Heard a rumour that we're interested in trying to get AIK midfielder Ebenezer Ofori in on a pre contract agreement

25 Jan 2017 00:12:33
Don't know about that, but so are Hamburg, West Ham, Borussia Dortmund and LA Galaxy among others.

25 Jan 2017 06:56:05
Ebenezer? Q the jokes from the mhanky mhob

25 Jan 2017 10:15:10
Would we tiny tims do that.

25 Jan 2017 11:29:04
Who the Dickens comes up with these rumours?

25 Jan 2017 12:44:16
Brilliant! lol

25 Jan 2017 15:22:34
This is Oliver the Pickwick Papers!
Doubt it though as we are in Hard Times but some of us still have Great Expectations.

25 Jan 2017 12:59:51
lmao that's a belter bhampot actually laughed there!

25 Jan 2017 21:06:38
Just getting in there before you Bham👍

25 Jan 2017 23:16:34
Couldnt get my Quill into the Inkwell fast enough Ascot12 😁. Bah

24 Jan 2017 19:53:09
Louis moult to Rangers with loan of ohallaron other direction.

24 Jan 2017 20:09:07
Hope not he's not going g to improve us

24 Jan 2017 20:23:40
Just Great

Really useful acquisition for later stages of the cup - not!

Lost O'Hallaron last year in cup!

24 Jan 2017 21:54:21
Cup tied, would not be able to play in cup.

24 Jan 2017 22:49:26
He's a goal scorer different from what we have. Goal every 2 games for Motherwell. Help get 2nd in the league. Cheap too. Hopefully keep ohallaran.

24 Jan 2017 22:42:29
He would definitely improve us he's scared goals at this level where's wags and garner have not case and point

24 Jan 2017 23:42:22
Disagree with you totally mikeger! Louis moult without question imo, would improve us in the striker department my friend! He's a really good striker with a good return in the goals per game ratio department! Would score even more with us! See all this total crap he's not good enough etc! How do you know? An example, although a different type of striker. When celtic signed leigh griffiths, there were many sceptical celtic supporters who said he wasn't good enough for them! How many of them would say that now? Probably none! You've got to give any player a chance before mouthing off, 'he's not got it, or not good enough'etc.

25 Jan 2017 00:45:08
we will not be signing any attackers this window and moult is to similar to garner and Warburton ain't going bring another attacker in to replace him. we need a finisher with a bit pace and mobility and that should be Cummings. he is better than moult and would turn out to be great addition to our team. moult is no better than what we have.

25 Jan 2017 09:33:15
Moult is proven in this league Craig where as Cummings hasn't really been tested at this level yet but it's not to say he couldn't do it, i just think at this moment in time moult would be a great signing for us

25 Jan 2017 12:39:46
Stevie may might be a good signing for us but I would worry about his injury history he's had a couple of bad ones and we don't need anymore on the treatment table.

25 Jan 2017 12:06:14
Craig8688! You say moult Is very similar to joe garner. Isn't jason cummings very similar to martyn waghorn? I do! You also say cummings is better than moult, totally disagree as cummings has been scoring for hibs in the championship, whereas moult is scoring regularly for motherwell in the premiership, big difference as you should know! Cummings has it all to prove if hibs do get promoted! It would be moult over cummings EVERY day of the week for me! At this moment in time, moult is without question the better of the 2 strikers!

25 Jan 2017 12:59:39
Gr rfc are you this boy moults agent lol u asked us the previous night what we thought of him on the other section then u make a swap deal up yourself with you been the only source of the rumour lol lol not saying I wouldn't want him at ibrox for a minute but you come on ask us of our thoughts then state moh going to well on loan and us to get moult not believable for a minute we have no money to spend so that's not going to happen

25 Jan 2017 13:01:56
whats waghorn got something like 38 goals in 53 appearances and 13 assists something like that anyways I think he should be brought back into the fold and played in the garner position as when he is played out wide he doesn't make an impact and the guy knows where the goal is

25 Jan 2017 17:01:49
Warbs has rotated all the forwards to find his best strik force moult is a target man just what we need

24 Jan 2017 11:44:32
This rumour has already been circulating the forums however, I have been party to various conversations (whether you believe it or not) that Red Bull GmbH have indicated they are willing to invest in Rangers. This includes potential stadium naming rights. There are discussions with regards to the exact shareholding percentage that would enable them to circumnavigate UEFA rules regarding dual ownership. Dave King has sounded out various would be investors about selling his stake in Rangers. He has been using a London based firm to look for interested parties that has been holding meetings in a prestigious hotel very close to St Pancreas Station.

{Ed001's Note - why would they need to hold discussions about the percentage required when they already know it? They are owners of two Red Bull branded teams, one in Austria and one in Germany already. Pretty sure they have one in Switzerland as well, but that is off the top of my head so I could be wrong on that one.}

24 Jan 2017 12:25:14
I have heard this too. Heard Red Bull will invest 20million this summer and use rangers as a feeder team for Leipzig. My mates uncle works with Oliver Burkes Dad and he's being lined up for a loan move next summer along with Davie Selke

24 Jan 2017 12:44:47
Sounds like a great idea. Rename the team and stadium and become a feeder club for Leipzig, brilliant.

24 Jan 2017 14:01:10
"My mates uncle works with Oliver Burkes dad" absolute classic! I find this even funnier because I genuinely know his family.

24 Jan 2017 14:01:55
well its a lot a if buts and maybes,

someone explaain what 20 million would actually do for us? no all that much, i know its money but we should be building from bottom up not taking hand outs and being a charity case,

also, RB own a fair amount of teams, if we make europe then us and RB Leizpig can't both be in the CL, what if RB Salbureg occupy the uefa place?

We are onto plumbs, also when ye consider brand management NTL n tennents had sposersed us both as they know the other half won't buy the product, where else paints pavements blue white and red :D

a say we stop dreaming and focus on the team we have at hand Kings doing his best we would be doon the swany if it wasnt for him.

24 Jan 2017 14:09:42
DK has his dream job so I cannot see him readily walking away from Ibrox. We need a nomad and we need it urgently. We are operating financially with one hand tied behind our back. We require major investment in both the short and long term. Easier said than done.

24 Jan 2017 15:13:28
Like it or not our club is going to be feeder club for bigger clubs buying our young promising players so if we could get redbull on board it would be a bonus to us as for naming rights etc we all no the stadium as ibrox and it always will be called that regardless if they change the name.

I just can't see David king walking away unless the job of rebuilding the club is to big for him and he hasn't got the funds and is fed up with Ashley court cases and doesn't want to spend what money he has on fighting threw courts.

24 Jan 2017 15:33:51
king won't sell quite simply ecause he would make a loss on his investment because no one would pay top dollar while still fighting with ashley

24 Jan 2017 15:55:47
BlueBloodGerz We would go down the swanny without King?

This is the guy who was on the board while we went down the double swanny of administration and liquidation without raising a peep.

And voted against the CVA.

24 Jan 2017 17:06:03
On paper Red Bull would be a great partner for Rangers. However, in order for a company to invest- we need to be " investible". With Ashley and the (W) easeldales p*****ng in the bovril at every opportunity - who would want to walk into that. Only way would be for RB to buy out (W) easel bloc shares and also buy our SD retail contract. plus investment in the team. possibly looking a close to £75m - £100m. never going to happen.

24 Jan 2017 20:12:44
aye just seen the red bull mini outside ibrox giving out free cans of red bull must be true 🤔🤔

24 Jan 2017 21:56:19
I hope it's true we need investment as soon as clearly there's no funds

25 Jan 2017 13:04:02
rename the stadium and let them invest in that way and maybe a small investment into the club so we can buy 1 or 2 players.
