I think gents, that we all need to take a deep breath and let people get on with this ( tax cases and SPL inquests) from outside the club. We as fans just need to accept that we are now in the third division and just have to work our way back up to being champions of Scotland again. In time this will be a reality, until then let's just concentrate on the team and winning our games.

Iain

Next time we win the SPL it will be biggest party ever.

I wholeheartedly agree with this.

Unfortunately I, and the vast majority of our amazing support, cannot forget what has been done to us and how we have been treated. Guilty as hell until proven innocent...and even now i am STILL being told that we 'cheated' and 'stole money from the tax man'. The hatred will never end, regardless that we are innocent.

Cue posts from the haters telling us we arent innocent etc

Totally agree Iain. But theirs something that has pissed me off for ages and Daryl King on clyde 1 has just touched on it.
What was that Donald Muir (Lloyds) all about? I cant help feeling that HE organized the whyte, grier, and ticketus deal. Just a hunch! It's hardly ever mentioned.

But your right we need to get right behind Ally and the team! They've took pelters tae!

In the real world we don't condone tax avoidance from celebrities or so called tsar,s, the same papers who are heralding this as a victory are the self same ones who hunt down and expose these schemes , even if the tribunal found in rangers favour it's still morally wrong so why are the media carrying the verdict around shoulder high

Completely agree with Iain, one really sad outcome of all this is that both Rangers and Celtic have worked for years to suppress bigotry and sectarianism and this debacle has brought it all back to the surface. HMRC should hang their heads in shame.

Well said mate. I couldn't give a monkey's about the tax case or the spl inquest to be honest. I am just 1 very glad rangers supporter who is enjoying the fact we still have a club to support. It's a long road back to the top, but I'll be there every step of the way!!

What u on about bigotry its all football banter ya muppet. we Scotland as a great country has done wonders to leave bigotry behind in the 80s n 90s so u my friend r in a small minority.
CALM DOWN DEAR

SDM is blaming HMRC for ruining Rangers, and yet the FTT report states: (Mr Red) was so obstructive that he refused to meet HMRC and that no documents were forthcoming until police raided Ibrox in the autumn of 2007. Nor did the Murray Group provide full documentation until May 2009 “ for an investigation that began in January 2004. Mr Red is characterised as evasive and obstructiveť, and that on more than one occasion he attempted to mislead the Tribunal.ť

If he was so confident of the outcome then why obstruct and mislead HMRC for years ?

The big blue hoose was ruined by Mr Red and Mr White and saved by Mr Green.

Are you for real mate? years of abuse and slanderous mudslinging which culminated in the demise of our club. The detractors who`s goal in life is to see Rangers and their fans suffer have been proven wrong and you want to just get on with it?
I`d struggle to find the words to describe my feelings given the news on the tax case but here`s one for starters PAYBACK! It`s already been suggested that those who dug deepest in this whole debacle have done so with malicious intent and what every true Rangers fan should now be demanding now is that an enquiry that goes right to the very top be made immediately. We need to realise what`s been going on here and the depth of unadulterated hatred that certain people have for Rangers.
We already have one parasite who`s still glowing in the plaudits following his BBC documentary.
Im no investigative journalist but neither is the cretin who`s made it his mission in life to undermine Rangers through his Tax case blog . An enquirry would do well to start right there and determine just where or more to the point who he got his inside information from.
Murry made mistakes for sure and of course hes not blameless but would Rangers have ended up at the same point had we not been pursued so vigorously? Im a great believer in what goes around comes around so lets have no more apathy on here, people need to smell the coffee and stand up for our club. Far reaching questions need to be asked and we as a support need to demand answers, Rangers deserve nothing less.

Well here's a question ? why has Ally not been calling fror the name of Mr. Red to be revealed.
Tam

Iain I totally agree with you, however reading some of the posts on here I fear there are some people who are so angry about having the wool pulled over their eyes but the so called owners of the club are and will continue to lash out at all and sundry, ignoring the facts and the real culprits. Better to use any such energy in supporting the team now.

If Murray was confident of no wrong doing then why did he sell for a quid? That's a question that's got to be asked and answered. and let's not get carried away there is tax owed we just don't know how much. all this blaming the HMRC and the spl is nonsence there as still a 40m pound debt without the big tax case it's time questions were asked of them that were in chare of the club an aloud it to be liquidated. Nobody was confident of winning the case or whyte would have been nowhere near the place. It still all stinks

Could'nt agree more about getting on with it, but I would like to get to the bottom of this to find out why it happened, who had the power to make it happen or was it just the usual bully boys of HMRC at there best. Or I hate to say it for the good of sporting integrity the ones on the dark side in rhe HMRC

To the post above about the 40 million pound dept without the big tax case and why Murray sold for a fiver ! SPOT ON !,

Ask one question. who was responsible for rfc liquidation? the day sdm decided to take risky tax strategy. thats it. he gambled everything .

Spot on guys me being a celtic fan it pains me to say this but i really miss Rangers in the spl.
1. NO OLD FIRM GAMES.
2. THE BANTER
3. BEST GAME IN THE WORLD.

I asked my employer if he could pay my salary in the form of a loan so that I did not have to pay any income tax or NI. They have declined as they said it was everyone's duty to contribute to the society they live in and contribute to the NHS that we all benefit from. Pity the supporters of Rangers (deceased) and the new football club which masquerades as the old one don't agree with this basic philosophy. They should read the judgement fully and then contribute to a reasoned discussion and not the dredge up the same old pathetic bigotry that has characterized them for over a century.

I'm sure if you were self-employed your accountant would be only too pleased to help you avoid paying some tax.

Great point the the old firm game is a big loss for scottish football i think deep down both sets of fans are missing the fixture by far its the best game in the world the banter is great i have a few celtic supporting freinds and they are saying the same its time we all moved on from these silly blogs and silly blame games and get back to talking about the game
