Barazite deal looking unlikely as Rangers and Arsenal couldn't agree on the length of the loan. (Dutch Media)

Benalouane deal unlikely also as Juve and Seville are interested. (French Media)

Rangers still in the market for a loan signing or two. Priority is a Left sided defender and a Midfielder.

Little movement until last few days when EPL clubs are looking to ship fringe players.

I am fully aware of the interest from Newcastle and the deal will be 4m plus Alan smith that's what's coming out of Newcastle, Ian durrant went to watch benaloune from st ettiene but he didn't play, he would cost 2million, so make ure own mind up but I would accept this as a rangers fan. I like boogie but he only played 1 old firm game and 1champ league game last year due to injury international games and going AWOL. So I for 1 hope this happens!

hibs gave it a good game until the goal , them wonder weiss came on and finished it
also I would like to say lafferty waste of space and walter should leave him out of the team rather play the youth guys than him and big alan has to cool it ,
and did anyone see the way sol bamba hugged super ally after the match may be nothing but maybe expect him to be at ibrox soon ?

Rangers want to take Arsenal superkid Jack Wilshere on-loan.

The Times says Gers have approached Arsenal about taking the teenager on a season-long loan.

For the moment, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger hasn't thrown out the proposal.


I would take this rumour with a pinch of salt , as its totally founded by TribalFootball.com , which said we had signed Jelavic 2 weeks before we actually did , STILL GREAT TO BE LINKED WITH SUCH PLAYERS!

There is no way in a million years jack whilshere will be coming on loan. . it would be great if he did, but he gets regular games for arsenal so can't see him coming.

The lad is on the fringes of the England side, and has started 2/2 aresnal games. . . Why the f*ck would wenger send him to us on loan unless they are bringing in 2 or 3 world class midfielders?

Smith isn't signing anyone else that will cost money, rangers have jelavic, Beattie, miller, Naismith, lafferty, weiss, fleck, loy, who are all forwards (fleck, naisey, and lafferty can also be deployed in midfield) so why would we need goodwillie, the lad is so good that inverness caley pumped utd 4-0. That's why smith won't sing from utd as their team is full of over-rated s* te. Conway spends more time on his arse than his feet.

Rangers Rumours
Heard a rumour concerning rangers bid for jelevic. Due to the lack of football for his country, a work permit is taking longer. He technically doesn't qualify for one due to this reason however he is trying his case that it has been due to injury to see if they will do him and rangers a favour based on good will. Looking unlikely now. The SPL will loose out if it doesn't go through.
