As i said earlier guys supposedly its a done deal its now appearing on twitter if you ignore the other stuff, supposedly guy called culshaw and gmac coming in aswell, the culshaw info came from a liverpool fan who is close to rossiter supposedly.
I heard about gerrard but the culshaw who os a coach i'm not sure which coach and gmac done is new to me.

Heard the exact same StmonkeyRFC! Hearing the announcement will be made on monday or tuesday that our new management team will be steven gerrard (manager/ head coach),
gary mcallister (assistant manager/
assistant head coach) and tommy culshaw (first team coach)!

Supercooper, even if the Gerrard thing falls through at least King is trying his best! He would be a fantastic Manager for us as he was a player with great attitude and let’s hope it happens mate and if not we move on🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Asking someone to be manager, doesn't mean he'll sign. McInnes? He was definitely going to be manager. Remember the media, online? We've got 4 important games coming up, c*ltic on Sunday. King maybe doesn't need stunts for us to buy season tickets. He should be held accountable for the pretty p*ss poor we've had this season on and off the park. Pedro, McInnes, murty, more soft loans, court cases, overdrafts that turn out to be loans. Some say we can't blame dodgy Dave for things on the park. He was the one who came out with the weird statement about murty just before old firm game.

Rumours in old Hamilton town this evening: Gerrard has been discussing things with Allen and was quite excited at the prospect of 'turning Rangers round'. Then he met King a couple of times and was shocked at the poor finances on offer to do the job, although, according to one director, he did not reject the notion. Now he has to weigh it up - is it a stepping stone to the Anfield hot seat or could it be the entrance to the managerial abyss? Put simply he's gone from hot to lukewarm in a week. Our problem is, if he now rejects us, every other candidate will know they weren't first choice which will see the better ones vanish off the radar.

If you actually read it properly, its Sky Sports pundit Alan Smith saying that SG is unlikely to take the job. So that's not exactly solid gold news is it?

People need to stop being so negative with every name mentioned and actually get behind who ever gets the job.

When the heat is on I doubt Gerrard could handle it IF this rumour has truth in it then it's purely about selling season tickets

I also read an artical about a man named lynch he says he met Gerrard and told that Gerrard has a photo framed Celtic top look it up if you want that worries me

I agree that we need a new manager however i feel that the timing of all this talk about replacing murty is shocking it clearly shows that the board are only interested in getting our season ticket renewal money. Imo all this talk of new players manager etc should have not been leaked until we have secured second spot.

What must murty and players be thinking going into the last 4 games. They must be feeling totally let down and as a result there is now a higher risk that we could end up finish 4th and relying in the unclean winning the cup to secure our European slot giving that mobs support more opportunities to give it 2 our fans. Not a happy bear guys bring on the disagrees guys.

Well in my opinion maybe it would do them good to know that they are being watched by a new manager and could be playing for their future, could make them put a bit more effort in!

Can only be a good thing. These players need to know they must leave nothing on the park (unless it is a boot print on thumb or peanut heid) and that they are playing for the right to be in the squad next season. I can accept lack of ability but I'll never accept lack of effort

It is right and proper that we consider our manager for next season as Murty is only contracted to Summer. Murty may be in the mix as well! Would you rather the board sat on their hands and rushed things later on?

I get all of your opinions re it may give players a kick up the butt to up their game however if you look through the history book of similar situations the vast majority of times the teams involved takes a dip in form. Ps i truly hope i'm wrong.

On stevie g, i feel this move is going to be a massive gamble as he is inexperienced and has some mess to sort out poss having to ship out at least 10 players and replace them with a better quality.
One off my biggest concerns is that we start taking lesser offers for players in order to get them out the door.

We will need to give whoever gets the job time as such a massive turn around in playing staff will result in inconsistency till the manager gets his settled team and beds in the new players.
