Warbs to make Weiss a Rangers player again after his agent got in contact stating his desire to be a part of the Rangers revolution. Weiss would have came earlier if it was not for the fact him and Ally did not get on.

Believable6 Unbelievable20

{Ed039's Note - What a load of bull .......... he is on a fortune in Qatar)

24 Jun 2015 19:44:47
Apparently some fan tweeted Weiss and managed to get a reply saying he would love to come back to Ibrox, but not yet! As Ed says he is on a fortune where he is. You might see his agent touting him for a return when he's old and knackered and looking for a boost to his pension fund. To be honest I didn't think he was that good a player anyway

Agree0 Disagree2

24 Jun 2015 19:46:27
Come on Ed, we all know that he's a Rangers fan now, and I don't know if any players who are fans would put money above their beloved Ranges.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - I dont think he loves Rangers that much to drop £20-£30k per week in a country with great tax benefits to come sign for us)

24 Jun 2015 20:26:53
Absolute bollocks!! No need to make news up because its a quiet day!

CastleBear

Ahem does one Ally McCoist not spring to mind, and there is loads of Rangers fan players who joined and left for the money and the money only!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 21:57:48
Let's be realistic, vlad wiess has an affiliation with the club and keeps up to date with goings on at ibrox but he was only with us for a season. He would not take the drop in wages.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 21:13:12
That last coment of mine was meant as a dig to Ally and the rest, I did put four full stops after to make that a bit clearer but this was edited by ed before putting it up.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 07:32:32
According to wpedia he is on 300000 euros. I somehow don't think this is per annum which would equate to around £4000 per week tax free.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 08:13:00
jfr

Assuming a typo £ 30,000 is £ 20k+ even at low rate
£ 3000000 is £ 210k

so I reckon he is on £ 20k BUT probably tax free = £ 30k per week

sorry to sound like a school teacher.

Weiss was asked in Twitterif he was coming back and his reply was "not yet"

Rangers are targeting at a lot of scots based in championship&League 1 in england and most of warburtons moves will be from these leagues,, but as for allan and may, they will be the big money signs(YeCouldSay) so I've heard anyways

Believable5 Unbelievable8

24 Jun 2015 19:48:43
Dont want Allan at all never mind for "big money"

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 20:29:15
Honestly think the boy Lewis Milne at cowdenbeath with the correct coaching could be just as good if bot better than allen

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 21:25:43
Personally don't think we'll get Allen, but here's hoping we get a decent ball playing CM or 2

24 Jun 2015 16:38:49
Read into this what you will but my mate stays round the corner from Nicky law in Stepps and his house is for sale?

Believable4 Unbelievable7

24 Jun 2015 18:40:59
I know he defos stays in stepps so I actually believe this. However his brother was living with him and got married few weeks back so it could just be something to do with that. Just guessing.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:44:54
He's moving house like we all do! It a normal thing to do!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 19:30:24
Has he got a woman? They're never happy so that would explain it!

Would be glad to see the back of Mr. Brady. Only the old and decrepit will get the reference to the lead character in the old invisible man tv series!

Scott Allan will NOT be joining Rangers as he is not for sale says Alan Stubbs

24 Jun 2015 17:11:53
Money talks.

24 Jun 2015 17:17:39
Everyone is for sale. Especially if they only have one year left on their deal and want to leave.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 17:57:09
He wouldn't be the first manager to be unaware of deals being done behind his back

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:14:57
No biggy he's decent but no point wasting time chasing him while other targets pass us bye!, I wouldn't mind the boy Lewis milne at cowdenbeath he's under the radar but he's a decent midfielder and with the correct coaching could be an excellent addition to the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:26:27
I think its good odds he will,,,,bit surprised stubbs said that,,,,heard the other day he'd taken hibs off his twitter kak,,i think the boys certainly off somewhere different class last season standout on pitch, just the type of player we needed might I add,,,be very surprised if he's still at hibs start of season.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:31:30
He needs to add pace to the team too

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 19:36:58
I think Allan would be a key signing for us. Would be a battle to get him but, as some guys have said, money talks. And with him entering the last year of his contract Leeane Demister will not want him to go for nowt. The only fly in the ointment would be Celtic getting involved and pushing the price up. If we can afford him I think he would make such a difference to the team. Pity Ally let him slip through his fingers in the first place

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 21:39:00
He didn't say that. If you're talking about the tv interview today. He said as far as he knows he'll be at pre season training tomorrow and that no offers had been made.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 22:14:50
Agree Noddy it is a pity Ally didn't take a risk on him but remember Hibs have got to sell season tickets too. In spite of the Hibee who comes on here Gardner I think it is (unless he is really Ally)and claims they wouldn't really miss him I think a straw poll of Hibs fans would confirm him as about their best player.
I also think he will be the biggest fee paid for ages and will end up at Ibrox because we need a midfield and he would be a good starter for ten.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 00:37:35
Mannering.
I think Gardner is deluding himself if he thinks his club will not miss him. Allan was quite clearly their best player last season and him moving, especially to us, would seriously damage Hibs' chances as well as their morale. I also liked the boy Cummings but from what I hear about him, he has some off field issues. Might be more trouble than he's worth

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 11:41:58
gardner here guys what I said was 1 player doesn't make a team yes he's a great player but we have a better one in Aiden Nesbit just waiting to step in think one off your bears said he was world class he's far from that. From what i'm being told from E.R he's going no where this season and Stubbs would refer to lose him for free after his year contract is up but if the rumours are true that rangers are going to put in a bid for £1m that may change we will have to wait and see guys but if I was at hibs I would be doubtful that rangers could afford that out right.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 21:51:55
Aye fair play to you Gardner. Cannot see Rangers paying a £1million for anyone especially a supporter they could have snapped up for nothing a year ago but for the genius that was Ally. Will look out for Nesbit this year. Like Noddy I also like the lad Cummings- speedy with a bit of strength and attitude about him. Have you forgiven him yet for some of the misses in the playoffs?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 16:19:53
looks like vukic will be heading to bournmouth seemingly they are in pole position for his signature think he would be out of our price range anyway so probably best forget him.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

24 Jun 2015 17:13:38
Too inconsistent for me anyway.

24 Jun 2015 19:31:52
Yeah, not too fussed!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 20:28:55
Decent player at best. Far better players within our grasp.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 22:19:56
Totally agree with the comments above! He did score big goals for us at important times but he seemed to go missing during the playoff games most of all against Motherwell! He has a cracking left foot but I think he became a bit predictable and his lack of pace was obvious! Definitely better out there

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 15:41:31
Just read scott Allan is set to snub the gets and stay at hibs for this season, certainly hope not

He is ok but I am not seeing why he is top of so many wish lists

Hes realy not that great there is better out there.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:11:13
Who cares?? Plenty more fish in the sea he's a decent player but he's no world beater!

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 19:20:25
I understand he isn't the finished article, but MW is looking for hungry, talented young players, I've yet to see players that fit this bill within our price range

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 22:29:31
I don't get why a player who clearly wants to be at rangers would snub us?? I'm not saying he will end up playing for us next season but it won't be Scott Allan rejecting the move! Anyway, I don't get why everyone is going daft about him! Had one good season at utd, went down the road couldn't cut it at a club like WBA and then has one good season in a decent hibs side and he's a player we must sign? Yes he's a decent young player but I've also heard he's a bit of a problem of the park! Do we really need to be putting all our faith in him?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 14:53:27
Alan Stubbs has been speaking to the media at Easter Road and it's no surprise that their outstanding playmaker was on the agenda. There has been a lot of chatter on social media today and talk of him having a medical at Ibrox tomorrow. Rangers would need to make a bid first and, according to the Hibs manager, they have received no bids for the 23-year-old. He has also said that Hibs are in "a very strong position", with Allan still under contract.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

24 Jun 2015 16:21:47
Stubbs is a clown a strong position the lad has a year left so could sign a pre contract with any club in January

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - actually he could only sign a precontract in January with any club outside of the Scottish FA in January.}

24 Jun 2015 18:00:12
If and when we make a bid it will all change but we may have to spend 800,000 -1 Million to get our man. The fact he isn't signing a new deal and can sign a pre contract in January means the player is holding all the aces. He won't come out and say he wants to sign for us rangers as he respect the fact Hibs took a chance on him and made him a better player. But his agent has been instructed to see what clubs are interested in signing him. And who would have told him to do that.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - He can sign for clubs outside his own association from January, you can not sign a pre contract for a club within your own association in January without your club giving permission to the club wanting to sign the player to talk to them until later in the process, either May or June)

24 Jun 2015 20:38:14
This is true for the english league, but are you sure it is the same for us ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Yes)

Hearing that a young lad Chris Long is coming on a season long loan from Everton. Worked with Warburton at Brentford last season. He is fast and comfortable with the ball at his feet. Seems to fit the remitt of where Rangers are going.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

24 Jun 2015 16:54:32
I can't see everton sending him to the Scottish championship for experience when he has played at a higher level. Would be a great signing though

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 12:40:40
Heard a rumour that Rangers are currently considering James Tavernier to fill the right-back positon.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

24 Jun 2015 13:08:37
Mcgregor will be rb mate so unless its backup it will be a waste of money spent .

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 13:18:00
Solid right back apparantly and young so would definitely be a decent signing although I haven't seen him play.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 14:21:15
Lets be honest though are rangers going to bench our best player from last season? can't see it and would think it would be realy harsh to the player himself .

Agree1 Disagree1

24 Jun 2015 14:32:45
McGregor is gone mate! Out of contract!

24 Jun 2015 14:48:35
Eezyeez

No he is not. Bull

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 15:51:41
He is not gone lol lile how people just make things up on there heads lol think you mean Forster is gone? Lol

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 16:26:49
Easy mistake to make not a lot between Foster and McGregor on the field. Only diff seemed to be McGregor didn't look as lost as Foster but best player from last season?????

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 17:28:19
Player of the season mate

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 22:08:32
I thought McGregor looked better at RB than he did in the middle and think he would of stayed there if it wasn't for big jig needing dropped! The only thing that worries me is he isn't the quickest and if we're going to be playing with wing backs next season he might get caught out! Our best player last season by a country mile but

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 23:10:36
McGregor was our player of the year playing at CB not RB. I understand that McGregor ca play at RB but that doesn't mean we won't be brining in aother defender for that positon. I'd be very surprised if we didn't sign a RB.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jun 2015 10:15:53
McGregor signed a 1 year deal last year and has not been offered a new one! Do the maths u donuts

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 10:27:04
Rangers are looking at Watford goalkeeper jonathen bond I think that would be a great signing for us

Believable5 Unbelievable4

24 Jun 2015 12:15:09
I can't find any info on bond after 2013. Has he played any games in the last two years? What makes you think this would be a great signing downie?

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 12:43:01
Bell wasn't the problem last season. It was the lads in front of him.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 13:32:08
Bleuranger I couldent disagree anymore with you saying bell wasent at fault .The whole team were at fault there was a number of times that bell looked as if he had never played in goals before and didn't know how to deal with simple shots. Its all easy to blame the defence but if the midfeild where keeping position and able to play you wouldent need to constantly get help from defence and if we were scoring more goals than conceding then we wouldn't be having this conversation .All i'm saying is we need an experienced / good player in the whole spine of team that's gk,cb,cm,st.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 16:52:46
He hasn't played a league game since 2013. Think almunia and gomez are ahead of him in the pecking order due to experience. But he has played cup games. Watford fans say he is a decent keeper. And we need competition for each position. All three keepers got used last year so we need to bring somebody in

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jun 2015 18:44:55
ye bells a good keeper ,,lost a bit of confidence after injury,,plus last season didnae help I'm sure, saying that we do need back up

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - He is an awful goalkeeper, his foot work is terrible)
