Radio reporting in the wake of the ashley deal that a senior source at Ibrox has told them that Rangers we're 48 hours from administration and that administrators had been contacted.

Don't believe it probably to make it look like Ashleys our saviour

I was wondering who would be the first to reject this snippet of news based on the fact that the BBC reported it and it doesn't fit in with what they want to believe.

If its true why was king and Kennedys money not good enough the senior source who reported it is probably easdale we are not daft and had enough

If this was true why not accept investment from king, Murray and let ham rather than borrow money when the club was 48hrs from admin and why would Ashley be so desperate to loan money to a club on the brink of administration if they maybe unable to pay back that loan.
If you think people would disagree with the story on the back of it coming from the bbc or that it doesn't fit in with what they believe then you obviously haven't looked at the facts unlike the majority of people on here who have been warning you about Ashley, the weaseldales, green, whyte etc for the last 3 years

@jhd, it's a bit naive to think that there are not other reasons why they didn't accept money from King or Kennedy. Ashley is probably in cahoots with the current board. King and Kennedy would probably want to upset the apple cart.

@northger, if you want your posts to be taken seriously by me, quit using stupid playground names for people you don't like.

Sorry STYAB,

Predictive text can be so helpful sometimes and also so accurate. Is it james or sandy I'm speaking to by the way.

I would take you more seriously if you actually had anything sensible to say.

More poison fed to the press by toxic Jack Irvine. I sent back my season ticket today with a covering letter simply saying "not fit for purpose" This is no longer the Rangers I have supported for 35 years, this is a tribute run by scammers and fraudsters. I won't be back until Easedales gone.

Norther and nothinbuthestruth we'll in to both posts

A few points here fellow bears:
Mike Ashley has shown the colour of his money - other people Dave King etc did not ! Mike Ashley has now effectively made himself responsible for Rangers FC -Our club will not go into Administration now whether we as the fan base like or support Mike Ashley as h it would not be in his interests to allow it - Unlike the other shysters we have had he has the financial ability to prevent another disastrous period at the club - I am a season ticket holder who didn't stay away, what does staying away achieve - absolutely nothing, we now collectively have to get behind Mike Ashley and hopefully he takes our great club forward - Looking at it from a head not heart scenario I think this is what we needed - other so called fans have had numerous chances to show the colour of their money but have failed miserably to do so - Mike Ashley has waited to pounce at the right moment, that fellow bears is what hugely succesful businessmen do who actually have the cash they are supposed to. I also feel the departure of Wallace and Nash will be no loss to us. Heres hoping we are finally on the way to a sound future.

Greg202. what cloud have you been hiding in? If you believe MA is going to take our club forward?
He is a money man a "making "money man. not a losing one. Rangers have a huge fan base and as such MA like he did at Newcastle will always be happy making millions from the merchandise side of the club. He will not and has a proven record on this, bankroll our club in anyway. WE will make him money not the other way round. yet again some of our support think we "have a sugar dad" in place who loves us greatly. That is not the case with MA he only likes,,,,, himself.

Ally, I don't think for one minute Mike Ashley is a sugar dad, I am not that stupid, but he is a highly succesful legitimate businessman who obviously sees an opportunity for himself, of course why not, but he doesn't need to skim or scam money from our club like the other shysters who have been hovering - he will invest with other shareholders to get the club on a sound footing and back to where we belong and then he can make more money! otherwise he would have no need to invest - he's not particularly short of cash like previous w*****s who needed to raid the club as they had no other visible source of income

Well ED let's take into account the 7 signings Newcastle made in August - who funded that - yes whether you like it or not it was Ashley, also the scouting system he has funded at NUFC, brought in young players for small money the sold them 2 or 3 seasons later for big money, that's business, I think Ashley is not bad news - give it some time and if I am wrong you are all welcome to lambast me from the highest buildings in London - until I am proved wrong just think of the 48 hours we were away from Administration, and don't come back and bore me about Brian Kennedy et al who always seem to be there at the last moment but produce nothing - why don't they step forward if they are serious players in the weeks leading up to this latest fiasco ! while i am on here Paul Murray and Dave King were on the previous board which failed miserably, that's why Ashley did not even talk to them - let us be thankful bears that we have secured funding and hope for the best, and by the way just think about every c****c s**t kit that Sports Direct sell its potentially going into our coffers ha ha !

Right ED i will reply one last time, remember we are talking about business here, so NUFC the club funded the scouting system and the signings - who funds the club, doh! THE OWNER and do not accuse me of lying - NUFC are in a far superior position now than with any of the previous owners financially - we shall see what happens within the next few months, I at least am trying to be upbeat about it and not another doom and gloom everyone is trying to shaft us merchant ! The Blue Knights, Kennedy, Murray etc all had numerous chances and did SFA - positivity is now called for and unity - with that I've had my say many thanks to you all - look forward to the coming 90 days changes are afoot and for the better
