Looks like Rhys McCabe first to reject newco

Believable37 Unbelievable5

If thus is true i have no respect for him at all. This time last no one had heard of him. We give him a chance to play 1st team football and now does one. A real shame as he looks a good player. Shame no loyalty! You were a no body. Now you think after 1 year you are a somebody :-(

Agree0 Disagree0

To the first reply: what would you do if your future was up in the air, you didn't know how much or if you would be paid next month, what your future contract would be, if the newco would be secure or if you'd be asked to take another wage cut? Would you hang around if you had bills to pay, a family etc.?

Agree0 Disagree0

McCabe needs to look after himself. Shown faith in him? Rubbish. A boy like McCabe reaches the level of first team breakthrough via a combination of coaching and personal talent/effort. The latter being the most important. He'd have gained the same level of support at any other club. We do not have some magnificent youth formula. We're not Crewe, we're not Barca. We don't give youngsters that something special. Now, if the boy can find a better pay packet, and more importantly for him at this age, a better coaching structure elsewhere, then he should take it. Nobody is more gutted than I at out current predicament, but lets not kid ourselves on about youth players and loyalty. When we could afford it, we shunned young talent at the expense over overpaid senior pro's. Let's become the club from hereon in who nurtures young players. Maybe if that had been the case in recent times, guy's like McCabe may have looked more favourably on staying at Rangers. We can only reap what we sow. Good riddance Whittaker and all the bank breakers. Lets focus on the future.

Rhys McCabe becomes the first player to officially object to transfer from Rangers to newco. Now exercising his right to leave as free agent

Believable29 Unbelievable2

Shame good player, but has to look after his future with security. Hold the door open Neil, give this boy a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you don't want to play for rangers ... Get too f/@&... He would be no1 if it wasn't for us..

Agree0 Disagree0

It was only a matter of time before one of the players challenged Green's position that playing staff " must " transfer to newco .... the great fear now is that it could create a precedent thus triggering a mass exodus ...... Fraser Wishart is of a view that the players have the right to leave ( allbeit at reduced prices ) if they wish given the terms of the deal struck regarding reduction of wages earlier in the season and the workings of the TUPE agreement .... wish Ally had never mentioned " walking away " as the players will have to do just that to ensure their future careers ......... just the start methinks .

Agree0 Disagree0

Im a rangers fan of 30 year wake up and smell the coffee its over why should players move to newco just to be sold to fund new club i think the players have done there bit last season i say thank-you for what you've done and all the best as for newco its not the club i supported man and boy sadly r i p RFC

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jun 2012 23:00:26
Rhys Mcabe has walked away from the club after rejecting offer to join newco! very dissapointing, a club that showed faith in him and then he walks! 1 other unmaned player has also opted to walk away, with papers arriving from his agent today at Ibrox, i now fear the worst!

Believable23 Unbelievable4

Your having a laugh showed faith in him by cutting his wages and jeopardising his future he Is quite wright to walk its about high time the fans get off there arse and save the club your still waiting for the blue knight but he ain't coming !

Agree0 Disagree0

Newco did not show faith in Rhys McCabe.
So far there is no newco football team & Rangers as we use to know them are an exstink spedies

Agree0 Disagree0

Both players have delivered solicitor letters by courier this afternoon.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will not be the last i have no probs with any of them leaving they need to secure there future and rangers can not offer this anymore we will not be in the spl next year maybe even in the third we will have a huge drop in income so we cant pay our top players they have to go or we would be back in administration it will have to be a team of boys i have said before on here getting back up to the spl will not be easy we need a sugar daddy to pump money in for three to five years till we can get back up and that is not mr green i realy fear for our club the fans are split the board act like the secret sevice other fan will not accept anything but the death of rangers even in the long run this kills their own team they will all survive buy in what form can they all garuntee they will still be here in say four years each day that passes fans are walking away my sky contract stopped today well espn in 28 days i wont need it even if we do get back up how many fans will we still have and of these how many will travel to away grounds this will take years and years to calm down so no matter what its a no win situation for all clubs i know you are all loving it right now and rightly so but two to three years from now ? The product was very poor before but what players will want to come up here and play but good luck to the players where ever they land and i think it time to play golf on a sat ive spent 37 years following rangers home n away time for a change let some young blood take over over and out

Agree0 Disagree0

"Unmaned" - does this mean he's bald? Could be Aluko! Ye've got to have a laugh or you'd cut your throat right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do not blame them as green is another whyte he has been caught out lying of a few occasions already when do we here who is the 20 people putting cash in ??

rhys has refused to go to newco he has not left RANGERS FC they have died when will that get thru to some fans this is a new club an not the club i grew up supporting

Agree0 Disagree0

If as you say you have followed the gers for 37 years then you will know, that the fans will always follow the gers home and away no matter where we are, and who are these fans who are walking away? they were never fans in the first place!

Agree0 Disagree0

This young man has not had nay contact from Green and co ,,, he doesnt know what may happen in th eweeks to come ,he may even get "shaffted" on the way.. and has looked out for his own future good on him .

Agree0 Disagree0

Is the unmaned player a lion?

Agree0 Disagree0

Will this mean a boycott of any company with someone called McCabe working for it? That would be as ridiculous as all the other boycotts mentioned.

the main stand may well be closed due to the high levels of asbestos, which is making the mordernisation of the statutory alarm systems nearly impossible, which means it will fail the safety certificate at the next inspection

Believable37 Unbelievable35

This is yet another fib..... Alarm systems were renewed approx 3 years ago...

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte de-duped the alarm system a year ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

There are high levels of asbestos in a lot of buildings, as long is it is not disturbed it will cause no harm. All they would do is fit a brand new alarm system and isolate the exsisting at source, ed, re name site rangers DIY lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate thats bull i work with at bp grangemouth where theres alot of asbestos and it is monitored and only time we have to report it is if its shown an u touched it it will not be out in the open at ibrox FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

The main stand like the rest of the stadium was given a cheap make over simply look at the dressingrooms they badly beed upgraded in fact the full stadium needs work the first few quotes were in the region of 12 million. At the moment its not a major concern but it is something that will have to be addressed in the future.

Agree0 Disagree0

The alarm bells should have been ringing a long time ago !

Agree0 Disagree0

But you just cant fault the pitch, the money used from the RFFF has been well spent. And when they begin selling off the pitch as reminders of the good old days I will not hesitate in paying my money for it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nearly impossible?. so what's the problem then?.

CJM

Agree0 Disagree0

The systems were renewed 3 years ago, does not mean its up to standard

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did you get your info on asbestos being ok if left undisturbed it either has to be encapsulated or removed. Murray was advised to have this removed 7 years ago.

Agree0 Disagree0

Schools, hospitals, public buildings, houses , garage roofs, artex, asbestos everywhere (blue, white, brown) no danger unless desturbed ( retired asbestos remover)

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte de duped the alarm system last year ... must be the comment of the year i think if i was going into carry out work in ibrox and was told dont worry about the asbestos craig whyte says he sorted it i would be out their like a rocket

Agree0 Disagree0

( retired asbestos remover) your comments dont sound very professional to me (more a bit cowboy-ish ) dangerous and poor ...1st no danger unless disturbed ?? deteriorating building cause disturbance themselves which is why they need to be monitored blue or brown is more commonly found on lagging and instillation lagging on pipe work can contain up to 85% asbestos and is high risk of releasing and due to maintenance work is of high risk of being disturbed i remember ibrox had a problem with their pipe work and that would be a real problem if it was used in lagging i dont know the ins and outs of ibrox or or if their is a problem am merely pointing out the dangers of you ill found comments and trying to pass your self of as a professional is very poor

Rangers season ticket deadline extended till the 11th of July, and prices will be adjusted if The Gers are not in the SPL.

Believable20 Unbelievable8

When m8 when.......

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh right! You really think Charles Greed will hang around after getting all the season ticket money?

Agree0 Disagree0

What do they think we are? D&P being taken to task, Bidders arriving and walking away, players not taking wages, just in case their contracts are not correct, and oh by the way please buy season tickets and pay the money into an account that HMRC now have control of, and we will let you pay right up until 11 July the day before we were due to come out of adminstraition. Yes we are the cash cow and they are milking us hard for a team that may or may not exsist on 12 July

Agree0 Disagree0

And which account is the money going into? Old Rangers to pay of the creditors or New Rangers to pay some wages?

Agree0 Disagree0

I might be more inclined to buy at 3rd Div prices now and pay more if SPL entry comes about. Who is he trying to kid?

Agree0 Disagree0

After phoning Ibrox, today told if you do not stop direct debit by Tuesday they will remove funds regardless of signing renewal forms......BE WARNED!

Agree0 Disagree0

The newco HAS no bank account...monies are being paid into old co.. so none of the money will be available to the newco ....BEWARE if you think otherwise....The Reaper

According to the Herald newco has failed to open a business bank account.

Rangers supporters groups fighting over the £620k left in the fighting fund.

Believable28 Unbelievable9

Pay to small creditors FFS and get rid of it. Least we can go down with some dignity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, pay the small creditors off ffs! At least we can use that money for something worthwhile!

Agree0 Disagree0

I donated to this fund and am pissed off, it was meant to be used to pay small creditors. They decide to pay Dunfermline and not pay Dundee United, a club that will vote on their future.
They then decide to spend money on the pitch, it is unreal. I emailed jim Hannah four weeks ago and no reply.
How can they be do unaware of The fans feelings?

Agree0 Disagree0

Get the money paid to the small creditors now never mind arguing over it

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it queensbury rules ?

Agree0 Disagree0

As my auld man put it on the subject of the RFF - 'they couldnae run a menodge'.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give it to the hmrc and start another one and give the money to green to bump you's this time

Agree0 Disagree0

Pay off all the small creditors immediately,it's a complete embarassment that we haven't done so.When money is available, pay off all the other teams we owe money too.Let the authorities chase Murray and Whyte for the tax and ticketus etc and LETS GET ON WITH IT !!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We are now paying the price of the arrogance the RFF displayed by not paying Dundee Untd. The old saying "pride cometh before a fall" now the shoes is on the other foot, who must carry the blame for this, the RFF, and now it appears from posts that the infighting has begun, over the money thats left. Oh dear it looks like more courts and police involvement

Agree0 Disagree0

The small creditors would at least be grateful, 2 faced Yorkston gratefully took our cash and has rubbished us ever since

Agree0 Disagree0

Finaly some rangers fan talking a bit sense! !maybe if uz made an effort to pay small creditors instead or running away(not walking as u dont do that!) mite swing a few votes in ur favour

Agree0 Disagree0

Give it to the small creditors as well as give them all our business to show that despite certain other fans perception of us that we do care and we feel it for the likes of those left short through no fault of their own.

Agree0 Disagree0

The way funds have been used (or not used) by the RFF relative to how we were told they would be used when they asked for donations must border on fraud.

Agree0 Disagree0

Take 140,000 out and get the little girl thats dieing in mexico back home to Die with her family by her side and that will show the football world that RANGERS PEOPLE ARE HONERABLE PEOPLE.

Fans bid for Postsmouth FC! Why couldn't we do that rather than wasting our money of turf for Ibrox and lawyers to fight the transfer ban. Neither of which will matter if we aren't playing football!

We have all let our club town I'm afraid.
What has happened to the RFFF money?
BBC - The Pompey Supporters Trust has submitted a rival offer to take control of financially-troubled Portsmouth to administrator Trevor Birch.

Insolvency firm Begbies Traynor has confirmed to BBC South that it has finalised a bid on behalf of the PST.

Supporters have been pledging a minimum of £1000 to help support the bid while the Trust recently revealed they had attracted five 'high net worth' individuals who had offered over £1m.

Believable13 Unbelievable7

"...five 'high net worth' individuals who had offered over £1m."

Wahey!, Go the Blue Knights.

Agree0 Disagree0

£600k RFF was never going to buy the club and keep it going through the summer FFS.

Pledges are one thing, getting the cash off them is another.

And we've heard the "five 'high net worth' individuals" story before as have Portsmouth. Part of the reason HMRC hammered us is because of their previous experience with Portsmouth where they agreed a CVA which failed miserably.

Wouldn't put Portsmouth up as the ideal model.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a great idea. Rangers fans buy Portsmouth and the prisons on the Isle of Wight. Refurbish these and all the bears could move from the misery that is Goven and the SPL to the green (sorry) hills of the south.

Agree0 Disagree0

U could have murray asked u

Agree0 Disagree0

Why did we pay for turf for Green? He's the millionaire with 20 millionaire consortium guys. The money was for minor creditors from the fans. The creditors got nothing. Under what regulations is this money being collected, banked and spent, accounted for? Company or charity?

Agree0 Disagree0

Did not matter how much we offered you needed D&P on your side to get through the administration process, and while other bidders won over the supporters and players; Green and another were the preferred bidders. Although all those given preferred bidder status do not seem to have had any more money than the Blue Knights, etc. They promised more and when they were in pole position offered less. The only key difference is that Green offered the amount needed to pay D&P's fees and did not question this, so you can read into that what you want!

Agree0 Disagree0

Because the fans wanted some multi millionaire to fund glory

Agree0 Disagree0

Most ordinary working class folks don't have the faith or the savvy for dealing with money in this way. So they look up to those who know what they are doing! Sad but its how society has been conditioned. Truth is, its the supporters and the sky subscribers who have all the power, but the real power belongs to the shepherd's who herd the masses. Baaahhaaaaaaaa.

Bbc Scotland reporting 4 clubs saying NO.
Hearts, Dundee Utd, Aberdeen, Hibs only one more sinks gers.
Also reporting D&P need to send lord hodge report within 3 weeks.

Believable30 Unbelievable2

Why does RFC not just go to Div 3 voluntarily.

Regain some dignity??

Agree0 Disagree0

All other news outlets however have said that Aberdeen haven't decided yet and these other rumours are wrong

Agree0 Disagree0

St Mirren and Calley will say no as fans are being given the decision.

Agree0 Disagree0

It one thing saying you will vote no. It's another thing doing it. Remember secret ballot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't it ironic that in the end it's the wee diddy teams we beat week in week out that's sinking us.
The mighty Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

The wee diddy teams have not sunk the gers. Put that one on the previous owners.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers are now a diddy team .good luck against elgin city .stadium capacity 500

Agree0 Disagree0

See they wee diddy teams, They have Players, A league , A strip, Loyal Fans, and a park tae play on. What have New Rangers got? Not even a name or bank account. No wonder other teams hate us, The way the Loud mouths disrespect others but think they should show us respect. Away and bile your heid ya bampot.
Jada Govan Loyal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh you want a secret ballot what happened to everything in the open, list all of the clubs that vote to keep Team12 in the SPL and watch the attendancies fall, season tickets handed back, and a boycot by the Celtic support at these grounds. SPL diddy teams 1 Team 12 0.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Jada reality at last!

Agree0 Disagree0

Who gives a sh-t how they vote.

Agree0 Disagree0

Secret ballot. I demand to know these people names....

Agree0 Disagree0

How dare you call other teams wee diddy teams fans like you will hopefully not follow the newco no wonder we get bad press

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest, can anyone see new gers playing in any league next year or the next?. Rumour is, green hasnt paid anything as yet, and he was intending using season ticket money.
I honestly feel its the end, maybe a couple of years out to recoup finances would help but would the support hang about I dont think so. jock

Lord Hodge at the Court of Session in Edinburgh orders Duff & Phelps to prove there is no conflict of interest with their administration of RFC

Believable18 Unbelievable1

The judge said he took no view about what the BBC had said, but wanted to know whether Duff and Phelps had obtained and acted on legal advice on the question of conflict of interest.

Lord Hodge said he had done nothing until now because he did not want to hinder the process of Rangers going into liquidation.

But, he told the accountants' lawyers: "There is considerable public interest in this jurisdiction in relation to the administration."

Lord Hodge added: "I do not want the administration to come to an end without having received that report."

The report demanded by Lord Hodge is expected to be ready in three weeks and a further court hearing is likely to be arranged after that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't help one way or the other. Damage is done.

Agree0 Disagree0

As a rangers fan i would accept starting again in div 3 just take it on the chin and start again aleast we will still have our Pride rather than getting the other teams to say they saved us

Agree0 Disagree0

These people could not run a whelk stall?
Pay your debts..............do you think you are above all morality.
I was born and bred Rangers but my patience/tolerance is about to give up££££££££££££££££££

Every day there's more bad news.Apart from all the NO votes pouring in,I see Lloyds Bank showing concern about use of ticket money(The Telegraph)When is this nightmare going to be over?I can't take any more of this gringing down, day by day.

Believable30 Unbelievable3

Its just a slow painfull death.I wish they would just shoot us in the back of the head and be done with it.These morons who are in charge now couldn't even set up a bank account where season ticket money could be secured.what chance have we got?

Agree0 Disagree0

Trying to buy nottingham forest, herd they got some money troubles there aswell but could be a root to the english game

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe if rangers cease to exist then life can go on. All this is just dragging on. It's time for this episode to conclude... For better or for worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your nightmare ended last week.

Rangers died.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think i will go and watch pollok juniors fed up wi this

Agree0 Disagree0

See all you so called Gers fans who keep rattling on about English League when are you going to wake up and get it? THEY DON'T WANT US DOWN THERE. If you want to support an english club then there are hundreds to choose from Go support them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Buying Notts Forest? FFS Gie's peace, honestly. What are we buying it with?

And does any idiot actually think a club with their histoy - including 2 European Cups let's not forget - are just gonna let a liquidated club from another league buy them up to change their identity. No way. Get real guys. BB

Agree0 Disagree0

Re ; when will it be over ? death will come soon enough as far as the former rfc is concerned ,, the post mortem results however will be startling and will take years to finally conclude ........ because I fully believe that those results when released will see it start all over again with criminal proceedings ....... several so called rangers men will be having sleepless nights right now and with good reason for her majesty's tax men will inevitably give way to her majesty's judiciary system passing down lenthy prison sentences ........ one of them will also be stripped of his knighthood during that process ...... at that stage it will finally be over ...........!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe this whole "buy an English club" malarky can be put to bed.
Did Green himself not say in the early days that his motivation to buy Rangers was because it was an opportunity to get a club with the potential of European football at a bargain price and that to get a club in England with that potential would be impossible, financially.
If they had the money to buy an English club then they would have just done that rather than buy Rangers and an English club. Had it been a Rangers man rather than Green, then the story might have been a bit more credible as they would see that as getting a foothold in the English league.
However, playing at Ibrox would have been a non-starter.

Allan McGregor is being linked with a move to Aston Villa

Believable42 Unbelievable4

Given is at Villa. Do they really need another keeper? I don't think either of those two would be happy warming the bench

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Villa fan i would be very happy with this, as much as i rate Given i think Mcgregor edges it as an all round keeper.

Hope you lot join the English league as it is apparent to me that the other clubs are trying to destroy you and will then move onto Celtic. Your FA is worse than ours and that is saying something

Aberdeen have came out officially, its a NO from them. St Mirren to release a no vote at 10am.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18539483

Believable22 Unbelievable14

What to expect? We tried to shut down St. Mirren for their vote. Gary withy in their boardroom pouring over their accounts!

Agree0 Disagree0

Their chairman has denied this since.

Agree0 Disagree0

Accordin to sky aberdeen are undecided as of yet

Agree0 Disagree0

What a load of tosh!! Aberdeen Chairman has not decided FACT!

Agree0 Disagree0

These clubs are all coming out saying that they are going to vote no! Just a thought is the actual vote going to be made official? Or will it be a secret ballot by the 12 teams?

Agree0 Disagree0

"Aberdeen have came out officially" - always knew they were a bit light on the loafers!

in all honesty did we really expect anything else from them?

Agree0 Disagree0

You didnt actually expect the dons to vote any other way, did you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Surprise surprise Aberdeen voteing against Rangers who would have thought that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry guys you brought all this doom & gloom upon yourselves. Just a wee point, Aberdeen have not confirmed which way they will vote yet. So the results of the Pittoddrie Jury is ' Your jackets are still on a shoogly peg ' not yet over until fat sally sings.

Agree0 Disagree0

Remember, they don't even have to vote no. It's the number of yes votes that counts - i.e. it only needs 5 abstentions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye thats fine, but will the vote be a secret vote where the other teams dont even know who voted for what?
I.e. Are they just saying this in the papers to please their own fans?

Agree0 Disagree0

McKenna and Stewart have pulled out and will not be bidding.
Did not fancy them at all.

Aberdeen have voted no to newco, which is three now, so no chance of SPL place, we would need eight votes.

Not good.

Believable20 Unbelievable4

It's not the end of the world if we start again in the 3rd division....I just hope the clubs that have voted 'NO' will never see another Rangers fan in their stadium ever again. The old firm has kept them alive for years.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seems like they didn't fancy Rangers either given the amount of money it would have cost to run the club. Does Green have the funds?

Agree0 Disagree0

There is much chance of any team in Scotland seeing a Rangers fan in their stadium as there is a Third Lanark, Airdrieonians or Gretna fan.

Absolutely none as like those other teams Rangers no longer exist

Agree0 Disagree0

Why the hell are these guys bidding when we are now a newco, at least green is trying, we are better off in first division at best, for one season, the other clubs won't vote for us staying in SPL, although they will suffer in the long term.

Agree0 Disagree0

Falkirk dont want us in div1 could be a backlash there too

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jun 2012 10:34:29
Inverness, Kilmarnock and Inverness to vote yes to Rangers newco.

St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd to vote no. It is thought that Hibs remain undecided and may hold the key vote.

Believable4 Unbelievable21

St Mirren and Hibs will vote No, so add in Celtic vote and the fat lady has stopped singing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibs have already stated there view , and stated to day to the bbc , it is still not changed, its a no im sorry to say

Agree0 Disagree0

It is thought by me that Rod Petrie will definitely vote against us in the SPL & it won't be the key vote at all. BB

Agree0 Disagree0

Do Inverness like RFC so much they will vote Yes twice?

Or can we presume you mean Ross County?

Hibs are the very club most likely to vote No.... Rod Petrie was the very first club chairman to play the "sporting integrity" card, and to be fair to him I suppose Hibs have been relegated in the recent past and came back from it (unlike Aberdeen and Motherwell who managed to play a Get Out Of Jail Free Card in past years).

Agree0 Disagree0

Petrie would be torn from limb to limb. No chance of a Hibee yes vote.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do Inverness get two votes?!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Do inverness get 2 votes then lol

din22

Agree0 Disagree0

You can include Celtic in the no vote so that's 5.... time to find a league!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Did Inverness get two votes

Agree0 Disagree0

Two inverness teams in spl

Agree0 Disagree0

So glad to see Inverness are getting two votes... Now to hope Rangers can too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Inverness puting to fan groups

Agree0 Disagree0

Those who vote yes will be shunned by every other fan in the league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rfc voted against ictfc joining the spl after we won the 1st div .you lot have short memories. what goes around comes around.

Agree0 Disagree0

Motherwell will say no after a club members ballot in a week or so's time.so bye ,bye rangers nice knowing you. Brilliant now we need to get rid of celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic could actually abstain.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Celtic Abstain would that not count as a yes vote, what happens if all clubs abstain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic will not vote. They will wait until Hibs and Motherwell vote no and take it to 5 saving them voting and causing mayhem from the idiot fringe looking for an excuse to vent their anger.

Agree0 Disagree0

'now we just meet to get rid of Celtic' so It's is based on sporting integrity? Integrity or not, all fans would always vote to get rangers out, as soon as rangers are out the voting structure will change and then will will see how 'Celtic we don't need rangers' get on!

Agree0 Disagree0

There is not a snowballs chance in hell of Celtic not voting. The odds are now massively stacked against a yes vote allowing any newco into the SPL.

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant blame caley after our vote on them

could the rangers new co go into administration within the first month of being up and running? Is that why greens asked Walter smiths consortium to join forces,

No banks to allow bank accounts to be opened,

No bank willing to give loans,

Green having insufficient funds,

No season ticket renewals,

No purchase of new merchandise,

Greens consortiums main investors pulling out,

Wage bills needing to be paid,

Definitely doesn't sound good,
Definetly a situation that could happen...!!

:(

WORRIED RANGERS FAN!

Said the same to friends yesterday that we could go back into admin at some point next season.

I asked last week if Charles Green officially owned the assets of Rangers and to be honest I still haven't seen conclusive proof that he does - and yes I'm discounting whatever D&P might say on the matter.

For starters, wasn't one condition of his purchase that Rangers would be in the SPL? What happens when it's confirmed that that ain't gonna happen, could it be Green's turn to walk away?

If so, what happens if another buyer isn't prepared to take on the purchase of assets ASAP?

It's not even just worrying any more, it's downright scary! BB

You have made a very valid point there kid, Rangers fans have every right to be worried.

Just like a high percentage of start-up businesses fail in the first to third years, a large number of companies who suffer an insolvency event suffer a subsequent event after the original problems as things are tighter due to creditors being more insistent on being paid

Agree0 Disagree0

Will the newco keep their history.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes keep History Played 0 Won 0 Lost 0 Draw 0, trophies 0 titles 0.

Can see selling the ground and training park off to the developers soon and Rangers doing a third lanark

Agree0 Disagree0

Newco. Keeping history is least of our problems there r more important items on the agenda

Ibrox season-ticket renewal money gathered by direct debit is being held in the oldco Rangers' bank account, where it can be claimed by creditors, after Charles Green's group failed to make the necessary banking arrangements.

Believable27 Unbelievable6

How can that be legal

Agree0 Disagree0

Well I for 1 hope the creditors get it at least some respect would be gained back

Agree0 Disagree0

The money is NOT in the old co account it's in an Escrow account which is a protected holding account for the 'new' Rangers BUT the agent of that account is Charles Green - and he 'owns' the money until the newco is fully set up.

To original poster away and read Mr Greens statment on official website.the amount of rubbish getting posted on here is now past the point of banter or rumours.

Agree0 Disagree0

The account is not in escroe it belongs to the old company

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you believe anything coming out of ibrox?
green hasnt paid any money and has a clause that he can walk if dont get into spl remember, season ticket money was going to pay administrators, so yet again purchased by season ticket money.
