Hey Ed, you heard anything about Naismith to Everton? Really don't want to lose him, butt all the best if it goes through, him and Jelavic will rip English prem apart! {Ed014's Note - It does seem to be a badly kept secret down here.It was always going to happen.Jelavic has been talking him up to Moyes since he arrived.

Believable19 Unbelievable17

Dont know if it means anything but was in stewarton last night and naismith's house is up for sale

Ok im not the smartest bear in the woods but as i see it the EBTS used on these players if Ferguson recieved the most from these say £2.5m and then SDMs £6.5m total the rest of the players upto what £40-50million how much of that is actually Tax that we have avoided obviously we dont owe the whole sum back? Then penalties because i assume we will lose the BTC surely they cant Hammer us they just wont see it £5-15m max then theres CWs £14m PAYE NI Income Tax whatever bumped also Ticketus & a laundry list of Small Creditors i cant see any possibility of a CVA unless its an extraordinary pence in the pound deal from Mr Greens consortium thats a longshot so if it is a newco is this the guy to do it can we do anything to stop that? Born in 1991 It makes me sick the only Rangers ive ever known has been SDMs & CWs what ive loved and believed in feels rotten to the core and hanging by a thread what real chance will any Newco Rangers have how many will follow on pump money in for season tickets & shirts with a chance of just getting robbed and heartbroken yet again i am on a total downer with this and i just dont feel like there even is a Rangers anymore the only way it will ever be real again is if us True Gers fans do more someway somehow and breathe the lifeblood back into this Club we all want Rangers back but it has to be OUR RANGERS Old or New we need to be more involved Take our punishments start according rebuild with our tail between our legs not blame everyone else we make sure we get justice for the men to blame in our Plight as they are clearly criminals and then maybe once again we can be a respectable club acheiving the true greatness we have always been destined for this is me going on the tiniest possible chance but the only way i see our club surviving right now lies with us and the real Rangers men like Ally McCoist but i dont have all the answers i dont have any what can we do bears to put a stop to many more dark dark days ahead?!

Yes I can remember as a 12 year old - Ritchie, Shearer, Caldow, Davis, Paterson, Baxter, Scott, McMillan, Miller, Brand and Wilson.

When I can't remember that any more, I'll trot off to the nearest nursing home.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellow bears I think its time we called in some favours from that goldilocks bint

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think AM is all that inoccent and the way he acted with all this, calling for names, saying everyone is having a kick at yous ect,he knows what some of your fans are like and he didnt care because he knows he can get away with things and think he just likes to get ppl up in arms just to be on his side. and you havent heard anything from him or walter in awhile, i wonder why that is?start asking the right questions...think the only way forward is to clear every part of your club out and start fresh because you dont want to have a single link to anything from your old club with cheating/corruptness. it does suck for true fans of the game and it is yous who should be the most anger towards your own legends because they didnt care about yous for they took the chance of your club being in this much trouble, most other clubs would chose the life of the club and not just about winning no matter the cost.

Agree0 Disagree0

On the amount of the EBTs paid how much is tax it is 50% remember the every fiver they spend we'll spend a tenner quote? well that's why.
DB77

Agree0 Disagree0

50% of £50 million - is £25 million

for those with poor maths... but there will be penalties on top - one reason for the delay in the BTC could be 100+ EBT emails to review, as each one which proves that EBT was illegal adds to the penalties...

Imagine there is 100+ EBT's and associated emails and side letters......

No wonder the judges taking thier time - rangers case - its all legal

HRMC case - follow the money trail.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Side letters and double contracts that NOONE has shown. 14 weeks to find something?

For a moment lets look on the brighter side, possible transfer targets if ban lifted? I'm thinking Mitrovic on loan from Chelsea novo and gattuso. Thoughts people ed please post this to brighten everyone's sprits! {Ed014's Note - And before all the stupid posts about embargoes starts coming in,they won't be posted.Save your time or risk being blocked.

Believable7 Unbelievable17

I still think we should rely on our young players until jan at the very earliest

Agree0 Disagree0

Whos the guy from chelse he any gd wat position does he play

Agree0 Disagree0

Guttuso would be good, if fit. Other than that we need another striker, cover at left back and center half. Loans from down south would do because after some of the buys last year, Ortiz, bedoya, McKay, it doesn't seem like we even scout the players properly??

Agree0 Disagree0

Young Sheffield United centre back Maguire. 19 years old, watched him a few times last season, has the potential to be a good centre back.

TTG

Agree0 Disagree0

I think when fleck Hutton and Ortiz come back they will be like new signings

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not that we didnt scout properly its just the players mccoist really wanted like holt, goodwillie etc ..whyte put bids in that were never goin to be accepted therefor we had to go for cheaper options as he just wouldnt stump up the cash

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem with looking to get players on loan from the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, et cetera is that post-CVA or under a NewCo they will be out of pocket from the monies Rangers owed them.

With a string of footballing debts being left behind, how happy will other clubs be to deal with Rangers in whatever guise they come out of June in?

Agree0 Disagree0

I might be talking tosh but I seem to remember there being a pot in the CVA for non-footballing debts and and then footballing debts?

Agree0 Disagree0

Wait till later today (allegedly) for exactly what the CVA offers.

I think in terms of footballing debts, wasn't there something about SFA/SPL withholding distributions to pay off debts over the coming season(s)? i.e. needn't be part of the CVA.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you think Chelsea would sell you any players as you still owe them £400k!

Agree0 Disagree0

Given the recent "resistance" to paying full money (or anything, sometimes , "Lee Wallace") would any transfer need to be free or money up front?

Agree0 Disagree0

"I might be talking tosh but I seem to remember there being a pot in the CVA for non-footballing debts and and then footballing debts?"
--

Yes you are, HMRC would not agree to a CVA (assuming they would anyway) as they do not recognise the Football Creditors rule.

So even if Rangers wanted to do that they couldn't.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mitrovic is a 19 yr old striker

To poster 11, Rangers are not behind with their payments on Lee Wallace, as many seem to forget. The next instalment us not due to Hearts til July:

Rangers' creditors are still awaiting details of a reduced payments offer that could allow the club to come out of administration.

Administrators Duff and Phelps had stated a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) proposal was likely to be sent out on Monday but it was not forthcoming by the end of the business day.

The initial plan when Charles Green's Sevco consortium signed a deal to buy the club had been to finalise the document on May 21 and hold a creditors meeting on June 6, but the letter is now more than a week later than scheduled.

Creditors need at least two weeks to consider the proposal, with a 75% majority needed to pass the plan. There would then be a further 28-day cooling-off period before Rangers could come out of administration.

The fate of any offer effectively lies in the hands of both investment firm Ticketus, who are owed £26.7m, and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, who are due at least £14m but potentially several times more.

Green's group have pledged £8.5m with another £3.5m coming from transfer fees due to the club. Litigation over Craig Whyte's takeover deal could provide further funds at a later date.

The delays mean Green's group could have to fund a £1m-plus monthly trading loss when the players revert to their normal wages on Friday after accepting cuts of up to 75% for three months.

Rangers are also open to losing key players for reduced fees after the transfer window opens, also on Friday, as several negotiated exit clauses in their varied contracts.

The Blue Knights consortium, who saw their offer for the club rejected, claimed a CVA needed to be sent out on May 12 when they withdrew from the process 24 hours earlier.

Former Rangers director Paul Murray said then: "We see the only way forward for the club is to effect a CVA and unfortunately time has run out.

"There is no time left to effect a successful CVA and to exit the club in a healthy capacity from that process."

Believable10 Unbelievable4

One thing not mentioned in addition to the £1m plus monthly trading loss when the players revert back to normal wages is that they will be expecting what they weren't paid during the period back. This could cost the consortium vast sums of money the longer this drags out. Are they prepared to pough money into a club they don't actaully own?

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice quote in Tuesday's D/Telegraph ...

Rangers’ administrators Duff & Phelps, those masters of the missed deadline, on Monday claimed that details of prospective owner’s Charles Green’s Company Voluntary Arrangement proposal will be sent to creditors on Tuesday.

"THOSE MASTERS OF THE MISSED DEADLINE".

If most of us missed as many deadlines we would be collecting our P45's.

D&P are consistent if nothing else.

Mind you they could could have cleared out most of the players at the beginning of all this but they didn't.

Won't be much left for the creditors after the D&P bill.

Agree0 Disagree0

Am I right in thinking the wages werenot deferred? As this would have created more creditors? So there is no debt to players? Or am I wrong?

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason Paul Murray and TBK came up with this date was because they wanted it sorted before the players wages went back up as they had no more money to put up for the 1mil deficit at the end of the month.

Agree0 Disagree0

The more this goes on the more I'm convinced D&P stands for Deadline & Passed. When you think about it, in the short term, Green doesn't need cash up front to cover the cash shortfall once the wages revert back. If, as is rumoured, Naismith is sold for £1.5m, welll there's one month covered right away (plus reducing the next month's wage bill). I would imagine at least four of the top eight earners will be sold, short fall covered till October plus monthly shortfall down to around the milion mark if not less. Job done and not one penny from the consortium required, just an opinion but welcome to real world of asset-stripping, hard-nosed (not blue nosed) businessmen.

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the fact that Charles Green & Co have factored £3.5M of as yet unreceived transfer fees into their costs while having no intention to pay the transfer fees the club owes.

You might not do walking away, but what you are good at is having deep pockets and short arms...... Randolph

Agree0 Disagree0

Re wages - no I think it was a real pay cut. But the old pay levels start again next month.

Re money owed to Rangers - it's interesting that £3.5m is owed. Hypothetically a club could owe Rangers £1m and be owed £1m but only get £10K in a CVA from Rangers yet still be liable for the £1m. I know that probably isn't the case but the CVA just covers Rangers' debts. Fair? No, not at all. Rangers should expect the same rate from its creditors.

Agree0 Disagree0

Naismith being sold for enough cash to get rangers to end of June, £1.5m.
If CVA agreed, rangers problems just begin, £8.5m to hand over! Is it going to happen?
Several players should be sold now to treble the £8.5m CVA.

Believable14 Unbelievable23

What garbage, why the need to make up nonsense?
Is there not enough ammunition without making up tosh?

Agree0 Disagree0

How many players would need to be sold to treble the intial 8.5m ! considering they have clauses in tier contracts which allow them to leave for 2m or less depending on the player.

Agree0 Disagree0

And you think with the clauses in players contracts there is actually enough players with real value to raise the £17m you mentioned to treble this pot?

Agree0 Disagree0

Am hearing Peter Lawell's put a cheeky £2 million bid in for Naiskill, we don't need him, but just bidding cos we've got money. . . . legally :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is he being sold to all UK leagues transfer windows still officially closed till July im pretty sure that's after June {Ed014's Note - Deals can be struck as long as the parent club allow it.Nothing can be signed or registered until July 1.

Eight months since the first tier (tear) tax tribunal back in October 2011. A long long time for deliberations. Are the three judges being paid by the hour also? What is the average FTTT and longest FTTT time to ruling?

Believable15 Unbelievable7

What's your rush....... I dint see a rush to produce audited accounts so chill.LIQUIDATION comes to those who wait

hail hail

Marco1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Marco. To me, it is a perfectly sensible question to ask at this stage as nothing can move forward, be that in terms of liquidation, as you suggest, or otherwise, until the outcome of this case is known. Also, I don't see any 'WATP' or 'GIRUY' attachments or accusations being made by this poster that the tribunal is the fault of anyone else other than Rangers, for example. Those types of posters may have deserved the sarcastic response you gave, this one didn't. There are genuine, respectful Rangers fans out there who would just like answers and the whole process to be completed so we know if we still have a club to support. I imagine you would be the same if the roles were reversed. There was no need for that kind of response to this poster, in my opinion. I am always respectful on your site and the one time I was alleged to have been otherwise I apologised for it. Incidentally, there is a rush on for audited accounts: 15th of June is the deadline after WHYTE failed to produce prior to the March deadline. Constructive points and criticisms are always welcomed and I have read some from you before. I hope to do so again in the future.

Brian

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Brian, FTT are variable and can take over a year to report findings depending on the complexity. it may be that there is abit of time to wait yet

To me it simply shows that it it is not a straightforward decision, therefore it is a very thin line whether or not Rangers have breached tax laws.

Administrators of crisis-hit Rangers claim they are close to offering creditors a pence in the pound deal.

Insolvency firm Duff and Phelps said they hope to unveil a proposed company voluntary arrangement (CVA) to take the club out of administration later on Monday or on Tuesday.

The offer is going to be funded by the consortium led by ex-Sheffield United chairman Charles Green which is putting forward £8.5m to cover administrators’ fees and secured creditors, before the remainder is used for a CVA.

Following the submission of the proposed CVA, there will be a minimum 14-day period before a creditors’ meeting is held where those owed money by the Ibrox club will vote on being repaid a fraction of their debt.

Believable15 Unbelievable30

Blimey once the administrators have been paid there won't be much left for the creditors will there

Agree0 Disagree0

£8.5 million, wonder what will be left after duff and phelps and administration fees are paid,,,,,,, not much, looks like anybody owed money will be getting two packets a cheese and onion an a bottla irn bru............

Agree0 Disagree0

How long will these admins still be in charge though? Conflicts of interest galore... the clock is ticking.

Agree0 Disagree0

5pm it came and went,

no sounds from ibrox did they vent,

D&P Mr Green lots of promises they did make.

Only real thing was the piss they take,

Rangers fan moan for one night more,

awaiting the decision from their whore,

D&p paid by the hour, more for screaming

with all this money they are beaming.

Rangers now more was our cry,

How we laughed as we watch her die.

RIP in peace our Hectors friends

Think its now that I should end

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet another deadline missed, lastweek it was to be Friday then by close of business on Monday(today) and still nothing now maybe tomorrow, or maybe never

Agree0 Disagree0

Disgusting way to conduct business no football club should be allowed a CVA especially one with recent euro football and milking fans for 3 new strips every season

Agree0 Disagree0

The creditors have the right to question the fee's of the admins. So just becuase there is a massive bill does not mean they will get all there money.

Agree0 Disagree0

Another deadline missed ffs, wasn't the 1st deadline mid march or so? taken for a ride springs to mind, they r a joke. 1 very P'ed off bear :(

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC will probably go for it. Not really for political reasons but because certain money now is better than uncertain money later. Despite what has been reported, I reckon Green could still walk away if the CVA is rejected.

Cucum Bear

Agree0 Disagree0

Who benefits from all this but Duff & Phelps themselves... this regulatory body they have had better sort this out - before its too late and they have exhausted the entire account with their own fees - Whyte and Grier due another dinner celebration ?

Agree0 Disagree0

8.5m - 3.5m for D&P (and rising) = 5m - 2m for secured creditors = 3m divided by creditors = an insult. So HRMC & Ticketus will settle for this? Dream on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Creditors will get more from selling the assets than a cva

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC are not going to set a precedent of accepting a pittance rather than screwing Rangers for the simple reason that sooner or later they will be after far bigger fish (I canthink of 3 English clubs that they must be examining)and they are not going to give them up easily. Nor,speaking as a taxpayer,do I think they should.

Agree0 Disagree0

Duff and Phelps still pretending to be trying their best to achieve a CVA.

I stopped believing anything they said a coupla months ago.

Out of curiosity, how come Ticketus get to see their CVA proposal before everybody else? If I was one of the other creditors I think that would pesh me off even more with them.

D&P have so far did absolutely nothing to suggest they won't be perfectly happy to see Rangers liquidated.

BB {Ed014's Note - It is not their job to look after the Gers.Their duty is to the creditors and getting them the best deal no matter how it comes about.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Creditors will get more from selling the assets than a cva"

This has been done to death. They won't. Because if it goes newco the assets will be sold to the new club for 8.5 million. ergo they get the same.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also to the folks who find CVAs disgusting...welcome to the wonderful world of limited companies. If Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Hearts, anyone was i the same position they would do the same. It's the whole point of having a limited company, which is a risk in itself. It's only ever worth the money invested.

Personally I dont think football clubs should be limited, or be owned by anyone. There shouldnt be directors just custodians. And the buck should stop with them. But that's just me.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not that we find CVA's digusting. What we do find disgusting is blatant deliberate non payment of tax and racking up millions of pounds of debt that was known not to be serviceable. There is a huge difference with acquiring a CVA for this as opposed to your genuine businesses who have hit hard times through no fault of their own.
So, my friend that's the part of CVA's we find disgusting.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well as I said...welcome to the wonderful world of limited companies! This is how companies become insolvent. By deliberately trying to save themselves by wracking up debts. Not many companies voluntarily wind themselves up. It's the way ot works, whether you find it disgusting or not. Business is business. If you read my second paragraph you'll see I dont agree with it either. It's the way it is and the way it has to be or no-one would ever risk opening a company and we would have no economy. What do think capitalism is?

Sad but true.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ poster 17. "blatant deliberate non payment of tax" - yup, with you there, that is disgusting.

"racking up millions of pounds of debt that was KNOWN not to be serviceable" - that's stretching the truth a bit to suit your argument surely unless you are pointing the finger solely at Whyte of course.

Debt is manageable until you struggle to keep up with the payments. Up until the Schyster took over the debt owed by the club had reduced significantly year on year and was perfectly manageable (equatable with Celtic's: 14m-18m). If a genuine investor who had the interests of the club at heart had bought the club and ran it properly and astutely the debt, and therefore the tax, NI, etc, would have continued to have been serviced and reduced and we would have been left with the big and small tax cases as stand alone issues. Those are similarly disgusting aspects if proven correct for me - dual contracts, improper use of EBT's, etc. Whyte on the other hand has clearly seen fit to pay NOTHING into the club and therefore intentionally paid nobody with the aforementioned zero investment he made which hiked up the level of debt significantly and subsequently placed us in admin. He is decimating the club for personal profit whilst dangling the carrot of a debt free club at the end of it for the gullible - his plan all along in my opinion.

Man Utd are half a billion in debt, Man City posted a loss of 180 odd million in one year, Barca and Real owe the Spanish government almost a billion between them in unpaid taxes (gifted to them by the government apparently whilst every other Spanish club had to pay up - look at the Spanish financial system now, the big two may find themselves in trouble soon when the taxman comes calling). Rangers income would have serviced £14m even without a genuine billionaire like Dermott Desmond as a failsafe.

Murray does have serious, serious questions to answer in my opinion (taking such poor financial advice in the first place, continuing with EBT's once he had been told the risks involved and had seen Celtic stop and settle theirs soon after starting their own EBT's, etc) but Whyte has systematically ripped the club apart in the space of just over a year purely for his own gain and has muddied the waters so much that nobody has a clue what is truly going on. That is what is disgusting me. The CVA, under new ownership, then becomes an obvious option as a means to eradicate old debt not accrued by the new owners. Any businessman would quite rightly do the same when embarking on a new business venture, Mr Desmond included no doubt. Whyte and Murray SHOULD be chased for the shortfall as I would personally like to see all the debt paid back but unfortunately I can't see that happening either: Murray has no money to pay anybody with and Whyte will leave a trail of liquidated companies in his wake as he disappears over the horizon with his 'wealth off the radar' secured.

Brian

Agree0 Disagree0

HMRC and the other unsecured creditors will almost certainly get nothing. After admin,Close brothers,CWs floating charge there will be nothing left.
HMRC will hang Rangers out to dry before accepting a couple of pence in the pound.

Rangers have not yet met the necessary criteria to play in the Scottish Premier League in the 2012/13 season.

STV can reveal the league's board has responded to the club's request for a "period of grace", in order to submit audited accounts and adhere to the SPL's financial disclosure requirements.

SPL rules allow for a time extension to be granted and Rangers have been given until mid-June to satisfy the rules, having missed the original March 31 deadline.

A spokesperson for the league told STV: "Rangers FC made an application for a period of grace in terms of SPL Rule A2.7 in which to provide certain documents required by the SPL Financial Disclosure Requirements.

"The SPL Board granted a period of grace until Friday 15 June 2012 for the documentation to be provided. The matter will be reviewed further at that time."

Believable15 Unbelievable9

Should be interesting, it's one thing filing audited accounts, but if they carry qualifications/commentary from the auditors then the SPL may still not be satisfied that they have met the financial criteria.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love to see these audited accounts. Under a list of debtors there is an item "due to HMRC £15 million pounds
and possible due to HMRC £45 million pounds. Trading loss either £25 million or £70 million" We are satisfied that this is a true and accurate reflection of the financial situation of Rangers. Signed M.Mouse Accountants. This is the crown of cowboys that have not found the EBT contracts in 14 weeks !

Agree0 Disagree0

So the SPL have given Rangers a three month extension to the required date to get fully audited accounts submitted. Talk about bending over backwards to accommodate Rangers.
What about the other financial disclosure rules? Where has the £8.5m come from? Is it clean or dirty money? And what about the £7m operating costs during the summer? Green needs to list his backers, how much they put in each and where it came from.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why get picky about financial disclosure when we know that they deliberately withheld £13m in PAYE, national insurance payments and vat?
3rd division beckons.

Agree0 Disagree0

Truly amazing how Rangers can let every deadline slip past but remember to put in a plea for an extension. Maybe the letter was meant to be sent to C.R.Smith when they were sponsors and its only now been posted.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 May 2012 15:45:05
I see that we have had to go cap in hand to the SPL fro more time to produce audited accounts to ensure our league status for next season.

Given that D&P have been in charge for over 100 days I would have thought they could produce accounts for last year.

I am aware that they have faced a difficult task, however failing to comply with this requirement seems to be another example of D&P not understanding the football aspects of a club in administrstion.

I wouldn't claim to be able to pass judgement on their financial skills. I do however feel that they constantly let Rangers down when it comes to their dealings on football & football administration matters, & by administration I mean dealing with football's governing bodies. - Jaxie

Believable15 Unbelievable1

Was the grace period not until like 15th of feb,

i.e 1 day after duff and phelps took over?

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was 15th feb also......was a big issue months ago.
Will failure again with audited accounts, first time was Whyte last year (do no accounts since 2010 so far) a second immediate UEFA one year ban?

Agree0 Disagree0

You did not go cap in hand at all. You exercised  rule 2.7 which allows for digression  in timing. seeing the paper work was due in by the 31st of March this is hardly a story. What will be a story is the tightness between the CVA being agreed (or  not)  and the presentation of the accounts by the  15th of June. I am sure the CVA will be required to have been agreed in order to close the accounts for 2011-2012 if thats the way they wanted to go. If not then then I am sure another set is already prepared ready to hand in without a  CVA which wont make very good reading.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sion took swiss fa thru various courts and EUFA waited till they lost and were out of europe

then said - PUNISH THEM MORE - and swiff inflicted additional 36 point penalty.

If gers loose against SFA - what will the UEFA punishment be for that ??

If gers have double contracts what will be the UEFA/FIFA punishment for that ?

IF SPL/SFA dont punish gers enough - then FIFA will revoke scottish membership - its that serious.

Swiss FA had to punish Sion more...

If SFA has to punish GERS more - will they take even more legal action ??

where will this end?

Agree0 Disagree0

this cva carry on is taking far to long it was ment to be last week then ment to be monday now mite not be till tuesday green and his group will walk duff an phelps are a joke they take loads of money out of every adminstration they take on complete farce from day one

Believable22 Unbelievable8

Yeah. See what you mean but is it d & p holding it up or greens consortium? Is it a ploy to make people think it won't happen or its touch n go? So to force creditors arms? Who knows?! One things for sure it won't be a smooth process whichever way it goes.

Agree0 Disagree0

If I remember correctly a number of Hector fans posted last week that today was going to be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Appears the Hector train has been derailed again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte Murray and nw Green there all the same con men.Cva wnt b agreed Kennedy said at beginning of may they had days 2 sort it or it would b 2 late

Agree0 Disagree0

The only creditors arm that needs forced is HMRC.Here's their policy,in their own words:
The very first reason why HMRC will not agree a CVA is, in their OWN words -

“We are also likely to reject a voluntary arrangement where there is evidence of:
• evasion of statutory liabilities…..â€

Given
1. RFC refused to pay PAYE, NIC or VAT for nearly a year, and
2. What HMRC regard as, the misuse of EBTs for the previous 10 years,

To agree a CVA would mean tearing up their own rule book. They have NEVER voluntarily agreed a CVA if they believe TAX,VAT etc has been deliberately withheld.

Agree0 Disagree0

No sane person could look at the financial mess that is RFC and say to his pals (20 or 5 depending which diary he has) look lads here is a gold mine. Just lob in £8 million pounds and when we get away with fiddling Ticketus(the last lads who saw a chance to get rich at Ibrox)and then we satisfy the SPL that ALL these contacts or EBTs are just fancy pay slips and then we convince EuFA that we were just joking taking the SPL to court and then HMRC let us roll over to prove to others running EBTs that it is OK by them and we get the SPL to OK us buying players (we will have no trouble getting credit with the Rangers name behind us ----- are you still there. You'll make a mint. Everyone will want to invite us to come and play against them. Hotels and travel agents know we are financially sound and if they come to us they know they will be paid. Look just go down to the local shop and get a paper --The Daily Ranger will tell you hpw good we are --put it on our slate. Ibrox will be a helipad for flying pigs before that happens.

HMRC sometimes agree CVAs with honest businesses fall into administration due to adverse market trading conditions.
A CVA with Rangers after their tax crimes is simply not feasible.
Rangers fans seem to think all administrations are similar to rangers and full of dodgy aspects which is simply not the case.

"hector fans"? hector is the wee guy from HMRC so you mean fans of HMRC then? your post makes no sense then......I blame the schools to be honest, as for the HMRC don't do CVA's......oh how you may hope and pray they don't, oh how I shall chuckle if it happens, and that day I will know to avoid any of the bridges in Glasgow as they will be chocked full with green and grey.

The house of commons public accounts committee has censured HMRC from doing any more deals and sacked the top 3 HMRC directors for having done these deals.

RIP Glasgow Rangers. This may shock the WATP but no one is above the law. Don't take it out on every other team. Look closer to home, it was your own guys who brought this on. Many trophies won through it, sadly its time to pay for the crimes that led to the good times.

To the man afraid of bridges if the one in a million chance comes up. What have Celtic or any other club lost if Rangers avoid oblivion? Rangers are the laughing stock of football now and for evermore. Burntisland Shipyard FC has more standing now. You may claim to have a history and I don't really care if all those you cheated are compensated - but you most certainly do not have a future. Anywhere two or more of you go wearing your beloved colours people will be siggering and pointing fingers behind your back. Your stigma will never die! You are the walking dead. The great cheating untouchables and there is nothing you can do about it! Ho Ho Hoh.
