Board meeting today to try again to oust Malcolm Murray. Sky is there to see what chaim reaction then follows i. e will Walter walk away. Who will the new chairman be?. There is also a rumor Humphrey will sign today & that Neil Alexander has penned. a 1 year extention.
Agree0

Sky must be struggling if they are setting up to see some guy called Humphreys signing on for a 2nd Div club!
Agree0

Vans are there to highlight further turmoil in the boardroom. Certainly not there to interview all these " world class " players we are signing. Oh how times have changed.

Chris Humphrey Deal is looking close to completion now. The player was thought to be ready to head down to England. But as soon as he heard the Rangers interest was seriously his mind was made up. He has been really impressive with the direction the club is heading. He spoke with Ally and believes this is where he wants to play for the foreseeable future. Rangers have Offered a 3 year contract and the option of a fourth. I have heard McCoist has been given the chance to sign a ex premiership defender but not sure who it is. Anyone got any ideas like.

Can't see it happening if they where in prem league maybe think he will still be at Celtic for next season and to be honest am no fussed where he is manager

Nobody wants lennon. I hope wee sugar puff teeth is here for a while yet as he is a shi. e manager. jmgers

Who gives a damn?
Agree0

What a load of guff, Wigan will be after a decent manager not a rattle throwing child.
Agree0
Disagree1
Thought this was a Rangers rumours page? Not a celtic page. No one cares about lennon!
Agree0

He won't leave for another 2 seasons. Why would he? he's manager of a team who has 10x the resources of any of his competition.
Agree0
Disagree0
Does anyone actually care is my response.
Agree2
Disagree1
Update on my op, my contact at DW stadium informs me that this is now not the case. Apparently they want a quality manager who can take them back to the big time, looking at Craig Levein now.
Agree0
Disagree1
Who cares.
Agree0
Disagree1
Can't see this happening! Wigan are a good club and they will need an experienced manager who knows what it takes to get them out of that league and back in the Premiership.
Agree0
Disagree1
Bit rich for a rangers fan to be saying another team has a sh!te manager - like yours is brilliant? How did he do in Europe? Or in every cup entered? One up front in D3? Awesome manager.
Agree1
Disagree0
Another attempt at humour from timmy
Agree0

Bit rich a Celtic fan talking about our manager when 2 seasons ago they wanted Lennon out after Ross county game in semi short memories Celtic fans typical
Agree0
Disagree1
Oh I'd love that he'd get found out! He's never out the papers asking for credit for a one horse race, and he even still managed to finish the season with the worst points tally in the history of the spl for a team that where crowed champions! Please hope he goes down there ha the media would have a field day with him and his wee boy syndrome attitude!
Agree1
Disagree1
28 May 2013 21:31:29
It was a one horse race when we won nine in a row as well lads as Celtic were on their knees like us just now in those years. So don't fall into the trap of putting down Neil Lennons achievements as you are also putting down ours.
Agree1
Disagree2
Imagine you lot coming on here and having the audacity to call the Celtic managers ability into question. Your manager is an embarrassment to your club in terms of what he has produced on the field. What a bout the tube who's going on about 10 x the resources of the opposition what about you lot in the 3rd? Playing against part time £50 a week players and being beaten at home? So what, now he's sanctioned a few new signings from the SPL he's back in the good books? Embarrassing, honestly embarrassing.
Agree1
Disagree1
Haven't heard Ally getting too many mentions about all these vacant posts, he has about the same experience as Lenny in managerial terms.
Agree1
Disagree0
Only embarrassment is that clown Lennon who has brought nothing but controversy to Scottish football since he came he is a joke and disgrace to football and ally will show his management credentials in time
Agree1
Disagree1
How much more time does Ally need, he's like a 7yr old kid who still wants breast fed!
Agree1
Disagree0
After Craig Whyte, Administration, Liquidation, Charles Green, Lies, Racist remarks etc etc etc still going etc. seriously mate Lennon isn't the one who's been causing bad press for scottish football. He's an ar*e, an angry wee ginger bugger some times but after the treatment he's had since he set foot in this country I believe anyone would end up with the same exterior. But again your hatred for Lennon means you can't make an honest judgment of the guy. There's not a single football supporter outside of the Rangers support who would say he's a rubbish manager, not unless they have an agenda. He hasn't spent big money yet brought in young talented players who will go on to earn Celtic massive profits. The team has improved every year and this year brought Celtic fantastic success in the Champions League along with a domestic double. Rangers competed in the scottish cup they just won and as for the league Celtic can only beat what's in front of them and its certainly not there fault Rangers are in the position they are. St. Mirren league cup semi final defeat is a black mark and as for the poor league form at times, i'm sure in hindsight Celtics fans won't mind the same next year if it brings the same success come the end of next season.
I just think its embarrassingly obvious its more about the man himself not his ability when people come out saying he's a poor manager.
He's certainly doesn't deserve to be tagged a "great" manager. But has without doubt earned the right to be called a good manager.
And as for Super Ally, well. he has done absolutely nothing in his time at Rangers to give any kind of confidence he will go on to be a good manager.
Oh and by the way in all the time Neil Lennon has been in scottish football, the red cards, the gestures, the angry interviews, confronting referee's, touchline bans. none, not a single one of them measures up to McCoist calling for the names of the 3 panelists, not one. Dangerous, sneaky, stupid and a disgrace, which led to death threats and undeserved hassle and worry for those mens families not to mention an apparent threat of arson on Raith Rovers stadium.

Struth-
I am certainly not a timmy, just a wee noise up.

I for one have no agenda, or any particular fondness of Celtic or Rangers. But for anyone to come here and justify the often crass, childish and downright disrespectful attitude of Neil Lennon are blinkered. This guy goes out of his way, in fact I belive he is encouraged by his employers to engage in petty behaviour. Sorry this guy is not employable anywhere else, he is in his natural home.

Alexander to sign a 1 year deal but will be on the bench as new number 1 bell to take his place. WATP
Believable10
Unbelievable62
If alexander isn't first choice we should let him leave. Promote a younger keeper, on significantly less money, to be Bells understudy
Agree3
Disagree0
Surely we should be looking to one of the young keepers currently at Ibrox to be understudy to Cammy Bell and at a lesser wage.
Agree0
Disagree0
No chance of this. we need Alexander off the wage bill to help pay for the new boys. He was on big bucks. sure he will get a gig somewhere for another year or two on decent money. still a good keeper.
Agree0

All these over paid semi pro's are like Ally's comfort blanket, too scared to let go in case he has another mare of a season tactically, "same old, same old"!

Aye it might b! So well done gers for finding a gem! Queen of the south where a right good team that season there, won the league by the most points in British football, and he was the one banging in all the goals, it's a team effort we all know, but ask anybody that plays the game, scoring goals is the hardest part! Nicky Clark - Sandy's son - started off in Aberdeen's youth system.

It is the one who played for aberdeen as a youngster he was also on the books of rangers as a trainee a good young prospect and worth taking a punt on.

Wilson signed for Hearts yesterday. Before you come on here spouting lies check your facts.

Danny Wilson has signed permanent deal for Hearts, come on keep up. Where is the money coming from to pay these players wages? I hope they are on low basics with good bonuses for targets, but doubt it. When will we ever learn?

28 May 2013 11:40:11
Danny Wilson has signed for Hearts and Berra can't return as he has never played for us.
Eiher would have been good but I don't think Berra will happen.
We need to sign a decent centre half and a playmaker. However happy with what McCoist has done in terms of signings so far.

Wilson Has officially moved to hearts but the rest seem promising, Nicky Clark is officially confirmed now but hope what you say on Humphrey is true. Him and Temps on the wings. Imagine that :P WATP
Agree0

Think playmaker wise we are ok for now, ie shiels temps Mckay law aird. More than enough. With black mcculloch Hutton McCleod sitting. Daly Clark little and miller. It's at the Back we struggle, I like Darren cole to get a chance (if can't get hateley) but we certainly need 2 x CBS! Badly
Scott
Agree0
Disagree0
What is the fuss about this boy hateley. Turn it up man if we can bring in at least one centre half we have makings of good squad. I see Danny Wilson made the right decision in leaving rangers.
Agree0
Disagree0
I don't rate hately, He takes a good free kick, we need a right back who does what Wallace does on the left and bombs forward. We need a passer in the ball in the centre of midfield Black & Hutton are awful McLeod needs someoneof equal abillity in there with him.
Agree0
Disagree0
I'd like to see young Gasporotto get his chance, he looked comfortbale (even with Criabari beside him!) - Peralta seems to be the main defensive target.
Agree0
Disagree0
I think the original poster got the idea about Wilson after the first reply, was it necessary for 5 people to correct them?
Agree0
Disagree0
We have a lot of players we cannot offload because they are on longish term contracts. So, how the hell are we going to afford all these additional players when rumour has it we are losing money hand over fist? Looking forward to next year already?
Agree0
Disagree0
Re "I think the original poster got the idea about Wilson after the first reply, was it necessary for 5 people to correct them?".
I think you'll find there were no postings, then they all appeared at once. No one intended any offence. All they did was try and correct the OP (as I am doing with you).

Ian vigurs to sign next 24 hours after talks with ally!
Scott
Believable11

Hope soon and with Humphrey also coming we will have sort the midfield and attack very early. Leaving plenty of time to find two quality defenders. Then we can dump the players that are not good enough like Faure and Cribari
Agree0

What about Miller? Wasn't he signing in 24 hours last week?
Agree0

I thought Iain Vigurs had already signed for Oldham!

I never said 24 hours for miller! I said Jim delahunt said deal should be done as early as Thursday, last week. Millet will sign I have been told that. When.? Soon
Scott

How will the club 'dump' players if no-one wants them? They'll have to have their contracts paid up, which will be costly.

Vigurs signed 2 year deal with oldham last week
Agree0

Scott (or is it Fraz): you still haven't explained how Miller will sign when he's under contract. Will he be released? Will Rangers match his wages or expect him to take a massive cut at the end of his career - not a normal move, unless your name is Beckham.
Agree0
Disagree0
Fraz? You've lost me pal. I don't know what contract he will be on, how would I know that? But he will sign. There trying to sort something between bocanegra going opposite way. Why u not just accept what in saying. Once I'm wrong ( which I'm not) u can come on and judge. Until then accept I've been correct on everything do far.
Scott {Ed001's Note - lost you? You mean you are pretending that you weren't posting as Fraz to back up your own posts? Even though Fraz coincidentally has the exact same IP address?}
Agree0
Disagree0
Scott/Fraz/whoever: no swap deal can be done as Rangers can only sign free agents and if both were freed, it wouldn't be a swap deal. Miller will have to take a significant drop on wages to re-join anyway - are you honestly telling us all that will happen?
You're lying about not posting as Fraz so how can we believe your rumours.
