Normally when in training games they would all be in training gear with one team wearing bibs, in the video the tops have numbers and large sponsor across the front. The training tips all have small sponsor under the badge

They were training kits, as seen in the YouTube video the team were playing an 11v11 game to work on tactical formations etc.

Its all to do with marketing, I think a lot of the top clubs have various training kits, the fans buy them and the club makes a few more quid,
The new kits for next season will be announced with a fanfare, the club will want to make a positive marketing opportunity to maximise sales,

I’d sell 2 goalies behind Pumper and promote McCroris. Possibly bring in an old hand from somewhere. It’s tolime to up our game.

Think some on here forget how well Fods played last year. So no Coldo it doesn't answer my question. We need competition for places so why would we get rid of one of our best players. Granted if a mental bid came in it would be looked at but as things stand he's going nowhere. I really have to laugh at some on here calling him deadwood! If it wasn't for him we would have finished 4th or 5th last season.

Foderingham is not a great keeper Colster. He loses far too many goals from distance, flaps at crosses, doesn't command his area, dodgy with kick outs and slow to get the ball out. McGregor is a proven keeper and Hull's player of the season last season. Wes won't and shouldn't get a look in now. Yes we had a poor defence last season but our goals against ratio was horrendous. Not the sign of a great keeper. Don't get the love in with Foderingham but each to their own I suppose.

Difficult to see why McGregor won't be our first choice keeper next season. That raises the question whether Foderingham is happy to be on the bench. If he isn't is there any real likelihood that we can get serious money for him?

I'm certainly not forgetting how fod played. He played to the best of his ability a very good shot stopper with good reflexes. A constant failure to command his area and deal with crosses and beaten from distance consistently. He's done a decent job but he's not at the level required.

I agree that shagger will more than likely be 1st choice and mcrorie obviously plying his trade, with Fod I still think we need to keep him even for the simple reason that shagger is what 36 so your not going to get a lot of years out of him, fair enough if you get a better keeper in to replace Fod but then surely that keeper would be looking at the number 1 jersey, I don't know I am just thinking that if shagger gets injured Fod would be a pretty decent sub to bring on.

I don't know if he's a problem child but he's nowhere near as good as he was made out to be when he first broke through. He also has a shocking injury record which has possibly played a part in hurting his progress

his wages aren’t 50k to 70k because he’s a free agent now, premier league clubs won’t touch him as he refused to play. The offers on the table are from mls, at 27years of age what better place to come for a year, get fit and prove doubters wrong in the premiership and earn himself a move and us some money, nk doubt he would get a share of that fee. The amount of people who just shut I down on this site is scandalous. get a grip and be positive, yours r sounding like terriers.

Rodwell was a real prospect a few years back but his career has gone backwards and there has to be significantly better options out there! I would much rather see Solanke or Ings, (no matter how unlikely that might be) .

Ings and Solanke are attackers. lol so arguing about who you’d rather have is pointless as they are in dofference positions could possibly have both. What your saying is 100% true, he went to Man City for huge money and has went backwards, similar to that of Sinclair. gambles like these are well worth taking as the potential is huge. Rodwell would stroll up here with correct guidance from a guy who was world class and played his position. Rodwell has all the tools to be a top top player again.

A few people on here have mentioned a 5-3-2 formation with Tav and Dec Jon as full backs but playing that system were would Murphy or Candeas play? SG will play 3 energetic midfielders for me and in a 5-3-2 that would mean one up top and a number 10 or two strikers which I think is unlikely.
My guess is a 4-3-3 with Tav and Dec Jon as full backs to begin with but in difficult away games Jon F coming into one of the full back positions to make us stronger at the back. In this formation Murphy and Candeas can play and we have been linked with a few wingers too so on that basis I’m less sure about a 5-3-2 or 3-5-2 as I don’t think it accommodates our wingers.

Bit premature guessing formations ahead of seeing us playing any friendlies. Think SG who played in a number of formations at Liverpool will be getting team set so they can changes dependent on the opposition and scorleine. Has been our problem since coming back to the top league of not being adaptable.
