Saw this aswell. If as i'm reading he's out of contract with villa and he's prepared to take a wage drop having experience in pl and international football can't be a bad thing surely?

The villa fans twitter feed said yesterday that hutton has agreed a move to a Scottish team "probably Rangers"

Warbs has stated he wants all of his permanent signings in place before the squad comes back for pre season. So at least whether this is rumour or not were getting in early regarding potential signings.

One of my pals knows Hutton well. Seems to think that villa will cancel his contract and that he himself wants away from the doom and gloom. Reckons he would take a big cut in wages to come back.
You have to remember that he never wanted to leave, he wanted bro reject spurs but was told by club that they desperately needed the cash. He described it as being emotionally blackmailed.
He doesn't think that club want him back though- as good a player as he is we have other positions that need filled.

He's a poor footballer that performs well once in fifty games anyway! Lacks a footballing mind, any real technical ability and his defensive positioning is diabolical for such an experienced player. Biggest result we ever got getting 9 mil for him! There must be hundreds of younger, cheaper and better alternatives.
