Worthingtons, Whytes new partners, have sent a file on the Rangers takeover to the Serious fraud squad. that's the big boy's just walked into the playground now. This is a F**k up of monumental proportions. I can really see the licence going.

This is serious. never mind who were signing. or who will buy us our new toys next. This could go on on for years, possible freezing rangers

Content of the LSE announcement this evening regarding the OP.

The Company notes the announcement made on 22 April 2013 by Rangers International Football Club Plc ("RIFC") in which, contrary to other recent public announcements and statements by Mr Green and RIFC, RIFC now, five months after the publication of the Admission Document published for its flotation, claim to own Sevco 5088 Ltd.

We also note today's announcement by RIFC, and would like to confirm that solicitors, acting for the Company and Law Financial, are in a position to provide compelling evidence that Messrs Green and Ahmad received a letter before claim in December 2012, having received previous correspondence, and chose to ignore it.

In the light of recent public admissions by Mr Green, including his admission that he and Mr Ahmad deceived Mr Whyte, a fresh letter before claim is being prepared against, inter alios, The Rangers Football Club Ltd and Messrs Green and Ahmad. This letter will include additional or alternative causes of action to those already particularised in the December 2012 letter.

The shares in RIFC purportedly owned by Messrs Green and Ahmad will also be the subject of this claim.

During the course of the Company's due diligence process, relating to its purchase of a stake in Law Financial, information has been discovered relating to the conduct of Mr Charles Green and Mr Imran Ahmad, this has today been reported to the Serious Fraud Office.

This is getting more and more serious every bloody day now!

Agree2 Disagree0

There is no doubt they have a claim against Green and Ahmad's shares for a breach of trust/agreement. The assets are a non-starter because CW didn't put 5.5 million on the table nor did he query the sale wondering why he was not being asked for 5.5million. CG may be found guilty of failing to ask for the 5.5 million and cutting out CW, but that doesn't make the sale itself illegal or fraudulent.

Agree1 Disagree1

If they freeze rangers does that mean that in centuries to come they will come back like one of those hairy mammoths Calling themselves Rangers 9013 and claiming their titles 1 and counting.

Share trading will be suspended by stock exchange tomorrow morning. Serious stuff! Bomber Brown was correct & was the only man to put his neck on the block for us. He was let down by others who also knew but feathered their own nests rather than save our club. These are the people some call legends & real Rangers men! No one was duped. They ALL knew! Shamefull!!

Agree3 Disagree2

Did anyone pay D&P £5.5m for anything? I'm led to believe given all the shenanigans that D&P were being fronted by Whyte and D&P were in it with Lloyds and SDM.

Why were liquidators D&P at the boardroom table leading the Whyte buyout?

Is there a bank that will confirm under oath they transferred to oldco £5.5m to buy assets? And is there another bank willing to confirm under oath they received £5.5m on behalf of oldco? Green has changed the £5.5m figure several times even saying he paid £10m.

Agree3 Disagree0

Why have the fraud squad refused to confirm they recieved letter from law firm could this be more spoof from whyte

Agree0 Disagree1

Someone and I don't really know who - is deservedly going to go to jail over this - Its in the public interest for the crown to prosecute if so many people have been duped over the share issue.

Agree2 Disagree1

If whyte went anywhere near the fraud squad he'd get lifted! Stop believing the gutter press! AldoBear!

Agree0 Disagree2

Sorry guys - if the last 18 months haven't been bad enough, the outlook is very bleak, and appears to be getting worse. I must confess I think I've had enough - season ticket money for me & the wife is going towards a holiday this year.
And before the usual 'we can do without you brigade' (wrong word;-) ) throw their tuppence in. I'm not a glory hunter, I was there when there was only 10k turning up, have seen good, bad, brilliant, & downright bl**dy terrible, but I never felt so low about my team.
I do hope things turn round and put a smile on the Govan Rear especially, because there haven't been many this past year or so.

Agree3 Disagree0

Can things get any worse? Wel, in short yes!. It does seem that the application to join Scottish footbal as associate members omitted a connection to CW ( you will all recall that we all agreed with, indeed applauded that condition of membership) and therefore should be now made void

Agree2 Disagree0

Please calm down, the dispute is between CW and CG, nothing to do with the sale itself. Anyone who thinks CW owns the assets is not paying attention, the owner of the assets paid 5.5 million for them. CG promised CW a slice of the pie if he handed over the shares for a CVA. The CVA did not happen and CG decided to cut CW out of the deal, and now CW wants his slice out of CG's and Ahmad's slice. The liquidator doesn't care how the successful bidder pays for the assets as long as he pays the right amount.

Agree0 Disagree3

Above op YES it does/will affect rangers but on the other hand SFO have no jurisdiction in Scotland

Agree0 Disagree2

As Rangers are listed on a london stock excahnge AIM I believe that SFO do have jurisdiction and English courts don't like heritable property - money - getting taken away from rightful owners by fraudulent activities

hey guys duff and phelps have a legal question to answer and maybe court questions as this body did the work and followed procedure so if it went wrong it was them and for them to answer then well before anyone else. and for mr whyte sssssssssssshhhhhhhhh. we don't want your kind. so do one.

i had think why the hell does cw come out with these things. how many has came out with to sky sport and only to one reporter. what does he hope to gain out of this. its stupid to put us rangers fans through more pain. he will never be accepted as a true blue nose. you have no credibility in business or with blue noses. he might like his personal issues in court but keep our club out its not a pawn in your game. 3 generations of my family invested time and support in rangers and I will not walk away from my place.

Agree0 Disagree1

Is everyone missing the boat on this. Worthingtons is a company which whyte is a majority share holder. Have we to beleive this Lawyers who he more or less owns is working independantly and without his agenda, s behind it with the matter of the law the main focus. The other majority share holder behind Worthingtons is a pal of whytes and has an option to buy the Law company for 1million. He is the one who used £3 MILLION from a pension fund to invest in Rangers (whytes backer) and D&P KEPT THE MONEY. The pressure is now on him to get some of this money back. People wake up and realise its another one of whytes circus, s.

Agree0 Disagree0

CW has to prove the Sevco 5088 share deal he struck with CG for his shares in the event of a CVA also applied in the event of a liquidation, if he can't then he loses.

Its got nothing to do with CW owning assets he didn't pay for and one has to ask why CG would give him a free stake in a newco when his shares were no longer needed. But let's assume he did and he reneged on the deal, then CW can sue CG for his shares, it doesn't mean he owns Ibrox and MP.

Agree0 Disagree0

Flies round s****, more fraudsters waiting to suck the marrow out of the bones, why are rangers attracting these type of characters, more so why was there no back up for brown,,,,, Walter and ally knew!

According to today's Daily Mail, Dave King is serious about bidding for Rangers and he is not interested in merely buying Green's 8% shareholding. King's South African tax affairs have apparently been cleared up now and he is free to invest in UK companies. It would be good if Brian Kennedy would restate his interest and get involved. Time we cleared the decks and got rid of all the hangers-on and those who have tarnished our great club. I'm afraid McCoist and his cohorts must go too. As much as I love Ally, he hasn't a clue as a manager and some of his signings have been lamentable. So, some new hope on the horizon in what has been a horrendous 18 months for Bears everywhere. Fingers crossed!

Believable64 Unbelievable94

Agree about getting rid of Coisty and his unless back up but Dave King's tax affairs have not been cleared up at all so I can assure you he won't be bidding for a controlling stake in Rangers. Brian Kennedy is a more realistic suggestion.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agree with Coisty. A legend for the club. Will always be a legend. His record as a player, his actions since administration have ensured that, but he will NEVER be a manager. His tactics are terrible and I agree about the signings. Wallace, Aluko, Bocanegra and perhaps Templeton are the only ones I can think have worked. I'd get rid of Mcdowell too but keep Durrant in some role. But the most important thing is getting the ownership sorted. I'd take King any day over who knows who we have now? 8% here and 6% there, at least if he buys even 40% and has a controlling interest I can certainly trust him.

Agree0 Disagree1

King's South African tax affairs have apparently been cleared up now.

Is that what he has said, like it was said Whyte & Green were fit and proper to take over the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is true, as I'd love to see people with more than a business interest owning/running the club. Don't know if DK would pass the fit & proper test, however.
Give McCoist another season. He didn't exactly have much of a chance last Summer, did he?

Agree0 Disagree1

King himself has stated his affairs are now clear but don't take his word for it, the reporter investigating the story also said the tax authorities had come to an agreement!
Hope he does invest as over the last number of years he seams to be one of the few that used his own money!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope there is some truth in this story.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a sorry state rangers are in I wish people would just get it in to ther heads that for the next ten years or so the club will be put from pila to post and many shady characters will come through the board room as rangers is not a viable business and like it or not the fans are to blame they have swallowed every bit of bull sh"t they have been told, the only way forward is for the fans to buy the club Portsmouth is a shinning example and I was saying this last year and in the next few years I will still be saying it business has its shady men but rangers seem to attract the worst of them as this can only go as to say its an easy touch

Agree0 Disagree0

Is King not banned as a previous Director for the next few years?

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally must go he said he will not walk away please do the honest thing and go ally the team need a change

Agree0 Disagree0

King, whyte, green jesus H all we need now is bernie madoff and we will have a complete set

Ally put his money were his mouth was and invested more more money that all the fans groups put together - would you walk away from such a high investment and leave it to all the (fill in your own words here) and some of those being mentioned as future investors; just my opinion but I certainly would not!

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh my god I cannot believe you lot are even considering wanting this guy anywhere near your club. Is it not enough what has happened over the last few years that you now want someone wo has been involved in serious taxation issues taking over, isn't that why you were liquidated in the first place. The original post says clear the decks, get rid of all the old people who were involved. that includes King. He was ther and was aprty to all that went on under Minty and you still want him back. kind of like the Celtic fans wanting the Kelly's to get involved in the club again. This is YOUR club not theirs, sure they have money but that's it, YOU GUYS ARE THE CLUB and the sooner you realise that and start galvanising yourselves the better. Forget all your supporters groups, they are all in it for themselves, you need to come together as RANGERS FANS, the same way Celtic did 20 years ago. Take your club back, vote with your feet, drive these people out becasue without you they have nothing. Brain Kennedy is a rugby fan and a hibs supporter nto a Rangers fan, he wanted Ibrox so he could play Rugby there and sell the Glasgow ground, a businessman who saw a profit for little investment. This is your time and if it all goes wrong and you disappear for good this time then you will all say I wish I had.

Agree0 Disagree0

The last post is very well written and is 100% accurate in his assessment. Clearly not a rangers fan writing it which is why it is so good. We need to open our eyes fellow bears. This is d day. A season or 2 extra in the Lower leagues won't be bad in the long run if we get rid of these people who are killing our club. Come on guys, we have to start voting with our feet. It is the only way. Brizo

The guy who wrote the big post, well written and honest, I think, but dave king is a big gers fan, always has been, he was duped by sdm and did indeed put 20milll into the club, no, one else did, he is a man I would like to see in some capacity, at our club, his heart, as far as I know is at ibrox, why else would he even bother being interested, he has enuf cash doesn't he?, a self made glasgow millionaire coming back to make more cash from our club? I don't think he is?

Agree0 Disagree0

Check out what kennedy done to stockport county. just been relegated out of the conference and pay 80% of their income to rent their ground. by the way for those who may still harbour dreams of going to england, there are 9 levels below the premier league. stockport will play in level 6 next year. clubs like stockport won't stand aside and be queue jumped even if the rukes were changed by uefa.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope? Really?
Why would anyone want someone like King to take over?
All these guys had a chance to step up last summer but instead they watched us suffer and did NOTHING.
No board memeber of the previous regime should be allowed back at Ibrox.
All you clowns on here just want a cash injection and back to the big spending days.
We had the perfect opportunity to start a fresh approach to Scottish football by concentrating on youth. Yes, it would be a slow process but worth it in the end.
What do you want instead, £10 spunked on more s**** signings from Ally to win the 2nd Division? pah.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wrote the post a couple up saying that you need to come together as a unit to take back your club. Now is the time when the board of the club will start to play on your heart strings about needing the money to take the club forward, investing in the future of your club, be part of the family. they all say the same things. Now, it is pretty obvious form reading the posts on here that you guys are passionate about your club and are willing to do anything to stop this slide into oblivion. Here is your chance. This is the time to make your demands on the club, as a collective, not a mob outside the stadium screaming for heads to roll, not banners all over the stadium instead leave the seats empty. Nothing talks better than the smell of money. This club you love so dearly wouldn't let you in if you were £1 short, neither would mine either but if I withheld my £400 and so did 50% of my fellow supporters then that would get the clubs attention. The deafening silence form the people you trust is worrying. Why hasn't Walter come out and stood on the doors of the stadium and said, right, we are FECKED OR RIGHT, THIS IS WHERE WE ARE AND NOW WE TAKE OUR CLUB BACK. I personally don't think he should be anywhere near the club as he along with Ally were there all through this and said nothing. Where was Walter when you needed him then. Now is the time maybe for someone to come out of the woodwork who is a Rangers fan, he may not have billions in the bank but you guys have shown you are willing to support the right man. He must be squeaky clean, he must be known to all the Rangers fans and he must disclose who he has with him and why. This is what Fergus McCann did for Celtic and even then we had a few years of every little BUT he was honest and he ran the club the right way. One chance to make a change, that's what this is boiling down to guys and what happens next is down to you because once the club has your money your opinion is worthless. Good luck and I hope to be there to see an Old Firm game in the top league in a few years. Allymac.
