangers was because it was an opportunity to get a club with the potential of European football at a bargain price and that to get a club in England with that potential would be impossible, financially.
If they had the money to buy an English club then they would have just done that rather than buy Rangers and an English club. Had it been a Rangers man rather than Green, then the story might have been a bit more credible as they would see that as getting a foothold in the English league.
However, playing at Ibrox would have been a non-starter.

Remember, they don't even have to vote no. It's the number of yes votes that counts - i.e. it only needs 5 abstentions.

Inverness, Kilmarnock and Inverness to vote yes to Rangers newco.

St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd to vote no. It is thought that Hibs remain undecided and may hold the key vote.

St Mirren and Hibs will vote No, so add in Celtic vote and the fat lady has stopped singing.

Hibs have already stated there view , and stated to day to the bbc , it is still not changed, its a no im sorry to say

It is thought by me that Rod Petrie will definitely vote against us in the SPL & it won't be the key vote at all. BB

Hibs are the very club most likely to vote No.... Rod Petrie was the very first club chairman to play the "sporting integrity" card, and to be fair to him I suppose Hibs have been relegated in the recent past and came back from it (unlike Aberdeen and Motherwell who managed to play a Get Out Of Jail Free Card in past years).

Petrie would be torn from limb to limb. No chance of a Hibee yes vote.

Ibrox season-ticket renewal money gathered by direct debit is being held in the oldco Rangers' bank account, where it can be claimed by creditors, after Charles Green's group failed to make the necessary banking arrangements.

How can that be legal

Well I for 1 hope the creditors get it at least some respect would be gained back

The money is NOT in the old co account it's in an Escrow account which is a protected holding account for the 'new' Rangers BUT the agent of that account is Charles Green - and he 'owns' the money until the newco is fully set up.

To original poster away and read Mr Greens statment on official website.the amount of rubbish getting posted on here is now past the point of banter or rumours.

The account is not in escroe it belongs to the old company
