Heard a rumour from a friend who has a friend who works for the Daily Star that Ashley could be ready to bail out, ie sell his shares and sever all ties including retail deal.I for one don't believe it for a minute, Ashley too greedy and pigheaded to even contemplate it but wouldn't it be great if it was true? No matter how well team is doing Ashley still has to be dealt with one way or another if we are to get back where we belong, he is a dark cloud hanging over Ibrox.

i think possibly he does not want some of his and his cronies misdemanours going to court

Op I would love it to be true, but like bigwull says if this was true it would be because Ashley wants out before all becomes know,as Ashley knows his moves are not legal imho

Is that one of our aces BIGWULL this man would sell his granny for money,If his sidekick did get took to court what would they be charged with??? remember WULL we had a NOMAD so all is out in the open otherwise the Nomad would be charged before the board member

Agree it would be nice abd maybe to avoid it getting messy walk with the £8millish n no offence to your pal but the stars not known for accurate football gossip

MULLAD

One of the charges might be misleading the Nomad who probably would have a caveat that their work is based on the information provided by the board. Normal boards would not 'hide' info.
The person I would like to see squeal is Summers, the supposed respectable business face of the business

Deb I wouldn't like to hear him squeal,IDE like to make him squeal, lol

This would seem highly unlikely. I understand that Ashley, despite the sound business reasons for renegotiating and the advice of his advisors, will not do so as it's just not in his pigheaded and "I couldn't give a damn" nature. This makes me wonder why we haven't served the 7 year notice - why not?

26 Aug 2015 20:53:21
Blue av I think if the 7 year notice has not been handed in its because somebody must see a flaw in it,maybe Dave kings hoping to get the whole contract dropped,

After McGregor leaving MW confirms others will follow. These believed to be templeton and shiels to be released and aird, crawford, and murdoch out on loan. Zaliukas won't b leaving unfortunately.

25 Aug 2015 17:11:19

25 Aug 2015 19:23:46
If these players were to leve dose that mean more singing comeing in for cover as we are still short at the back for cover and I would say we need at least one striker but still fell the squad could do with at least 2 more wing back for cover and a holding midfielder and a striker

Agree0 Disagree2

25 Aug 2015 20:31:25
Was meant to be English league 1

McGregor looks set to sign for hibs!

25 Aug 2015 12:05:32
I'm not sure letting our player of season last year leave on a free to our biggest rivals is the smartest of moves. Especially considering their stance on us.

Surely we could have made part of the mutual consent that he could not sign for hibs, or we could have demanded a small fee at very least.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Aug 2015 12:28:39
Well he is now signed just think he wanted to go to hibs

25 Aug 2015 13:50:57
What's there to be 'positive' about here? He was our stand out player last season and will strengthen our direct rivals. Only an idiot would be 'positive' about that.

Can understand McGregor wanting to go as he appeared to be not wanted. Us letting him go to them for free is madness.

Luigi your the wrong person to speak about positivity u never have a good word to say. This season is different from last and the new manager obviously doesn't rate him as highly as he was last season. But really if u release a player because u think he's not good enough what right do u have to say he can't sign for someone?

Good luck to him. He's 30 years old and has chosen to likely take a wage cut and get some playing time rather than sit and leech wages.

Let him do what he wants. Good luck to him. Decent of MW doing the right thing rather than letting him rot.

We have done the right thing by McGregor, all the best to him. Good to see us acting professionally and respectfully, and not stooping to the levels of others.
