Right fellow Gers before you all start with the ridicules I First Hers the rumour from a family member season ticket holder at Everton he told me about 4 Days ago there were a lot of rumours down south about a possiblity of Stevie Naismith coming back to us on loan with Everton paying most of his wages as Rangers is his prefrence as he has been told he may have to leave or go on loan, now I Was a bit spectical when hearing this but with Everton now buying yet another striker today and Naismith not getting game time before this and it will only put him down the pecking order even more, i'm Noz saying i'm Totaly convinsed but things seem to be slipping into place of what he told me so you never know? Would other Gers fans have him back if this rumour is true or would you not want him back? Thoughts please. Watp

Wouldn't want him back and the way Davie Weir tapped him for Everton clouds my view on Weir but has Naismith not been getting a game he was playing and scored midweek

Would never accept his return. he spent most of the time on the treatment table then couldn't wait to bail.

Agree4 Disagree2

28 Aug 2015 21:27:21
I hope it is true. He would fit into our system a treat. He can play in a number of positions. right along the front line and the 2 wide midfield positions also. I don't hold any i'll feeling towards him whatsoever. The club was in dire straights and the players were looking out for their futures. It's a short career and it's about setting yourself up for life after football financially. I would take him back in a heartbeat and so would 99.9% of the Rangers fans. He's the type of front man we need. Full of running and scores goals. I would personally take him over Stevie May all day long but let's see what comes of the nasiy and may rumours over the next few days.

No chance.

29 Aug 2015 04:08:43
A couple of replys saying Naismith has been getting game time but if you were to check it has been all coming on as a sub apart from a rare start in the English Micky cup and now another striker bought for first Team or why buy him so the subs apperances will now probably stop and no real Player wants to sit on a bench or be a constant sub and that isn't going to do His Scotland chances anygood, I Know we are in the Scottish Championships but surely scoring goals in a Good attractive passing side in Rangers wouldn't do His Scotland chances any harm and he knows the club and weir knows all about him I Am honestly starting to think this could happen now even till January then both clubs could asses if no and can't get it over the line I Would Love to give may a chance if he would come, one of these deals I Believe Will happen before close of window unless W+W have a hidden jem in mind and its hush hush WATP

Get a grip he left because we were a total shambles and it's been proved so the last 3 year's have been a total disgrace and the old board would have sold him anyway. he was quite right to get out of that shambles I would have as well he loves the gers but what was his options?? Hang about and play crap football under sally, Mr mcoist turned reasonable player's in to poor player's with his management.

Bar a he has spoke out about our club at every farts end mate,he has done it for years, the incident he got banned for was he was more interested in talking about talking about fans arrested for sectarian singing that was his headline ,he hardly mentioned the football played, but had plenty to say about our bigoted club.specky ass. le.

we have enough players

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Aug 2015 09:40:15
Ok before you are start slating me. 3 points to make.

1st. Any new on the Stevie May romour. As to me Rangers have players there for cover. Should Rangers not look or even invest that money into youth?

2nd. Fraser Aird, is he leaving or staying. I know a lot of people don't like him. But in honest he's still young. He can play on the wings off the ST and even as an ST if Rangers full short. I think under W/W they can get the best out of him.

3rd. Do you think young Hardie, do you think we will get the chance to show what he can give to the team this year?

Thoughts please?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

28 Aug 2015 11:13:35
my thoughts are in warburton we trust young hardie came on the other night my thoughts are if they if they are good enough they will be given a chance

28 Aug 2015 11:22:15
Dont know about Steve may.not that bothered to be fair.
Fraser aird I think will be kept as cover for tav.any time he has come on he has slotted in at right wing back.
Hardie I think will be kept in squad at least till January.havent seen much of him but from what I've heard he has a promising future.this is what magicman is all about.developing our best youth.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Aug 2015 11:23:51
Only one thought . Aird doesn't play off the striker at all he's a winger

Agree2 Disagree2

28 Aug 2015 11:36:17
Tee boy, aired could not pass wind never mind pass the ball, nor could he cross the road mate never put a good ball into the box in his puff, mccoist thought aired had it,that was our biggest mistake listening to anything super said, super lager.

Agree2 Disagree1

28 Aug 2015 12:14:56
We should look at taking Stevie May on board as he is only 22! Investing in youth is important but we could get a few years out of May and sell on at a profit without him getting old!

Aird should go on loan as he will get more playing time that way.

Hardie came on the other night and did nothing to impress, thought he looked lost tbh. good player but not sure he's going to fit in to our system. Hope I'm wrong. Not sure how W/W are best dealing with that one.

Agree3 Disagree0

28 Aug 2015 16:40:14
Ive got a feeling may isn't interested in Rangers and I think we could get better when we get promoted at the end of the season. We don't need to spend anymore as goals are coming in thick and fast from a multitude of players.
Its Warburtons way as he already told us,he wants players that can cover all over the park.

Reported in the Sotsman that we have offered 1m for Stevie May

Believable2 Unbelievable7

28 Aug 2015 05:06:13
That story was on the 18th of July. Doubt it going to happen. Hope I'm wrong.

Agree0 Disagree1

28 Aug 2015 07:11:19
At this stage, it's 1m we don't have and I think his value is around 600k given the fact that Sheff Wed purchased him for 750k and he is no longer in their plans

Agree3 Disagree1

28 Aug 2015 09:50:31
Explain how it's 1m that we don't have.

Both King & Warbs have said if the right player becomes available at value they will move.

Is 1m value for May? Probably.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Aug 2015 10:31:37
Was it not 500k he signed for

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Aug 2015 11:49:35
TheCampbell My honest opinion is that we wait until we are in the SPL and we can buy a 1m player We can always take him on loan with possibility of buying the year after
